If showing off was what Elio had intended, Genevieve was truly impressed. Hell, she half didn't want to let go of his arm, finding it difficult to remove herself. She didn't want to be peeled away. This fluffy princess feeling in her chest is something she never really had before, and she'd be damned to let it slip through her manicured fingers. But when the chair is pulled out, and she sits quietly, she feels his lips on her cheek.

The waiter got a front row seat to Genevieve short-circuiting. The waiter handing the menu to them, as she feels her face light up, cheeks so hot she could cause first degree burns. A longing begins to build in her though. A longing that confident and cute wink do not give her. She shifts in her seat, hiding her face, but not her hazel eyes in the menu. Instead, she looks above it, right to Elio.

"A-Alolan coffee, please." There's a stutter, nervousness within her voice, as she finally eyed the menu. Golden scripts denote a level of sophistication, and details make it better or worse, as her nerves light aflame.

Though those cool down upon seeing Elio's own. She smiles through heated cheeks.

With a loving smile of her own, she reaches over the table. "Elio-" she starts, parting those glossy lips to look him in the eyes. "-any guy can take me to a movie. You took me here though." She takes a moment to hold his hand, gazing so affectionately that she can feel the pounding of her own chest. Is this how it felt to have a guy actually treat her right? She never wanted to let go.

Fate has other plans though. For a brief moment, it's perfect... until a beauty reveals herself. Green alluring eyes, black hair, unmatched divinity in attractiveness. Her hand drops from Elio's own, as she watches him, and then her, and then him, and then her. Her voice is shrill, and for perhaps the first time, though likely not the first, Genevieve Cromwell feels her world shatter.

The moment she's called a hooker, that shatter reassembles itself, and Genevieve becomes a monster all her own behind sunny brown eyes. If Elio is a blizzard, Genevieve is a demon in that moment, readying herself to drag Sheryl down. Pushing the chair out, as this lady dug those claws in, her hazel eyes hide daggers behind red bangs. Genny can't find the strength to ask who she is, won't find the courtesy to request her name. Instead, as she walks around the table, past Sheryl.

She places herself on Elio's lap, right in front of her, and grabs Elio's face with both hands. She cannot hurt Sheryl, says no words, has no insults. She does not sling them at Sheryl, because to her, Sheryl is beneath her. If Genny was Elio's princess, this woman was nothing. As his face is pulled into her own, she places her lips on his, and keeps it there, stealing the kiss before Sheryl could have a second to respond. Her lips tasted of strawberries, a taste she wanted him to enjoy later, but would happily indulge in now. She smells of a citrus scent, zesty in its scent and allowing Elio a time to take it in. Admittedly, she holds their lip lock for what feels like minutes.

When she breaks it finally, one eyes turns towards Sheryl. She gives a sunny side smile. "Sorry! There was something on his lips, and as his girlfriend, I had to get it. It's gone now! What was your name again? Did you need something?" She knows her name. To put it plainly, for the first time in Genevieve Cromwell's life, she didn't care. The entire time she has fastened herself her, straddling atop of Elio now. "If not, could you excuse us? We're very busy." She's on her man like a Komala on a tree.

Power move, Genny. Power move.

It was nice. To have something simple. Sure, they met at the clinic when she helped him get cleaned up, but it sure as heck beat her last crush in Alola! Sure, he was passionate about surfing, and even if by too much, she found it hard to do anything when their first, second, third, and fourth date was just... surfing.

Genny was simple. Take her to the movies. Take her to dinner. Stay inside for the night. She can do it all, but the same thing over and over again is hard for her.

Elio's first question had her smiling wide, glossy lips wide as giggles in her first answer. "Well, I do like eggnog, but I admit I can drink a few people under the table." She refuses to elaborate, but decides to go into other drinks. "I'm a coffee girl though, but it has to have creamer! Oh, I do love hot cocoa too!"

When he says he's not good at small talk, her heart is flourishing. She doesn't even mind that. People have different ways they interact, to talk, to be who they are. It was okay. In fact, it was another reason to enjoy his company. His touch. To enjoy Elio as all he was.

Love is weird because sometimes its wrong to fall too fast because she knows she can fall and hit hard. But, she can't say he isn't flattering her. He calls her princess, she snatches his hand, as she is holding onto him. He can call her that every day, and he might even see little hearts pop near her head! But when he finally gives her advice, Genevieve feels her face redden. Oh no... fancy living! How... much did this cost?

The nerves got to her. Now she has to try even harder. But how? The way he carries himself, the way he effortlessly talks and says his name with a level of confidence. Wow, that was hot. Genny could feel the tables turn, and she was a blushing scarlet mess now.

Her arm loops his arm, she holds onto him as if letting go meant he would disappear, as they walk.

She looks towards Elio, and sees that confident contrast, and decides to push her head to his arm. Impressed? Absolutely. Does she want more? Absolutely. She found something she adored though. The way he called her princess. She truly believed it.

Oh she's a Ranger!~ Oh that changes everything! The way she smiles, her sunny disposition! Well they'll get along like two Eggs in an Exeggucute! It made it even better when Genny finds out what Sunny's looking for!

"You're in luck then, new friend! I'm looking for Tera Shards too!" She's placing her hands on her hips, confidence surging through her grin. "If we work together, we can do anything! But... no, I haven't yet. But they'll show up!"

It makes it even better, when Genny's own Darmanitan gives Sunny and Genny two thumbs up, one a piece, and a quick nod.

"I'll help you find one first, then I can find mine! That sound fair?" She didn't even ask for help in return, she just loved seeing people smile, seeing how happy someone else got when something went well.

And this new friend was absotively posilutely going to get a Tera Shard! So help her!

What makes this funny, is that Genny is watching, and while the Totodile seems to enjoy the burnt berry, she writes it down. But when Watson has a funny little idea about the bush that Genny was disguising as, the redhead's eyes are like a Sawsbuck in headlights.

"WAIT WAIT WAIT WAIT-!" She calls out, popping out of her spot, and shaking her fake bush off. Her costume that cost her like, $70 just to do this mission, she is sweating at this little gator boy coming at her. The Fuecoco, naturally, stares. And the experiment is ruined.

Genny realizes. "NO!" She cries out, slightly teary eyed. The whole point of observation was to write down and not be noticed.

Like a nature documentary. Being noticed was like taboo in documentary, even if she didn't have a camera on her.

The Fuecoco doesn't understand, but they do come over... to start chewing on Genevieve's bush outfit they threw off.

Mnmm... latex-y.

So she wasn't alone in this thought! What a relief. With a soft giggle, she nods. It would be fun to be chased by new Pokemon! "No kidding! The other day, like, I was out in the field studying up on this alligator that looked like an apple! Its name was Fuecoco!" She's grinning ear to ear at the thought itself.

Still. It doesn't take long for the melancholy to return to her. Genny sighs a little, still enjoying the heat of the Charizard, but her disposition softens.

"You can tell so much loss has happened here... it's a little scary. But, I came to rescue some Pokemon in need. I figured, if I can find a new home for at least one today, then it was worth the expedition!" She gives Kaz her honest thought on her reason for being here in the ice lands.

That's how she saw it!

Ear-to-ear, she beams at the new person! This was the second person she found here! Already, they seemed like a sweet individual! With a lookover, right as he inquires about her, she gives it. A little naive!

"I'd say a month ago, if you mean Hoenn! If you meant this place though, about four, five hours ago? I'm here for rescue operations if I can! Some Pokemon are likely displaced due to ecological shifts in their habitats. At least, that's what we have on file!"

Genny isn't exactly the smartest, but when it came to this stuff, she tried to keep as up to date as she could. But something catches her eye. A blue... blue! It's a white and blue Abomasnow! Cowering behind a tree, looking at their direction. With a big wide ol' grin, she takes out a Pokeball.

"One sec!"

And chucks that shit right towards the big cowardly guy. BAM! That would be her first Pokemon capture, as she turns towards the man again. "What's your name?"

With a shrug, she just beams at Lammy. Same ol' Lammy. He does make the rolled out of bed look work, but Genevieve would often force herself to wake up at 5AM to spend three hours looking good before her day started. Early to bed, early to rise!

Besides, if Prince or Princess Charming falls into her lap, she won't be caught dead looking bad for them!

"You should still look good once in awhile! I'll do your hair once for Rook... Rook?" It's as if that tidbit of information just gave her an edge... when in all reality, all it did was give her more information about Lammy's life since they parted ways.

Lammy always seemed reactive to energy, in her honest opinion. There was nothing wrong with that, but as he teases her, she makes a giggle of her own, a hand to her face. "Tell you what. I'll give you my contact details, so when I do find a date, you'll be the first to know!" She's already got her phone out, as she opens up a new contact for him to enter.

"It'll be nice to talk to you more again, Lammy." She was ecstatic. She adored him, and now they'd get to talk again! The best ending to a great day!

The red dressed beauty (PENELOPE LIVY ) was absolutely lovely, her toast incredibly sweet, Genny's lips curled upwards from the whole endeavor. She liked her! And so was the other beauty Aurelie Lefevre ! Wow, so many redheads here tonight, including Kyrenai Black ! Genevieve is in good company! "Happy to be here! Wow, you three look fantastic!"

Truly, so does CIAN MAHER , but he does equate that to the lovely matching outfit that was Penelope's dress. Wow, she almost felt out of place.

Genny finds herself drinking another drink down, a little nervous around everyone in this joint. She'd still try and chime in, but perhaps a second glass wasn't the best idea on shaky heels? Her attention is split however, by the arrival of luka chêne . Genevieve, of course, has to make a comment, but starry eyes see her whole ensemble. "Wow..."

She hadn't even realized the ballroom had been opened, and that's when people started leaving the circle. Miss Red and Mr. Red (Penny and Cian) moved out to the dance floor, Miss Scarlet is out with the friendly other Miss Crimson, and Genny realizes she's the last redhead of the bunch. And she doesn't have a partner for the night!

She was hoping to spy Elio somewhere. Oh well, this was all in good fun! She was really enjoying the champagne at least!

Still, a respectable amount of panic begins to fill her cheeks, as she tries to do the best thing she can; look for someone in need. And lookie there, Miss Star Dress was open! Genny enjoyed another taste of liquid courage, and quietly made her way over, missing the whole altercation, as she gives a short wave. "Hello! I hope I'm not interrupting? You look amazing! Who does your hair?" This woman was beautiful. It reminds her of annalise henderson , honestly, and for good reasons too!

It isn't flirting per se, it's just genuine compliments, Genny's own hazel eyes starry as she beams towards her.

Wow, he's cute when he's red in the face. Genny can feel her lips curving upwards mischeviously. It reminds her of a one of the cutest guys she dated back in Alola. Only difference? That guy's abs didn't come near to Elio's, and all it takes is a perfectly manicured hand to realize that.

His arm feel good around her, it felt natural, it has her hazel eyes staring into his purple hues. He's attractive, handsome, sweet, and she was smitten.

Beautiflies cry when he calls her gorgeous. Clothes, jewelry, Pokemon, food... he was around her fingers, but Genny wasn't the type to use that to her advantage. She merely wanted to have him for her own, because it was clear she was already feeling quite a bit for him too.

"We should. I wouldn't have minded a few more minutes there though. But if you didn't make a move, I was going to." Talk is cheap, and while she might have been saying she'd do that, her legs almost gave out below her. Her legs were about to crumble, but when he winks at her, she can feel her heart leaving her chest.

"What a gentleman!" She doesn't just hop in though. No, instead, she hops up, pulling him down a little, and lacing a small kiss to his cheek.

Sweet man like Elio deserved that much.

With a wink of her own, she hops right into the luxury car. "More where that came from later. Elio." She says his name with this melodic attentiveness, as if enjoying that name upon her lips, tasting it like a sweet dessert. When she seats herself, she places one leg over the other in her seat, seated and twirling a strand of her hair upon a finger, curling those Galarian redhead locks between. A nervous tick she does often.

Calm down, Genny. You can fake it till you make it. Just... keep playing up the femme fatale. She could feel herself breathing a little heavier. Her heart was beating out of her chest. Was he driving, or was he coming to sit next to her? If so... she had to keep impressing him. She sweats at the thought. If its just coffee, maybe she could calm down a little if he's driving! If not, she wonders if she will crack?

So many stories about meeting people's heroes were just letdowns, but Annalise? Not even remotely. She was so sweet, and so personable too! Every bit the kind of woman she aimed to be in the Rangers.

Her tiny four foot eleven frame sits in the seat, the Eevee enjoying the snooze below, as Genny listens intently to their mission. With a finger on her bottom lip, she thinks a moment. So they were doing a delivery mission? That sounded simple enough. To Lavaridge though? She chimes in. "Oh, is it because of the snow?" It made sense. Lavaridge was by a volcano. It reminded her of the documentary she saw with the Mankey over in a foreign region, sitting in hot springs in the heavy winter.

The aux cable is in Genny's hands, and she nods, pulling her phone, and attaching it in. She immediately sets to play her driving mix, a smile on her lips when the question comes up.

"Oh, it's wonderful! Helped out in Lilycove in the aftermath of the meteor, and helped a lot of people in the local clinic in Slateport too. I wish I was in Littleroot with my team during the attack, but I'd have slowed them down or worse. But that's okay, sometimes being support has its own rewards! I actually feel like I'm helping people, like my parents did!" She felt so bubbly and full of sunshine at the thought. Yeah, some of it wasn't so fun, but overall she loved meeting people, helping them, and doing everything in her power to make their lives easier!

She pets Serenity, turning her head with a big smile. "Met a guy during it too at the clinic-" She is twirling orange hair in her fingers, as she tries not to focus on it too much. "-so I guess it's like, really working out so far." She tried to be casual like Annalise. She respected her so much, she had to try.

"What about you? How is being the top Ranger in Hoenn? A dream come true?" Starry-eyes. Yup, she was in the Rangers for a long haul.

A text comes to her phone, as she quietly peers out her tiny, very miniscule studio balcony. Her hazel eyes light up. "One minute, handsome!" She calls from the fourth floor.

After five minutes of smacking her face in the mirror, she finally gets the look down; the drop dead gorgeous look she had wanted. Hair over one eye, the other hazel eye peering out, pouty lips, the works. She's trying to woo this boy, and as she makes a kissy face in the mirror, she's ready! She gives a hug towards Mr. Business, and gives a smile. "You'll be in your Pokeball for the night. It's okay." The Darmanitan is now patting the woman's shoulder.

And then.

She's out of her apartment. The complex is definitely not a fantastic one, but as she quietly descends the stairs, she's at the doorway. The luxury car, his suit, his hair, all of it paints this picture of a prince, and she can't feel any other way about it. She gives her practiced look, mocking a femme fatale-esque facial expression. How despite her four foot eleven frame, with two inches of heels propping her up, how she could easily subdue anyone.

With the walk, she has to make sure to take it slow or she'll trip up. Each step gets her a little closer. The butterflies are in her stomach. By time she reaches him, one manicured hand is on his chest, absolutely feeling the taller blonde's muscular chest, the other snatches his hand, adjusting it around her waist. "Wow. You know how to impress a girl, don't you?" The luxury car, the suit, the hair. Genny had to be sure to impress too! "Just coffee and dinner?"

There's a part of her that hopes for just a bit more. She's a gift he can unwrap to his leisure, after all, and she was giving him a look that told Elio her innermost thoughts. In all honesty though, she just hoped she could keep this up. She was trying really hard to impress him. She may not be the brightest, but she knows how to work it.

After work that Friday evening, her bathroom was now flooded with different makeup options. A bit of mascara, some blush, lip gloss, everything to make sure she looked her best. Genevieve didn't mind it, in fact it was a night she had to look her best. Her outfit was nice too. Heeled shoes that went up to the knees, a skinny ruffle dress with a cute skirt.

The amount of work she put into her appearance was important. She had to impress tonight. Failure is not an option, not for Genevieve Cromwell!

By the time she finishes, she continues to look herself over. She had her hair done before today, specifically for this date. Invisible layers. Sure, she's a little out of money and in debt, but she looked herself in the mirror, hazel eyes all over herself. "Wow..." She felt hot. Her face was red. She wasn't used to this.

As she waits for her date to pick her up at her apartment, she's texting a friend; annalise henderson gets a lovely message, tied with a photo of her own peace sign, a little text on it saying Hot date tonite; am I hot enough?

It was a hope for some small level of validation. She was so nervous, it would ease her nerves.

Now though, as she waits patiently, moving a hand through her hair, she gives a sigh. All thoughts on tonight. Would she be hot enough? She hoped. Arceus, she was trying. This was the first Hoenn date she's had, period, and her last boyfriend in Alola didn't last.

Manicured fingers trace over her phone. She could do this! Text me when you're outside, handsome! She smiles, sending the text right to Elio.

With hazel eyes now below her hand, looking out for potential rescues to be made, Genevieve finds one such; well, less a rescue, and more just someone to talk to. Accompanied by a jackal Pokemon, and she grins, bouncing in place now. "See, Mr. Business? We'll have company!"

This was not the kind of business Mr. Business was irritated with. In fact, he stares on, frustrated entirely at Genevieve's sunny-side up personality. This place was frozen hells, but the way she walks towards them with no care in the world...

That naivety would get her killed.

He follows on, as she waves from a distance. "Hey! You lost?" She'll take a conversation partner any day of the week! Besides, the last one was such a sweetheart! As she approaches, she calls out. "Cadet Cromwell, Pokemon Ranger! I'm here to assist you!" She's giving her trademark straight-postured salute.

She has no idea that this person is also a Ranger. Ah well.

This'll be fun.

The Charizard was so sweet and lovely, and though it's less about using the guy for his Pokemon, she's happy that he's so good-spirited about letting her warm up with him. His question, however, does give her pause. "Well... a few issues do come to mind. Aside from the bodies, I do feel this melancholic pressure everywhere."

She's admitting this, and what with all the Pokemon corpses frozen the way they were, she winces.

"Maybe it's just me? A lot of Ice Typed Pokemon swarmed in pretty quickly. Makes you wonder how they got here so fast." Or, that is, if this place just came into existence recently... or if an external force is at play.

She chooses to ignore the two Pokemon in the distance.

"What about you, Kaz?" It's a sweet nickname, but her sunny smile never faded.
