Dorian would come across a Magmar that was currently practicing her fire breathing. As Dorian observed her movements, he took notice to the fact that it seemed to be dancing in a rather familiar way. Though the show he saw all those years ago didn't involve firebreathing, it looked like the dance that some entertainers engaged in at that place his mentor took him when he arrived in Kanto all those years ago.

After a moment of reminiscing on what brought him here, Dorian finally left the Magmar alone to her practice.

Dorian's icy blue eyes burrowed deep into the group of hoodlums before him. As they brought out their Pokemon, which consisted of Koffings, Rattata, Ekans, and other such standard fair for Rockets, with the occasional evolution, Dorian stood his ground. These punks were obviously the bottom of the barrel in the organization, if they had ever been in the organization. People like him, who reveled in the lack of humanity that characterized Silas' leadership of Rocket. Unlike him, didn't truly respect the upper echelon, only being kept in line with fear.

Even though Silas was dead, and, to his knowledge, Rocket was disbanded, Dorian was going to teach them a lesson they would never forget. Silas' punishment for their foolishness.

"Lava Plume!", Dorian called out.

The Magmar raised up his arms, before summoning a column of fire into the warehouse. Soon, the flaming column would envelop the Pokemon brought out by the grunts, the sheer power of the attack consuming the various weak among the group, and gravely wounding those few strong enough to withstand the attack. The various punks, watching as their numbers advantage was burned away before them, all attempted to flee, their drunken anger and bravery giving way for sobering terror.

Dorian would 'casually' toss a Pokeball the way they were running, bringing out a violent-looking Emboar, who blocked their path, punching a fist into an open palm as a threatening gesture to the runts.

"I watched the Boss die, and with him, Rocket itself! I will not allow a group of punks like you to tarnish the memory of Team Rocket!", Dorian declared to them.

"W-who the fuck are you!?", the leader of the ragtag group of thugs asked Dorian, clearly terrified of the man.

"Me? I'm nobody now.", Dorian told them, before peeling off a patch of fake skin around his eye, revealing the hideous burn scar that marked the man out to the world. "But before the Death of Rocket, I was their Mad Dog.", Dorian told them, glowering at the group. "So to see you fools insult Team Rocket like this, to insult the memory of the Boss, is unforgivable!", Dorian barked out to the group.

notes: Here, have some intimidation on a massive scale.

Dorian watched the familiar looking man as he lit up a cigarette. Dorian, too, would pull out a cigarette, his Magmar letting out a quick puff of fire in order to light the cigarette for his master. "Thank you.", he'd tell Smoochie Duckie, taking a drag of the cigarette, looking to the black-haired man, and looking back to the warehouse that those punks held themselves up in. At this point, loud music was blaring from within the warehouse, a party was clearly going on.

Dorian finally made his move, marching over to the warehouse, the old Magmar trailing behind him as they made their way over. Dorian nodded to the Magmar, giving him permission to use Flamethrower in order to melt a hole in the warehouse wall. Those inside would not immediately notice one of the walls melting to form a hole, being too busy partying. Finally, one of the thugs would turn around and take notice to the fact that a hole was in the wall, and a figure in a top hat, wielding a sizable pipe, was on the other side.

"Who the fuck are you!?", the drunken thug asked the man, who marched in through the hole. By this time, the rest of the thugs had taken notice, fumbling for their Pokeballs, or whatever weapons they had on hand.

"Watch your language, boy!", Dorian reprimanded the boy. "I'm here because you boys claim to be Team Rocket. Is that true?", he'd ask.

"Yeah, and you just fucked up, old man!", the drunken thug blurted out, sending out a Golbat.

"That so?", Dorian asked him, his Magmar stepping out in front of him. "Because I can tell you right now, Rocket's dead!", he'd call out to the boy.

"You're gonna regret those words, freak!", the drunk bellowed out, the others sending out their own Pokemon.

Dorian laughs in the man's face as he mentions the Commissioner. "We've had her for roughly three months in our custody. I didn't even have Stormy for a day! And besides, if we really wanted the Commissioner dead, then why would we simply let you waltz out of Slateport after you fools tripped our blatant trap? We could've easily intercepted your path with as many Grunts as we needed, as you limped away with your tails between your legs!", Dorian taunted.

While Dorian's actions were far more heinous than anything Lars ever did, Dorian had to teach the man not to mess with Rocket. Killing him wouldn't do the job. No, he was going to make him live with the aftermath of this battle. He wanted this boy to remember what had gone down, and what was to come once Rocket recovered from its loss of their boss.

Dorian narrowed his eyes as the man whipped up a Sandstorm. The Mad Dog would immediately pull his goggles over his eyes, in order to protect himself from the Sandstorm coming in. From there, the two attacks he offered were intercepted, one with a Telekinetic barrier from the Metagross, and the other from a Rock Slide blocking off the Lava Plume.

As an Earthquake shook up the area, Flaming Lizzy quickly scooped up her master, allowing him to climb onto her back. Meanwhile, Smoochie Duckie would jump up into the air, before firing a Flamethrower from his bill, propelling himself off the ground, and protecting himself from the Earthquake shaking up the area.

"Smoochie, you gonna take that? Make the Flygon pay!", Dorian called out.

The Magmar would immediately unleash another Confuse Ray at the opposing Flygon, before bringing back Sunlight to the field. The Charizard would then fire off a burst of Dragon Rage at the Metagross, before following it up with an intense Flamethrower.

After the disaster in Verdanturf, as well as what played out in Fallabor, it seemed that Team Rocket was no more. Dorian, having barely managed to escape Verdanturf Town himself, made a scramble to gather what he could from their territory, before going underground. As far as the Mad Dog of Rocket knew, the failed power play was the end of Team Rocket, with Silas' life, as well as the freedom of several Rockets of various ranks, being the price they all paid in the end.

So why were these punks claiming to be Rocket, and making trouble for those moving back into Slateport? Dorian had heard the news that groups of delinquents were claiming to be with Team Rocket. All the while, they performed like any other group of street punks, rather than acting like proper Rockets. Wanting to get to the bottom of this, Dorian took a risk, and made his way back to Slateport, taking a massive risk in the process.

Dorian wasn't a complete fool, despite what his reputation might suggest. The Mad Dog would, as always, would disguise his scarred face with a combination of artificial skin, and makeup, over the burned bit of flesh. From there, the man, looking rather normal, and with a black wig covering his blonde mop of hair, would go on to gather information about the punks claiming to be Rocket. He would even pay witness to a mugging conducted by these so-called Rockets on a stall vendor, an opportunity that allowed him to stalk them back to their hideout, one of the abandoned warehouses that had yet to be touched by the League.

Armed with his information, Dorian would return upon sundown, garbed in his usual attire, albeit with his prominent scar still covered up. His favorite pipe was in hand, Smoochie Duckie by his side. But as he made his way over, he would spot someone coming towards the warehouse as well, a familiar face.

'What's he doing here!?', Dorian thought to himself, shocked at the man's presence.
