Sal and Sally had found another thing to focus their attention on: A fellow lizard Pokemon! Though it wasn't a Salandit nor a Salazzle like them - it was a slightly taller, mostly yellow one. Helioptile, right? Ivy hoped she remembered the correct name for this creature. What she was certain of at least was that it was skilled with Electro-Moves, so that could be useful for her..

And she needed a bigger team if she wanted to win against anyone, let alone a gym leader or the like. And what if she came across someone dubious, what with all these crazy events happening lately? Yep, it was decided then! This Helioptile would be hers - well, if she succeeded in catching it..!

A rustling sound caught Ivy's attention, and not only hers. Sal and Sally looked up, seeing the source of the noise moments before their trainer did. There, running away on it's tiny feet, was a Hatenna!

The wild Pokemon seemingly just wanted to get far, far away from the trio walking along the Route. The Salandits' fighting must have startled it, Ivy reckoned, remembering that Hatenna were said to be a very shy and easily startled species.

"Shh, Babies." Ivy looked to her two companions, bending down to pet them. After a few seconds she stood up again, ready to move on.

This month, Ivy started her adventure and headed from Rustboro City to Verdanturf Town. She met a couple of people, most notably being whom she agreed to meet again this october.

Also, she caught two new Pokemon: Sunny the Helioptile and Pewter the Mabosstiff.

No one had answered Ivy yet in the discord server she had found the other day. Perhaps she had been too hopeful thinking she could find a traveling partner in this random chatroom - and even if, would it be intelligent to meet up with someone like that? Whatever...

She figured she should just start her jorney on her own then. She couldn't wait for anyone else, she wanted to do this for herself. Having chosen to venture towards Verdanturf Town and then Mauville City, she began her jorney here, on Route 116. Not having a car and wanting to give her Pokemon chances to have a few wild battles, she was going there on foot, through the forest-y area that she had been to before many times. Back then she had not cared too much about the wild Pokemon hiding around her though. That had changed now.

Sal and Sally, her two Salandit, were running around, play-battling one another rather than any other Pokemon as of now. It was crazy to think that not too soon into the future Sally would be many times taller than little Sal. Sal who wouldn't be able to evolve into a Salazzle like Sally would. In Ivy's head, she always pictured the two of them as a unit, as twins even.

Oh, that explained why she looked so familiar. The Royal Galarian Ambassador?! Ivy would have thought such people had their private little team of health workers with them to help the Pokemon in their possession. Yet Miss Calcifet was here - curious.

"Is everything alright?" Ivy wasn't sure what else to say after this revelation. But maybe pretending to be nice even if it was awkward would be best? The atmosphere inside the Pokemon Center had gone cold almost in an instant, and both nervous as well as annoyed grumbles and whispers came from most if not all people present.

Ivy knew this person from somewhere, but she wasn't sure where from. Not someone she had met personally, that much she was convinced of, but moreso a person she maybe had seen on the news or in some media before..?

Either way, no matter who this was, she had no right to just barge in and run past everyone else waiting for the nurse's services. There probably were other Pokemon here that, too, were beat up, not just this one Polteageist.

Calm down..

Ivy didn't like getting so heated up by inconveniences. She sighed out, hoping to not look as agitated as she felt on the inside.

"Yeah, whatever, it's okay."

It was not okay, actually, but whoever this was was probably not someone to pick a fight with.

While the Polteageist was with the nurse, Ivy's gaze fell upon the Mismagius that this woman was carrying with her. Such a beautiful species, and to see it up close in person! If not for this bad introduction, Ivy might have asked to interact with the Pokemon.

She looked up to the trainer again, considering asking about her Mismagius. But she wasn't sure yet what type of response this could provoke.

Everybody here looked like they knew exactly where to go...
Like they just stopped by to quickly refresh all their Pokemon and then head straight to their next destination.

Ivy on the other hand was aimless. She wanted to get out of this place already - she had spent her entire life in Rustboro City! It was a great city to live in, but she was burned out on it now. Most of her friends had moved away to pursue their jobs or go to university. What kept her from going her own way, too?

"May I help you?" The nurse's question prompted Ivy to formulate some sort of request.

"Yes, yes, I- What should I take with me for my first real adventure to one of the Routes?"

That was a bit vague, she realized just after having said it.

"I mean, it's my first time going there with my Pokemon for the purpose of, you know, battling and training."  She pointed towards the two Pokeballs connected to her belt.
