"It's a new phone so it better work" he grumbles. The battery wouldn't die on him this time.[break][break]

Lucas scrolls to the farmer's contact and calls him. He picks up near immediately. "Hi sir we've got some sort of apple pie looking pokemon attacking the wooloos. Okay, see you then." [break][break]

It doesn't take long for the farmer to come, and when he did he came prepared. From over the hill with him came flapples holding water balloons, and in each hand he held spray bottles. [break][break]

"Take that ya little buggers!" From the two bottles the farmer sprays lemon juice at the applins. Tiny cries of agony fill the air as the lemon juice eats away at their sugary goodness. From on high the flapples drop lemon juice filled balloons down.[break][break]

The once peaceful hills were now lined with fallen appletuns. Several tried to flee but couldn't avoid the bombing.[break][break]

The hills became a war zone.

"Well yeah. Why would people care about stealing mareeps? They're a dime a dozen. But with the embargo lifted everyone wants a piece of the wooloo pie."[break][break]

Hard of hearing Lucas Lane doesn't hear the tiny screams and tiny war cries. "What do you mean? The pie thing is just a saying." Turning to look at the wooloos Lucas learns Bailey wasn't the idiot this time, but hims instead. This was a first. "Yeah I think so. Come on, lets go." [break][break]

Lucas Lane hurries as fast as his crippled legs and walking stick would allow. Which when in an area full of hills was as fast as Bailey's normal walking speed. [break][break]

Maybe positioning themselves far away from the wooloo herd wasn't' a great idea.

Ditto took on the shape of the first pokemon it saw, appletun! In toe it trots behind the appletun straight over to the pies. While appletun receives a traumatizing experience befitting a war its look alike doesn't. [break][break]

Going straight for the wide array of apple based pastries it gives into its newly found gluttonous nature. Crumbs line empty pastry tin after empty pastry tin as ditto taste tests the restaurants wide selection of apple products. Finally when it reaches the most delicious smelling apple pie ditto felt a twinge of guilt in its new apple pie based body. [break][break]

But that didn't stop it.[break][break]

Shoving its mouth into the apple pie onlookers witness a cruel appleton murder one of its own relatives, a freshly baked apple pie.

"Yeah yeah I know.[break][break]

He thought calling the wooloos mareep was a slip of the tongue earlier, but it appears not. "I don't know. Aren't wooloos usually this big? I think it's just because they haven't been sheered in a while." Catching Bailey's yawn Lucas tilts his head back and cover his gaping mouth with one hand.[break][break]

While the two shepherds yawn a herd of appletuns appear from behind a hill. They were out for blood.

"Yeah they really are."

Lucas Lane watches as one Wooloo wis sent flying after rolling over a bump going downhill. "Oh look at that one" he points at the flying wooloo. It looked like a baseball as flew through the air. When it finally hits the ground it does so without a hitch and keeps rolling.[break][break]

"You think it got hurt? Are we suppose to tell the farm in case of y'know, internal damages?"

Lucas' face flickers between a variety of emotions as Bailey neglects to specify which gas station they were at. Maybe Bailey really had gotten severe brain damage from falling off that cliff.[break][break]

"Well I uh, I guess so."

"Okay fine then. You at least have change for a pay phone right?" Lucas didn't carry any hard cash on himself. "We just need around two dollars to make a call." [break][break]

Although blackened from the fires he could make out what looked like a still functioning pay phone nearby.

Lucas releases a heavy exasperated sigh.[break][break]

"I'll call you later with the exterminator details." He saws before walking off the property. He could see the durants already tearing apart his garden. Even a few trapinch had joined in the fray. No doubt another bug driven there by none other than Bailey Cooper.

"Oh my god." Bailey never ceased to amaze Lucas in the worst of ways. He runs in toe with her out the blazing kitchen lest he get caught in the fire. [break][break]

"You think?" The lycanroc that'd been lying down by his door step rushes to greet the new neighbors. It joins the procession of durants. Taking over as the head of the procession it leads them straight to Lucas' garden to show them its favorite sleeping spot.[break][break]

"Well what am I gonna do? Now they're on my property." He winces at the sound of shattering glass as the blastoise attempts to put out the kitchen fire from outside.

Before Lucas could even finish tapping in the emergency number for the rangers his phone blinked off. "Oh come on, come on!" He tries to power on the phone to no avail. A dead battery symbol illuminated the screen. "Come on it was twenty percent five minutes ago." [break][break]

"Okay since my phone is dead you call the rangers."

"Huh?" Lucas couldn't believe how inconsiderate Bailey was. Before he could chastise the woman a fire broke out in her kitchen.[break][break]

"What the fuck?" He yells. "I don't have any balls on me. Where's your fire extinguisher?" He'd been expecting a quick visit when he agreed to come over. One that'd take less than five minutes and certainly wouldn't require a wide array of pokemon.

"Well if you're really sure." Lucas Lane gives up trying to convince Bailey of the potential dangers. Reaching into his pocket he retrieves and releases his ditto who immediately transforms into the blastoise.[break][break]

"Go on, blow the fire!" He shouts to the ditto. It looked at him with a confused expression on its face. "Spray, spray water! Like blastoise." He says his words slowly and points at the blastoise. Finally getting the idea the ditto fires a stream of water befitting a water fountain. It makes Lucas Lane audibly groan.[break][break]

"You know what? I'm just going to go ahead and call the rangers" he says in a defeated voice.

"Kinda, yeah." Lucas Lane tip toes back to put some distance between himself and blaziken. Lest it set the surrounding furniture on fire.[break][break]

"Okay well problem number one there. I don't have a fire pokemon per say. And problem number two." He holds up two fingers. "Won't the durants all run to my property unless we get an exterminator to help?"
