Well now today was quite the day wasn't it? He didn't think he would find such beautiful darlings today out in the wild. it was a playboy's dream! "ok, sorry to ruin your day fine hunnies BUT!" kaz was quick to throw out his more hunkish urshifu who took a stance against a few lopunny that it caught the attention of. some of them looked at it with sultry eyes while others looked ready to pounce for blood as they suddenly charged at the duo. as they did kaz took out a spare pokeball and tossed it into the crowd as his urshifu went wild with his fists flailing about among a storm of paddling ears.

Stuff around this whole lab just keeps getting stranger and stranger as a familiar face shows themselves to the gang and is bombarded with questions about what was going on and he gave a bunch of answers that kazimir wasn't sure what to do with. Still that left the rest of the room to explore and as he stepped down from the ladder he noticed one Locke Jamison looking into a dark room that seemed like it was celebrating a birthday inside. A bit strange to find something like that in this room.

"Who's birthday was it?" he asked to no one in particular as he walked past the room only to stop dead in his tracks as he heard a scream from within. Only one of them went on inside so that was not a good sign and much like Eris Halla he reached out into the dark room, "hold on! show them some birthday cake or something!" kaz yelled out as he took a few steps more and entered the darkness to try and pull the boy out of danger.

Finding strange pokemon in these spaces was part of their charm but finding girls in cosplay? Now that was a new one. "Pokemon, obviously. Pretty angry ones too!" Kaz reached into his jacket and pulled out a pokeball and threw it at the kleavor who got shocked as a samurott popped out and started to slash at them with a razor shell that went toe to toe with their axes. A few of them had the displeasure of the dieno going for their ankles as they swung too high to actually hit the little dinosaur.

Still it seemed like the two of them alone would just be enough to hold them off but his samurott managed to pick up the slack in a pinch as he started fighting off the whole bunch of them. "that should hold them for now but we better get going," Kazimir was quick to suddenly scoop the dragon girl into his arms and suddenly turn and run, "Kusanagi bring the little guy with ya!" He called out to his samurott who used a ceaseless edge to pepper the kleavor with sharp pieces of shell giving him enough space to pick up the dieno and follow kaz as fast as his flippers could carry him.

CRASH

a tree fell onto the road and quickly withered away once it touched the ground. stepping over its remains was a pair of kleavor that chased after the bulkish man as he sprinted as fast as his legs could carry him. all around him the world was covered in an eerie and mysterious shade of purple that looked otherworldly and rightfully so as this bubble was in reality another space time distortion that had been happening all around the region for some time now.

why were they happening was anyone's guess but they still needed investigating, so says the league, and doing so proved to be a difficult challenge in of itself. after all how do you handle pokemon that used to exist in the past now existing in the present and hunting you down? run of course.

that seemed to be the best course of action for kazimir wynter who found himself feeling like he aged about half a decade ever since coming into this distortion to look for people in trouble. how the tables have turned haven't they?

as the corviknight circles around a small diameter while kaz focuses on the ground below to make sure they don't miss anything he notices something out of the corner of his eye. leaves shooting upwards straight into the sky, clearly some kind of message just like his partner said he would. "c'mon! no time to waste!" he shouted as his metal bird turned towards the leaves and dived right under the treeline and the pair of them managed to come across aster's bellossom and himself with their missing biker. unfortunately it did seem like remus had a bad fall and a half like kazimir was afraid of.

"got some nurses of my own as well!" kazimir called out as his corviknight landed and kaz was quick to drop two pokeballs that spawned two blisseys that rushed over to remus. the two of them combined their efforts with a mix of a heal pulse and a soft-boiled egg to not only heal the man of his injuries but also ease any pain he was feeling.

"quite the mess we got here. you look like you either took a nasty fall or something attacked ya. can ya tell us what happened?" it was important to know how to properly take care of this guy. the second thing was finding a way to get him out of these woods. "and i'll call us an evac. carrying ya out of here ain't gonna be easy and you shouldn't be moving too much anyway." he stated as he pulled out his phone and started dialing.

"hey this is wynter. yeah we need some rescuing down in petalburg woods. keep and eye out for a corviknight," on cue his bird took to the sky to keep a loot out for their support.

"sorry about that. i tend to draw in trouble from time to time." kazimir apologized as he gave off a little bit of blush on his face as elizabeth mentioned how her walks were more on the peaceful side. sure there were a lot of dangerous pokemon out here in the deepest parts of the woods but he was sure that it was relatively safe route they were going. guess he was wrong.

still she was nice enough to answer his earlier question about certain flowers. gladiolus flowers. it certainly had the name of something that meant justice and victory. "i like it." kaz said with a smile as he watched the little squirtles bob in the water as they followed their mother into the center of the lake before diving under the water's surface to return to what would be their home growing up.

"well i think that's a job well done. again i feel like i should apologize for sort of dragging you into all of this. i appreciate your help but i feel kind of bad that we got attacked none the less. how about i escort ya back home?" he offered an apology both in words and with a smile before turning towards the pond and noticing all the pokemon that were just enjoying themselves and the scenery that surrounded them, "or we could just take a well earned break and enjoy the view here. never really knew how pretty these woods can be."

the liepard was blasted off of kazimir and it gave the blonde a chance to run over and grab his fallen pokeball and release its contents. out of the capsule came an urshifu as big as him and it took an aggressive stance as the feral cat circled around them and bared its fangs once more to try and intimidate the group despite the numbers advantage they had over it. as if to counter it the falinks went from protecting the little squirtles to standing in between them and the liepard to show no retreat on their part as they stood their ground ready to lay down their small bodies to protect their juniors.

"pretty ballsy to try and take us all on ain't it?" kaz asked as he dusted himself off and stood next to elizabeth, "think there's a flower for this kind of situation? or maybe at least a hard earned victory? might need a bouquet of them for later." with that kazimir snapped his fingers and his urshifu rushed forward with a wicked blow that sent the liepard flying backwards and into a tree. in addition the mama wartortle kept the liepard up against the tree with a water gun to douse it in furious raging rivers that only a mother could produce.

as his coffin opens kazimir finds himself spilling into a room full of people, some familiar like kyle lopez, Zac Ramsay, and even aster rousseau who he waves back at, and some not so familiar faces. as he dusts himself off he realizes that his belt was missing, meaning he was without pokemon in this room full of mysteries. "uh...anyone know what the heck is going on here?" a question that has been probably asked once or twice already.

as the people searched kazimir looked up at the ceiling full of eyes and felt the hairs on the back of his neck stand up. it was an unnerving sight and clued him in that something was probably watching them and maybe having a few laughs as everyone went about messing around with stuff. if he had a rock he would probably try and throw it at them but it seems like when someone was going around trying to touch them only for them to move out of the way and leave that person with a gooey hand.

as kaz looked around he noticed the ladder and the person who was using it to touch the eyes and hurried over to it, "hey! ya gonna let those eyeballs stare at ya some more or are ya gonna help us find a way out?" he called up to mint frost as he climbed the ladder as well and wedged himself to the side so that at least his massive frame didn't try to knock him off on purpose. "come here often?" he asked as he was eye level with the man and his blackened hand before he started to knock on the ceiling trapdoor above them to try and knock it open as he did his best to share a ladder with another person. was it smart? probably not, but even dumb ideas could work too!

kazimir takes the crystal at the same time he takes out a pokeball at the mention of trying to get a view from up high so they can expand their search. he looks over the crystal and holds it up to let it shine in the sun as he releases a corviknight from its slumber inside its capsule, "you sure are into that spiritual kind of stuff aren't ya? well if this works like ya say it does," he grips the crystal in his hand and focuses his thoughts into finding their missing biker, "then let's hope it works out all ok for us and him."

stashing the crystal away he hops onto his corviknight and with a kick of his heels sends the bird up into the air on command as the two scan the forest floor below them as it grows farther and farther. "we'll also check up the bank as well, might as well cover as much ground as we can! try to send a signal if you find him and we'll be over ya in a flash!" kazimir calls out to aster as his corviknight turns the other way and speeds off with kazimir barely hanging on.

as the two of them searched the banks upstream it seemed like nothing was out of the ordinary, just pokemon gathering around the water to try and get a drink and causing a ruckus with one another. from above the only thing that they could see was flocks of birds leaving their nests for their next hunts. coming up on empty with clues he wondered if aster was having any better luck than he was.

"kinda familiar with it. i don't come to these woods very often but i like to think i've been here enough to get a general direction of things." he responded to her question about if he was sure he was heading in the right direction. like her he was pretty sure that on their current path that they would reach the largest pond in the woods so the task at hand should be simple enough. at least that was the hope.

"water lilies huh? i take it your a bit of a flower expert? never really fancied the kinda...dang what was it that they called it? something about the language of flowers?" it was on the tip of his tongue but he couldn't quite place it. his mind wandered too far into trying to think of an answer he wasn't aware of something moving in the shadows until it burst forward and knocked over the wartotle mother onto her shell. luckily his falinks were quick to throw up protects all around themselves and their charges as the beast in the shadows revealed itself to be a liepard with a hungry look in her eyes.

"oh damn! get back! go do-" as kazimir held up a pokeball the liepard's glare switched from eyeing the quivering squirtles to kazimir in and instant as it darted past them and jumped up at the blond giant who's eyes went wide as he fell back first onto the ground letting his pokeball roll away from him as the liepard bared her fangs in his face. was it hungry for more tender meat? or did it sense the danger he was about to throw out? either way..."oh man liepard breath stinks!"
