"can you blame someone wanting to make sure people are safe is a little suspicious of a stranger, especially one in a very nice costume." there was some irony in him saying that, he could empathize with her want to make sure people were safe. given recent things he's heard however it feels like a mask could be over anyone nowadays and during times like these he couldn't take any chances. so she would be on his radar, of course with a building suddenly bursting into flames that would be moved down the priority list as he ran over to the flaming building and saw a strange pokemon emerge from it carrying a child and running off with it.

"what they-jolly roger! try to cut it off! you too firepaw!" throwing out a pokeball out came his arcanine who raced after the silvally and its entourage racing forward with extreme speed to cut them off. "jolly roger! knock them overboard!" the blastoise while running on its stubby legs tumbled forward tucking its shell in to rapidly spin into the kommo-o to try and knock it down as kaz was right behind his two pokemon running up from behind to throw himself onto the zarude.

as the bell rung kazimir quickly wrote down his own number and slid it on over to her with a smile. "i may not be an investor but maybe a nice endorsement is something i can help you with. might be the newbie of the elite four but i like to make a few cannonballs here and there. think about it?" with that he left with a wink as he stood up and sauntered off to the next table for waiting for him.

"oh yeah, i get what you mean. meeting new people can be pretty fun." was it fun if they were meeting for business though? when she mentioned it it brought back a question he was asked when he first came here. "hey if you don't mind me asking but what kind of business do ya think you can get outta this speed date thing? looking for some investors or something?" if buttering up people with money wouldn't work then charm was the next best thing...right?

"hey i know the feeling, kinda met a few friends here that i was surprised to see. heck one of them is even married!" he adds a chuckle as he thinks back to meeting skyler dross of all people at this. perhaps they were looking for an open sort of thing with her and her husband's marriage? it was possible...but they seem like the type to just mess around people like that.

as for what he was looking for...well now that was a question wasn't it? "right to the point huh? well...i guess i am kinda looking for some company. of the personal kind." he didn't want to outright say what he was looking for but...he should be honest in some kind of form if he was asked nicely. "what about you? you looking for a future someone or the like?"

"y'know your kinda cute." kazimir quickly shut his mouth as the words escaped his lips as he sat down at his table. never before had he really complimented anyone outside of one or two people at this event. it felt a little...odd to to it first instead of a response. maybe he was just getting too into the whole event.

"ah, sorry. hope that didn't come out weird its just...been meeting a lot of nice looking folks here and its hard to not compliment a few of them. guess your one of the lucky ones." he tries to turn his shaken up face into a smile to try and save it. he was here to meet people after all, he had to remember that being a little forward wasn't too out of the ordinary for a few folks and he wanted to be a part of that very "few".

"nice to meet a fan." he gave her a smile as he took her hand and sat down with his buzzwole right next to him, the large ultra beast eyeing the tiny little baby tucked under her arm. the larger than life comparisons just kept coming in different forms didn't they?

"liking it pretty good so far. met a few people i wouldn't mind meeting outside of this place if i'm being honest. even met a few friends wanting to have fun around here too. small world am i right? speaking of..." he leans with a smile, "so you got any questions for this elite four member? ya seem pretty excited and like i said, always nice to meet a fan."

"hey its good to get out of that comfort zone once in a while y'know." he adds a smile to his words as he takes a sip out of his water bottle while looking the girl over with his eyes resting on her hands stroking her pokemon. they seemed to move slowly, almost as if she was taking her time with it. maybe because she was thinking of what to say? kazimir could understand that as he had the same problem during this whole speed dating thing. "but i can get why its a bit much on the nerves. ya never know if your gonna find that special someone in something like this huh? doesn't even feel like the kind of thing a special someone would even come to but...hey you can at least make some new friends right?"

"name's kazimir wynter. nice to meet you." he introduced himself while sitting down at the table as another round of dates was about to begin. he had gotten a bit used to it by now as he found himself lined up with a few more. it felt like each one was getting shorter and shorter, a shame too because there were a few that he wouldn't mind spending more time talking with. was this person going to be just like that? she was cute enough to chat up if he was into that sort of thing to be honest. "you kinda look like a first timer around here, nervous? i know i am a little bit."

as if on cue the bell rung signaling it was time for the pair to break up and find new partners. easily the hardest part of a break up right? "well in that case let me leave ya with my own parting gift." as he snatched up the number he took a separate card and wrote down his own number before passing it over as he rose to his feet. "also if your just looking for a workout buddy, i'm available for a few lessons too. i know i look big but i know a thing or two about cardio i'll have ya know." he mentioned with a wink as he went on his way.

the smile on his face morphed into a grin as he sat straight up and crossed his arms, "yeah remember at the sea temple? you're looking at one of hoenn's newest elite four members." if he could sparkle he would, or at the very lease glisten with sweat while posing for that supposed body pillow.

"comes with quite a few perks too, heck if you want i could even endorse you and your fugger husband's business...then again i don't know how it would look if one of hoenn's top trainers was in full support of piracy. not that i do any better." he chuckles as the timer goes off for their date to come to an end earning it a bit of a scowl from kazimir before his face popped back to its usual smiling self.

"damn, guess that's it for us. but hey let's talk more latter. definitely looking forward for another spar sometime soon. we'll make a date out of it." with that promise he adds a wink to seal the deal.

"oh wow didn't know that. when did that happen?" its been a while since he even actually saw another urshifu around hoenn so knowing that one was owned by skyler of all people sounded like it would be a lot of fun to see. "wouldn't mind seeing it, and testing it out. my own urshifu's and me have been doing some training lately and i don't wanna brag but i think we're one of hoenn's top duos if i do say so myself. maybe we should have another round of wrestling to see which one is tougher. sound good to you?"
