"wait that's a myth? dang, luckily i haven't had the chance to rely on that old rumor." although whenever he's gotten lost before kazimir usually had a flying type pokemon to get him into the air and back on track. here it seemed like such a tactic wasn't something that everyone followed like him. the trick about leaving markings behind was a pretty handy trick he would have to make sure to remember when he could, how he never thought about it before was kind of embarrassing considering kaz was an outdoors type himself. guess he had lots of luck not getting lost.

"name's kazimir. and star sign eh? huh never really gave a lot of thought about that stuff but..." he looked up to the sky as if there were some imaginary stars above them as he tried to dig into his brain for an answer. "uh...i think last i checked it was saggitarius. yeah i think that was it. how about you-" he stopped mid sentence when they found themselves at the shore of a river and kazimir noticed that the tracks were heading into the water instead of along it like the guy said was a good idea.

"uh...what's...that..." kazimir himself went down to the river and slowly took steps into it as he noticed something in the water and reached in only to pull out a shoe that was completely drenched. "um...i think this belongs to our guy. this doesn't look good does it?"

a missing person case was something kazimir was a bit hesitant to take up on because there was still one or two people missing that he still didn't want to give up on yet at the same time he made little to no headway in finding them. still the fact that someone else was still missing didn't mean he was going to not help find them. he just didn't want to this to take forever and make sure that he could find them before something else happened to them.

lucky for him having a lucario around made the search a bit easier as while finding the person's aura was a bit tough with all the life teeming in the woods the pokemon could still sniff out tracks on the physical plane as well. had to cover all their bases. of course that meant that having some help with them was greatly appreciated as someone approached from behind the pair with a smile on their face and a breloom at their side. "i'll take your word for it! don't get out here to these parts of the woods anyway!" kaz responded with a wave and a smile as he and his lucario joined up with their other party member.

"take it you haven't had any luck in finding remus? i think we were onto some tracks of his but them they got mixed up with a bunch of other tracks from different pokemon around here. far as we can tell it didn't seem like he was being followed by anything so that's good...for now." he scratched the back of his head as he looked around to try and see if there was anything he could see with the naked eye that could put them back on the trail of this biker. nothing caught his attention at the slightest. "really wish we had a map of this place, i swear some places look way to similar for comfort. would really suck getting ourselves lost in here."

as kazimir towered over the line of squirtles he couldn't help but notice something was a little off about his group yet couldn't place what it was until he started to count them all out. "one two three four five...uh...think we're missing one of them." the mama wartortle seemed to have the same feeling as he did as she looked over her litter and her face started to show bits of panic as she looked up and down their path to try and spot the missing baby. luckily for them someone seemed to have come to their own rescue in the form of a trio of beauties coming down their way with the missing baby in their hands.

kaz let out a sigh of relief as he walked up to them, his towering form becoming more obvious that he was a redwood of a man as he approached the other trainer. "oh man thank you for finding him. the little guy must have slipped under our noses when we looked away for a second. for a couple of squirtles they sure can move when they want to even out of the water." he took the little baby into his hands and held it up in his own and gave it a small scowl before holding it close to his chest where it looked like it was almost squished against it.

he couldn't help but raise an eyebrow at the offer to help, sure he was looking for some but from how long he's been here something must have come up with the help that was supposed to join up with him. in that case if someone was offering then he might as well take them up on it, he could use the help. "if that's no real trouble for you. we just gotta help these guys get to a nearby pond safe and sound. but as ya can see they will get away from you if you take your eyes off of them, and that's not even including the mons out here that can step on them by accident...or on purpose. name's kazimir by the way, and nice to meet you elizabeth. just follow my falinks and they'll lead the way to our goal."

from the bushes out came a grovyle running right at kazimir and from within his bag he threw out a ball that erupted into a charizard that barreled forward with its claws ready to tear into the grassy lizard. it was smaller and quicker than the dragon however and managed to duck under its arm and jump over kazimir who got clipped by its feet striking across his face and sending him rolling onto his back. "gah fuc-!" he growled as he quickly rolled to his stomach and pushed himself off the ground to see the grovyle standing in the middle of his camp staring him and the charizard down.

"ok tough guy, ya looking for a fight then..." it took one gesture from his hand to signal the charizard of his to unleash a tongue of flame to lick at the grass type who just managed to escape with its long flowing leaf being singed in the process. "blind them and flank them scorcher!" kaz called out to his charizard who spewed a black cloud of smoke from its mouth that covered the camp all around them and the grovyle who only made their defensive stance more rigid as they took small steps backward to get out of here to live to fight another day.

kazimir wasn't going to let that happen as he came up from behind them and sweep their leg with his own to send them flat on their back where the smoke cleared up as a charizard landed on top of them bottoms first. kazimir couldn't help but wince at the sight of it as he was familiar with being crushed under someone twice your weight and while he had all the sympathies for the grovyle he still took out a pokeball and threw it at the twitching mess as his charizard lifted itself off of its victim and watched as the ball hit it in the head and sucked it up in a bright light.

"c'moooon. there ya go little guy. just follow the falinks and you'll be good." kazimir and his falinks helped lead a small pod of young squirtle walk through the forest after they got turned around while on their way to the local pond for a nice swim and meeting their mother wartotle without worrying her. it wasn't too hard to keep an eye on them but getting younglings to follow directions was surprisingly difficult even with the help of five additional hands (or lack of) to help him in the form of the small army of lil' busters that marched alongside the young turtles.

as long as they were moving then the little water turtles would follow the fighting type army which while good on paper went wrong the moment they stopped to catch a breather. the little turtles would be quick on their feet to scamper away and try to explore their surroundings despite how dangerous they could be. luckily for kazimir he was expecting some help to give him a hand with these babies, the only question was what was taking them so long?

light shone in through the mesh windows of the tent and hit kazimir square in the face that managed to pull him out of his sleep and squirm around in his sleeping bag as he sat up and rubbed his eye to get the crust and sunlight out of them. "another good morning huh? man that was the best sleep i've had in weeks..."

after everything that happened a trip out to the woods and spending a night or two out camping sounded like the perfect distraction for himself. it was working for the most part as keeping his mind focused on prepping some breakfast with some dried meal packets and boiling some river water he found was how he spent the last two mornings and today he felt like treating himself since it was the last day of his trip. "might as well make it memorable." he mumbled to himself as he slipped into some warmer clothes to combat the morning chill.

as his water began to boil he reached into his bag to grab the breakfast packets he had left when the sound of a snap made him freeze up. his eyes looked over to the bushes that were next to him and his head followed them as he looked up to try and spot what it was that was close to him and his camp. as he did he slowly reached down into his backpack and slid a hand over the packets he was looking for and griped one of his pokeballs just in case things got...messy.

"there's a place called jagged pass near lavaridge that could be a very good place but i warn ya, it is pretty jagged hence the name." as he got himself lost in thought about over places that were good for hikes the bell to signal their time was up started to ring and kazimir was quick to grab a blank card and write down a number for him to hand over with a smile.

"looks like that's all for now but if you ever want a few more places to hike around give me a call. i know some pretty good ones that might just be one heck of a workout for you if your interested. heck i just remembered that meteor falls is a good place to go around on the outside, the path is much smoother and there's a few of them you can even follow that head inside the caves, it'll be fun!"

so it was in sootopolis was it? the news about it almost brought down kazimir's smile until he thought about it, it would just be another reason for him to wrest control of the city back from team rocket. no way he could let a baker and her work place be used up by the likes of them now could he?

"that's probably a smart thing to do. I don't know how they're running things over there but i don't exactly trust rocket to run a ship that's fair. our times up but for what its worth i'm sure you'll be able to find a silver lining in all of this, or rather...silver..icing? icing on a optimistic cake? geez now i'm craving for a cupcake, you wouldn't happen to have any on ya as a parting gift do ya?" he was joking for the most part as his stomach growled but he covered it up with a bit of laughter to lighten the mood as the bell rung for their time to end.

"well i like to explore a little bit myself. always good to live an active lifestyle y'know." that was something that they shared in common aside from contests but kazimir wouldn't count himself as someone who goes participating them frequently. then again he did do pretty well in a handful of them so maybe that was an idea he could try out again.

as for other hobbies well...he had one other but if this person didn't recognize him he felt like he should hold off saying that he liked to play vigilante around the region. the name of pokkenger was bound to become known sooner or later anyway what with him spilling the beans already.

"well like i said i'm kinda active, when i say i explore the region i usually go out on long hikes around the landscapes. there's some pretty cool vistas to see if you don't mind sweating and maybe putting your life in a bit of peril. other than that i do spend time at the gym, if it wasn't obvious, and uh...oh i also do a bit of pro wrestling on the side. fun stuff."
