The man proceeded to call his team back and advance towards the defeated duo. He proceeded to hand the two of them towels.[break][break]

"I'm surprised you didn't decide to use something of equivalent strength when I pulled them out Laurence. The Malamar was a good idea though, except you focused too much on trying to put my creatures to sleep. You could've gotten an advantage if you had kept on pushing." With a pat on his shoulder, the man left the duo and proceeded to the next battle area.

A little bird told Balder his next opponent was extremely drunk all day. Thus, the challenge was raised: Let's make him sober. And the best venue for this? UNDERWATER BATTLE! Of course, the humans can't hold their breaths for that long, but they can work something out while their pokemons would fight under the sea. Thus, in preparations for this, Balder waited on the side of the beach as he whore his red swimming trunks and sleeveless red vest, a Seadoo to bring him and his opponent to the battlefield.

Why was Pokkenger there? When his true identity was Kazimir, standing on the other side of the room? To add to this, he had saved Bailey, making the joke of Hoenn News Network be even more real. And the Master of the dojo knew of him... This was extremely suspicious. And Kazimir had almost let it slip that he was the actual Pokkenger.[break][break]

His confusion did depict that he wasn't aware of anything regarding this. "Kazimir, back up. This man's an imposter, and there's no telling who he is and what he can do." Nothing good was coming from this meeting for sure. Who was the man wearing Kazimir's suit and what were his intentions?

Sadly for them, the Dream Eater was enough of a trigger to wake the cat up. And that was not a good wake up call. Zeraora was mad about this. This would not go unpunished, and the punishment was already starting, as the fists of the cat with covered with blue lightning. The creature lunged forward, aiming to provide a 1-2 combo on the ghost with his Plasma Fist[break][break]

From the Heatran's side, the lava creature stood headstrong against the Superpower displayed by the Malamar. The damage was real, the hits stung... Yet he couldn't falter, not after the cat had gotten back up and was already dishing a beating to the Gengar. Thus... Counter-attack time! The front legs of the Heatran slammed the ground, unleashing another Magma Storm right from under the close-by Malamar.

The Honor Badge... A badge he had never heard of. But the test that Hideo described... That was worrisome. Why would there be an assassination objective for a Gym Challenge? That sounded like a Rocket training in disguise, if anything. Hell, why would you expose kids to this form of challenge? Something to bring up to Dahlia it seems.[break][break]

"Just one huh... Well, with the prowess you've shown today, I'd wager you'd be able to get a few more already. Here." Balder grabbed something from his pocket and placed it in the kid's hand. "Totem Badge. It's not worth anything anymore, but back when I was a gym leader, it was the Badge I owned. While it gives you no benefit, it does show that you have my support, which few have."[break][break]

Then, the blind child asked what badge the Bodyguard had accumulated. "Hmmm... Officially, 2 badges. Something I'm slowly working on. But as you've felt, the amount of badges are not representative of one's strength. It's possible for someone with no badge to be stronger then the official Champion."

The man let go of the red head's hand and looked at the terrain. "Yeah, a clash of titans... That definitely left its mark on the land. Gotta fix that."[break][break]

The Alolan summoned a shiny Palossand on the field, who proceeded to work its magic, fixing the area of churned soil and sand. After only a few minutes, it was now back to the regular and pristine look know to the Slateport beach. "Nice work Castle. Zac, I'll be taking my leave now, but we gotta get a drink together next time. Or I'll give a visit to your gym."

The opponent's trainer was visibly at its wits end, unable to decide what to do. And it seemed like the Tropius was trying to rampage by itself now. "Geo, stop." Before the Alolan Golem could proceed with a combo, the order to stop surged, surprising the creature. "Come back here."[break][break]

The Alolan Golem sighed and rolled back to Balder's side. The man then looked at Locke. "Normally, the moment a trainer loses control of their pokemon, it would indicate their loss. And I don't think you wish for this to continue. So I'll let you decide on what happens here, to either stop this fight now, or push further."

The Ferrothorn was now defeated. By the one attack it was resistant to. That almost felt... Anti-climatic in a way. But after all of this assault, it was understandable for it to collapse. The Typhlosion roared in victory before suddenly losing its footing. It caught itself back up, but it seems like the damage of the battle was now catching up.[break][break]

Balder called the creature back and advanced towards the blind kid. "A worthy goal, endeavor even. Maybe you'd be able to trash kyle lopez easily in a fight, given more training and the appropriate team for it." The man gently patted the head of the blind kid and looked at the rotom-dex. "STELLA, TAKE TO THE SKIES!" As the Steelix faltered and lost the contest of strength, the Celesteela moved its arms to grab the steel snake before orienting her thrusters towards the ground, taking flight with the snake. "DESCEND SLOWLY NOW, DON'T LET IT FALL!".[break][break]

Stella nodded as it slowly descended back to the ground, gently dropping steelix on the ground. With this sudden rise to the sky and slow descent, they avoided damage to the area, as well as hurting the spectators, or even Zac himself. Balder sighed and called the Celesteela back in his pokeball. "Seems like it's our win Zac."

Giga Drain? That was the last drop. It literally drank only one 1hp as the Alolan Marowak collapsed to the ground. Defeated, unconscious. Balder called the creature back, taking a new pokeball right away. "Well now, you definitely are a better fighter then I recall. Let's see how things roll against him now."[break][break]

Two flashes of light, one absorbing the Marowak whilst the other released a Dusknoir. "Shadow Punch". Barely emerged from its spherical restraints was the pokemon going forward, a fist covered in darkness as it tried to smash the teapot into the ground.
