As the fissure closed and the ground shook, the Mega Camerupt held on, stabilizing itself. It wasn't a strong magnitude, but it still dealt a small amount of damage. "Time to retaliate, Vulcan." Seriously? Starting the battle with a Fissure? That's a bold battle opener. That move would've struck, if not for Vulcan stepping to the side due to his Amnesia. Instead, the fissure opened under Balder's legs, forcing him to move from his current spot. "Dude be careful, that's dangerous to use out in the public like that!"[break][break]

Seeing his master side-jump to avoid the fissure, the walking volcano remembered what they were here for... And glared in anger at the other Camerupt. This assault would not go unpunished. Seeing his pokemon's anger, the Alolan sighed. "Alright Vulcan, we're doing it your way. Time to go a level beyond."[break][break]

Mega Evolution happened. The two small volcanoes become a giant one. The Mega Camerupt roared as it slammed the ground, deciding to open the fight with an Eruption to teach some manners to the other one.

Seems like the kids of this generation really had some backbone to them. First, the kid from the war ( Andy Blackadder ) and now this one, Hideo. Froppy, you're opening the bal. Show them your ninja skills." As the pokemons took place, Balder handed the baton to Greninja.[break][break]

However, he now had an advantage due to this, giving it the power to Smack Down one of the Celesteela's reactors. The creature's flight began to go awry.[break][break]

As the celesteela's flight derailed, going side-ways, upwards, downwards and more, a single word came from Balder's side. "Gravity." The pokemon didn't know the move "Gravity", but it knew the meaning of the word, and how to make use of it. re-establishing its flight as best as possible, the Celesteela proceeded to descend towards the ground with the Steelix, hoping to Heavy Slam the metal snake into the ground.

"If I didn't know better, I'd say you're afraid of the challenge the beast could pose for you. But no, he's not fighting this time." The Celesteela floated back down to the ground, the sand being pushed from under them until the landing was completed. The Alolan disembarked to be able to stand in front of Fernando, slightly towering over him.[break][break]

"I got a few flying pokemons available for this challenge. Just waiting on your signal so we can take to the skies with the proper team." The man reached for a pokeball in his back, containing a trustworthy pokemon for this kind of Endeavor.

In the mean time, the Celesteela returned near him, following the light the man emitted.[break][break]

Suddenly, a figure emerged from the haze, lunging at the alolan... with a knife. Slight issue with this idea is that... Steel against Steel, tempered to the level he was... Doesn't give the expected result. The weapon would bounce, as if hitting the strongest of shields. And its owner would be instantly met with a fist coated with the brightest and hottest light he could bring, possibly inflicting a BURN to the man's face. "Pokkenger, focus on assisting the councilman. Be the hero you were meant to be."[break][break]

"Stella, block the gate for me and disorient them." continued the Alolan as he advanced a few steps. The Celesteela moved to block the door with its gigantic body before unleashing Metal Sound from its maw, to weaken and disorient the enemies. "Other League members, now's a good time for you all to clear the vicinity. I'll be fine here."[break][break]

The assault from a Grimmsnarl came as soon as he finished his words. In reply, the man only raised the arm with his Shieldon equipped upon. The creature emitted a sinister growl before absorbing the light from Balder's Arm and unleashing a dark, light-absorbing Protect to block the assault. "Fye."[break][break]

The Togekiss emerged from behind the man and his pokemon, looking for a target. Seeing the Audino prepare a Shadow Ball, the flying fairy decided to unleash pain upon it. At the tip of its wing, an orange-colored sphere manifested itself, before being flicked towards the creature. An old classic: the Aura Sphere from above.

Something smaller and weaker? Heh... Balder smirked. Just as calculated. It seemed like they forgot that Zeraora wasn't just a regular pokemon: it was still mythical in nature, for many reasons. One of them being it's speed being quite high. And thus, as the Gengar emerged from the shadows to try and strike at the cat, all it struck was.. fur flying in the wind.[break][break]

Using its Agility, the cat moved out of the way, ending up behind the duo and keeping them at bay between it and the Heatran. "Feels like you were underestimating my little cat, folks. Hope you don't end up regretting it." And upon these words, both the Zeraora and Heatran roared in unisson.[break][break]

The magma-related Legendary, unaffected by the Hypnosis attempted from the Malamar, stomped the ground once more with its forelegs as it exhaled a massive breath of hot air, forcing a massive Heat Wave towards the opponents. Now, how would they react to this pincer formation?

"I'd say its taste is kind of... out of this world." The man unplugged his ears, just in time to hear and witness the Steelix bringing the Celesteela into the ground... Or did he? As the snake tried to burrow itself with the starship, said space ship decided to activate its boosters, at full throttle[break][break]

At first, both were caught in a stalemate. But slowly, Celesteela began to rise up from the ground. As a certain professor in a game would say in this situation: Ground type moves are ineffective against flying types. But this one... Wasn't even due to typing. Stella was defiant and hated being confined into something like the ground. Even the special pokeball it had needed a special interior for it.[break][break]

Thus, the Steel Giant took flight, hopefully bringing the snake along for the ride. Once they were a few feet up in the air, the Celesteela decided to unleash a Flash Cannon to send the Steelix back to the ground. Would this suffice though?
