The Typhlosion specie was known as one of the fastest within the fire species, equaling the speed of the more widely-spread Charizard. Thus, dodging an attack from a slow creature like Ferrothorn, it should be easy, right? Sadly, being bulkier and taller than its others species-mate, Ash was also slower.[break][break]

Plus... it wasn't her style to back down from a challenge. As the metal creature was spinning and charging in, the volcano pokemon instead lunged forward, using its claws to try and grab the Ferrothorn and keep it in place. Balder sighed as he saw his pokemon act, but that was fine. The idea wasn't bad, but it was reckless, as was tradition from it.[break][break]

Tanking the damage dealt by the Gyro Ball, the Typhlosion's flames on its back began to shine brighter and stronger. An attack was coming. "Kid, it was a bold move to go up close and personal. Especially since your flying tool gave you a run-through of my pokemon's moves. But in a battle, in a war, it's not just the moves that do a difference: it's how they are applied. How far you and your pokemon are willing to go. Melt it away, Ash."[break][break]

The Typhlosion's maw opened, releasing an intense heat and light before a surge of Lava Plume gushed out to attempt to drown the Ferrothorn and deal as much damage as possible. The usage of Eruption could've been a better option, if Gyro Ball hadn't dealt its fair share of damage to the bipedal creature.[break]

The Royal and the Alolan fought the bloody war. A forgotten history that none would be able to share. Let it be known, however, that it was a legendary battle![break][break]

As the dust subsides and the Lycanrocs laid defeated around them, Balder called his team back into their spherical restraints. "Ok so we handled this crisis, but we're still nowhere close to understanding why this happened." The man put one knee on the ground, near an unconscious Midnight Lycanroc, inspecting the body.[break][break]

"Regarding the events with Isra... Well I can say even during our Ultra Space trip, she acted weird. While we were fleeing for our lives, she almost went on all fours to collect the remains of other humans and pokemons that the Megalopolans left after their meal. But I have no idea what she did afterwards, nor where she went." Is that enough information for the royalty? Hard to tell. But there was nothing else he could provide to him...

The ice horse was laying in a corner of the location, keeping a cold gaze upon anyone that would venture close. A cold sight that fixated onto the lady that was coming towards them. That the alolan man hadn't noticed yet. The horse was slowly considering getting in her way, but the mention of his owner's name made it understand it was not an enemy.[break][break]

Upon hearing his name, the alolan bodyguard turned his attention from the dirt mound that held the carrot seeds within. A beautiful dark-haired woman had sown up, and calling him by name even. Yet.... He couldn't identify her properly. She felt familiar though. Nonetheless, leaving her handing for an answer and being rude would be sad.[break][break]

The man stood up and turned to face the lady, offering a gentle smile. "Well, the coldness comes from guy laying over there. My guard horse, you could say." He gestured at the Glastrier laying down away from them. "Helps keep the other pokemons away. A sort of natural repel, if you would."[break][break]

Observing her features and her silhouette, the man kept trying to identify her. But... to no avail. Head tilted slightly to the right, he decided to ask. "Might I ask how you know me? Or when we met? You do feel familiar, but I can't seem to recall such a beautiful lady like you, which saddens me."

And just as predicted, another creature showed up following the exorcising of the Duskull. But this time... It was a Banette. Still covered with some dirt. Did someone bury a doll in this graveyard or something? That was... an odd phenomenon. Something that would be worth studying. For the scientists at least.[break][break]

But the priority was to prevent a disastrous situation right here. To make sure the creature doesn't disturb the carrots. "Glacier. Keep this one alive though. Could be interesting." The Frozen Horse nodded as it advanced towards the walking puppet.[break][break]

The chill proceeded to spread around them, making the Banette slowly back away. The horse kept advancing menacingly... Until Balder lobed a Pokeball at the ghost pokemon, catching it hopefully so that the hose can strop threatening it with it's presence. "Alright, let's pack it up. We'll come back later this week."

"It's specie is Celesteela, but you can just call it Stella." said the man as the started stretching. "Also, you can just do as usual, it's not the whole unit that will fly out. I'm using only one of the reactors." As the gym leader began to prepare for the events by calling for a change of plan, Balder the goggles upon his eyes and removed his jacket, placing it on the Celesteela's front.[break][break]

"Stella, move into the woods so that you don't scare the passersby. I doubt Alexei will be able to control the crowd that would be formed." The metal giant nodded and slowly hovered towards the woods, taking cover from the now starting rain and leaving his arm/reactor to Balder. He also proceeded to place an earbud on his ear and equip his gloves.[break][break]

"Control, this is Kaguya-01, can you read me? I'm ready for departure in these winds you made. Hope you're ready to see the Silver Surfer in action. Over." Hopefully Alexei would get the call and understand that Balder is ready to proceed. What baffled him, however, is the use of a Charizard in such a heavy storm. At least the man was flying it on the other side. Which meant.... Beyond the clouds was their target right?[break][break]

The wind was now picking up, blowing haphazardly. "Not making this easy huh... Alright then." Balder proceeded to place his feet on the stick that formed the reactor. Flames erupted from the end of it, signaling the Ignition. "Balder Schwartz, Kaguya-01, taking off!" Upon these words, the man lifted his surfing board upwards so that the flames of the reactor could propel him skywards. The man was crouching and holding onto the pillar with one hand, reducing the aerial resistance. The best way out of this storm was to brute force it, using the strong force of the reactor to pierce through as quickly as possible. But would the elements allow this?

The combo definitely did some damage to the Heatran and had him weakened. But... that also led to him being angry. He was now visibly annoyed for being used as a simple target, by a lowly sketch pokemon. The creature was now seeing red and he wanted vengeance. "Oh for fuck sake..."[break][break]

Balder proceeded to quickly remove his jacket and shirt as the Heatran began charging towards Stormy and her Smeargle. "INFERNO, ENOUGH!" The creature was charging an Iron Head as Balder proceeded to step between them, grabbing the legendary monster and stopping him in his charge. But the Heatran wasn't letting go.[break][break]

"I. Said. STOP!" Suddenly, Balder's fist began covered in flames as he slammed it into the creature's back to knock him down. The creature's legs gave out, making him and Balder collapse to the ground. "Why did you have to be so vengeful about it?! It's training so she can fight creatures as strong as you!" The bodyguard then looked behind him, towards Stormy and the Smeargle. "You guys alright?"

The man's brow slowly raised at the kid's animosity. In the internet's favorite language: "Y u mad bruh? It's just a game". Then again, the fire and the way he spoke... The dots connected. "The kid from the warzone huh..." The bodyguard's face grew grim. "I'm not here to listen to messages, nor deal with your tantrums, child. But I will give you the fight you signed up for."[break][break]

Balder pulled out an oddly-shaped pokeball, almost reminiscent of a skull, with tribal engravings upon it. The pokeball opened, releasing an Alolan Marowak. The creature proceeded to move to the fire circle and light its bone on fire with the flames. Then, the ritual dancing began as it waited for something to happen.[break][break]

"Let's open the festivities now. Shaman, do your magic." The Marowak started spinning its bone club, throwing in the air a few times. Suddenly, the flames at the tips of the bone turned green before detaching and flying towards the Polteageist, trying to inflict the Burn status to the opponent.[break]

"Interesting use of Growth." The Bodyguard noted as he watched the phenomenon happen. "You considered your pokemon's size and judged he might not move quickly enough to avoid this, so you preferred tanking and strengthening. You were saying it's not your kind of thing, but you might have some talent for it. Or at least a good understanding of what your teammates can do."[break][break]

The Golem was smirking from seeing the Tropius endure the assault and still be standing. He was craving violence, battle. It had been far too long since he fought, now he could release his pent-up energy. Balder sighed as he was seeing how his pokemon acted. "Ok maybe some barelling will do you some good. Prepare yourself."[break][break]

The rock creature seemed happy to be granted something along the line of what he was thinking. Finding a hard surface, the Golem began to roll against it, Polishing the Rocks that formed his body in order to make him faster, more slippery. Easier to roll too if you can reduce the resistance offered by the crooks and bumps on the rocks.

"You got that right, little Pokedex." A man said as he walked in from behind, passing the floating Rotomdex and his owner. The black coat was floating behind him, hooked on his shoulder someone. Why was the man dressed up like a bodyguard while at the beach?[break][break]

"Nice to see kids like you taking part in this event. But sadly, and as a form of respect, I can't hold back too much." On that note, the man pulled out a pokeball. One of a fiery red color with golden alolan markings upon it. "Let's go Ash." The odd Pokeball opened, revealing a Typhlosion, slightly bigger and darker then the regular creature.[break][break]

"I'll let you take the first move Kid." Only fair to do so, since the child arrived on the field before him. But that would be the first time the Bodyguard would see how a blind individual fights their battle. It was bound to be an interesting match.

As the man stood back up and scanned the surroundings, he noticed that some of the local creatures were approaching them and what had been burrowed within the soil. As soon as the Duskull emerged, however, it was met with an angry noise from the Frosty horse. The horse stood upon it's rear legs menacingly, before dropping down.[break][break]

Yet, the ghost proceeded through its advances, seemingly unaffected by the threat provided. "Do it, Glacies." Upon receival of the order, the Glastrier roared and unleashed Icicle Crash, exorcising the Duskull on the spot. But... That ghost wasn't the last one.

"Ultra Space, that's where." Explaining the actual acquiring process of this beast would be taking too long, having to explain the chaos that was the Longest Night of Slateport. Simplifying to these few lines was the better option in the end. "And yeah, part of why I wanted us to meet here prior was so you can see the creature."[break][break]

"Since you're the gym leader and people trust you, it'll be easier if you're the one explaining why there's a man surfing on a reactor's back which belongs to an Ultra Beast." Balder proceeded to put the blindfold on the Celesteela's head, covering its eyes. He then took one of the arms of the creature and placed it on the ground.[break][break]

"Plus, the reason I decided to use Stella is because we need to show the population that we are wielding their strengths to defend the region now. To avoid a massive panic attack once they see them on the field. Having a known person surfing the sky on the back of one of Hoenn's most dangerous invaders might be a good enough proof."
