A pink serpentine creature crossed Jaspar's path, and he gasped lightly at his luck. A shiny dratini wasn't what he was looking for, but he was thankful for the opportunity nevertheless. Dragon types were never his forte, but the idea of having an adorable pink boa draped over his shoulders made him absolutely giddy. And so he approached the snake from behind, waiting for it to turn and notice him before lightly throwing a pokeball to its noggin.

Jaspar did not travel far before another visitor crossed his path. When he least expected it, a bizarre figure jumped out at him. Naturally Jaspar  yelped, shielding himself with his parasol. However he did not feel an attack, instead he heard an ethereal chuckle. As he lowered his shield, he saw before him a gastly. The gastly seemed very pleased to have gotten the jump on Jaspar, and Jaspar could not help but chuckle as well. What a merry little prank. 

The gastly's joy turned to confusion, most humans got mad after being scared. Jaspar however chose to approach, which shocked the gastly. "Don't be frightened, I enjoyed your joke. Here, why don't you come along with me?" Jaspar took out a pokeball and extended it to the gastyly, giving it the choice to join Jaspar's family. The gastly was hesitant, but it rather liked the idea of coming along with this funny little human. Its shock turned into a smile, and it bopped its body against the pokeball to open it.
