As Thomas walked through the route, hands in his pockets, he would notice something hopping at him. The Venonat, of an odd coloration, attempted to jump at him, fangs protruding to use Leech Life. Thomas, seeing this coming, stepped to the side at the last moment, before pulling his hand out of his pocket. Immediately, Thomas deployed his Alakazam to deal with the Venonat.

Freke would attempt to finish the creature off quickly with a Psychic blast. Only, the Venonat would fire off a Signal Beam from her eyes, managing to throw off the blast. And before he could respond with another attempt at a Psychic blast, the Venonat would Disable his use of Psychic. Freke's eyes widened in panic upon being denied his ability to use Psychic.

Taking advantage of this, the Shiny Venonat lunged at the Alakazam, her fangs dripping with venom. At the last moment, however, Freke would Teleport out of the way, causing her attempt to hit the Alakazam with Poison Fang to fall flat on its face, and cause her to fall flat on her face in turn. Emerging from behind her, Freke would finish her off with a Shadow Ball, knocking her out.

"Good work.", Thomas called out to the Alakazam, before chucking a Pokeball at the Venonat.
