dominic glowers at the no smoking sign outside the entrance to the safari zone and drops the hand that been reaching for the box inside his jacket pocket. do they have a rocket member on lilycove local city council? this regulation needs to be overturned via legislative means.

he enters through the gates, though his enthusiasm had been somewhat dampened.

dominic catches sparks flashing from a patch of wild grass but averts his gaze. sparks, he decides, are a bad omen. dominic quickens his pace and keeps walking because he doesn't want to be accosted by some random, wild pokemon out of nowhere.

dominic hears screaming in the water, which based on the volume and the way it caused almost physical pain to be in the vicinity, he surmises to be a sound-based attack. an UPROAR or a HYPER VOICE; perhaps both.

dominic hears screaming again - some pokemon ROARING - but it sounds much cuter than what had filled the air prior. the sparks from the grass seem more potent this time, and dominic cranes his neck to examine the pokemon.

catching sight of a snarling shinx attacking the morpeko from earlier, he raises an eyebrow, uncertain about whether or not to catch it. his mind is made up when he sees the pokemon somehow DOUBLE KICK the other pokemon. dominic tosses the safari ball without hesitation.

when dominic goes to pick up his new capture, he does notice some bubbles on the surface of the water and then two wide, staring eyes from the pond; he doesn't know what that is and he has no desire to find out. seems like the sort of thing priam's weird friend Lucas Lane would be into, which is enough of a reason for dominic to back away.
