Oscar turned to face the uninvited guest, a bit of ash falling from his shoulders. The stranger was burly and tan, a visual that briefly caused Oscar to blush. He managed to bury his feelings before responding. He had chosen to humor the stranger with a response, he was not in a great mood but as always he fought his natural instinct to be rude.

"You know your kommo-os, an uppercut would usually help but that's not the kind of move he's trying to do. He wants to learn Body Press without a TR, which I thought was silly but it's his choice." Ku ignored the humans, preparing another attempt. Oscar continued as he observed, "The issue is he's too heavy to lift himself for the attack. He can't even get off the ground." Ku charged once more, and sure enough he would attempt to leap in order to accomplish the attack. 

Just as Oscar had said though, the mighty dragon would be unable to lift himself before hitting the rock. This time he managed to smash through, though it was not the intended method. Ku thrashed himself out of the rubble, once again frustrated. His tantrum was interrupted by a low growl. Something else wiggled out of the rubble; apparently a perrserker had been passing by behind the boulder and got caught in Ku's attack. It turned to Ku, claws outstretched as it challenged him to battle. 

Ku had no interest, he swiped at the warrior with a single Dragon Claw and sent the poor thing flying. As Ku stepped away to find a new boulder, Oscar stepped toward the perrserker, throwing a pokeball before it could get up.

Island challenges? Oscar raised an eyebrows, this guy was Alolan? Checks out, the man was built like a truck and was as tan as a football. As the platforms were made, Oscar looked to Ku. "Well you heard the man, give it a go."

Ku nodded, climbing up the platforms to their top. He would need a proper target though, and luckily one would come along. A platoon of falinks emerged from the grass, most likely to examine all the commotion. Unfortunately for them, they stopped right under Ku's platform. Ku hopped off, taking on the pose he knew for the move, and smashing into the falinks with his full weight (Body Press).

The falinks scattered, rolling around like marbles. Eventually they ceased to move, allowing Oscar to throw a pokeball at their leader. When the leader went in, so did the others. As the ball twitched, Ku stood up and let out a cry of triumph. He was quite happy to have completed the attack, though he would have to cycle through it a few times to perfect it.

While Ku went up the platforms to try again, Oscar looked to the man. "I take it you're from Alola? You can't tell by my complexion but so am I. Name's Oscar, thanks for the help there. What island are you from?" Might as well take this opportunity to make an acquaintance.
