Gigi didn’t have a clue how to manage a garden. This was a far cry from her usual habitat; plopped in front of a monitor while basking in the glory that was her gaming chair.
Today, she was checking up on the products of her labor. Except they weren’t done. Ugh. If only life grew faster.
Luckily, the visit wasn’t a complete waste. A small kitten had wondered into the garden. Awwww! It’s so cute! Wait. Were those flames?! Suddenly, the black cat was not as cute as she previously thought.
”Don’t you dare, you little fucke-.” Shit. Well, violence was necessary when words failed? With a flick of the wrist, she summoned her Porygon in the line of fire (literally). The flames fizzled on the digital Pokemon who took no real damage from the young kit.
Ethernet retaliated with a charge beam. Gigi always asked the Digital Pokemon to protect her belongings, albeit mostly in cyberspace, so surely this was what the gamer wanted. ”Holy shit, Ethernet. You didn’t have to hit the young’un that hard.” Contrasting her words was a light chuckle.
The cat was a bundle of frizz due to the static - it was hard not to find that hilarious. In retrospect, the kitten was probably just hungry and offering a berry would have sufficed. Oh well: that’s hindsight for you.
An empty ball was chucked towards the fainted fire type before Gigi began to assess the plots of land. Yep. Still nothing.
"Oi, oi! Get your grubby beak off my plants!" Oh god she sounded like one of those old folks who yelled at people for running in their yard. Horror briefly flashed across her face before she realized fuck that. No one was watching to see her delve into boomer territory. "Do you know how much work it is to take care of this shit?"
Whether the Staravia heard the angry flailing of Gigi or not, it did not seem like it was ready to leave its feast anytime soon. "Dammit. Duracell, shock the hell out of it." she grumbled as she released the Vikavolt who instantly discharged his stored electricity at the bird.
She considered leaving but then a horrible thought crossed her mind. What if it woke up and went for seconds? Fuuuck that. Gigi chucked a Pokeball at the fainted bird to defend her hard-work.
Seriously? This garden was more work than of any real use! Terabyte loved tending to the berries and it presented the opportunity for Gigi to actually learn about physical labor.. buuut she was definitely over all of this. Maybe it wouldn't be so bad if she had to deal with thieves left and right. Couldn't they target someone else's garden? What the hell was attracting them to hers - uh, besides berries that is.
Hands in the air, Gigi turned around to leave because if there were no berries then she wouldn't have to deal with so much hassle. Unfortunately, sensing a disturbance with her "children", Terabyte burst out of her Pokeball. The Venusaur protectively stood over the plants, herding the small rabbit away.
An exchange of words - aka animalistic cries - resulted in the Buneary nodding in understanding and hopping up to Gigi, expectation dancing in its eyes. What in the world had they been discussing? A deal had been brokered between the two, which, apparently involved her. Her eyes narrowed as she glared at Venusaur, who offered a lop-sided grin in response. Sighing, Gigi fished for a Pokeball and chucked it at the willing Buneary.
