Kazimir Wynter

Soup loved Meteor Falls.

It was, for lack of a better word, a really cool place. The caves, and the waterfalls, and the mysterious... air to the location made it really entrancing, and he found himself here many times over the last few days. Of course, staying in the nearby Fallarbor Town made this easier, and the place was rich with history.

And, of course, there were the dragon tamers here. The archaeologist in him was delighted to join them and learn about their culture and history. It was a great opportunity, and he was glad he'd found Meteor Falls.

kazimir left his small secret base via one of the many holes that lead into it from the off beaten path people normally take here in meteor falls. granted a hole being surrounded by water with stepping stones was probably the most inconspicious things ever not many people would dare even try to cross the waters to see if anything was inside, and if they would they would be greeted with the pokemon that roamed around the base while he was away. as he climbed out the white dust that one would find around the falls clung to his bare torso. as he made his way away from his hole he soon noticed someone familiar.

"doc?" the blonde asked as he waved from across the river that separated the two of them. "hey doc soup! what the heck are you doing here?! digging for more fossils?" it was sort of the only explanation considering the history behind this place. surely there would be something buried under here, and no his secret base doesn't count.[break][break]

Another thing that was common at Meteor Falls was the wild Pokemon. The area seemed to be full of rare species, and Soup found more evidence of this as a group of egglike figures hopped up to him.

Of course, an Exeggcute. These were familiar to Soup, even if he had never had the opportunity to befriend one before. However, they seemed to be aggressive as well, launching a barrage of Leech Seeds at Soup himself.

Soup swore as he dove out of the way, bruising his knees as he landed. He should know better than to wander around Meteor Falls without a Pokemon out. He fished for a random Pokeball at his belt and pushed a button, releasing Atlas from the ball.

The little Chespin was unaware of the fight going on and squeaked happily as it saw... Was that Kazimir, from the digging site? But he shouldn't have gotten distracted, as that allowed the Exeggcute to lift up Atlas with an Extrasensory and fling him at the ground.

Atlas growled, righting himself and returning the favor with a barrage of Pin Missile. The eggs were all in a group, but the repeated fire nailed a large number of them, causing the Exeggcute to flinch. Deciding that Soup was the easier target of the two, it fired another Leech Seed at him.

This time, Atlas saved Soup from needing to dodge, intercepting the seeds and flinging them aside. Another Pin Missile knocked out the Exeggcute.

Soup groaned a little as he got to his feet, petting Atlas on the head and lobbing a Pokeball at the now-defeated Exeggcute.

"Hey, Kazimir," he began. "Fancy seeing you here, huh?" Kazimir asked about the fossils, and Soup smiled. "Well, right now, I'm being attacked by wild Pokemon. At this rate, I'll be the fossil." He shrugged. "But yeah, I was here for the fossils, among other reasons. I like the place, too," he explained. "It has a nice feel. What about you?"

"oh you know. just enjoying the scenery, this place is real pretty and not many people appreciate that." and it wasn't like he was hiding a base full of his secrets down in here, "so i like to come here often to just enjoy the nice and quiet and take a nice dip in the water. seriously these pools are a nice cool temperature and great for some relaxing. if ya don't mind the wild pokemon."

as if on cue a ducklett came swimming up to them angrily quacking at the two trainers to get out of its territory which consisted of the river. kazimir just rolled his eyes and laughed. "especially the pokemon, i saw that bunch of eggs give ya trouble. your chespin's a trooper taking it on like that. i have a few potions if he need-woah!"

the blue duck jumped at him so out of reflex kazimir sent out his pikachu who delivered a thunderbolt at the duck to stop it in its tracks and send it to the floor in an unconscious mess of feathers. kaz gave soup another glance and a weak smile as he pulled out a pokeball and lobbed it at the ducklett. "man that was ballsy, i like that in a pokemon. you have a favorite type doc? for a fossil guy i would have expected y'know...something like a tyrunt."[break][break]

Soup nodded. Meteor Falls had an aesthetic appeal that someone would have to be blind not to notice.

He laughed when Kazimir complimented his Chespin. "Atlas is probably fine," he said, looking at the little Chespin who seemed barely hurt. "He can take a lot more than you might think."

It seemed that the Pokemon of the area were rather aggressive as a rule, as Soup noticed a Ducklett attacking Kazimir too. His Pikachu knocked it out without breaking a sweat, though, so it was no problem.

"I tend to like dragon types, if I had to choose," said Soup, eyeing an Octillery that poked its head out of the water, only to vanish beneath it again. "I like fossil Pokemon, too, but I'm a little reluctant to train them, considering that, you know. They're not always happy with their new environment." He shrugged. "If I could see a fossil Pokemon that didn't have those problems, though, I'd be happy to train them. Do you have any preference?" He remembered Kazimir's Golurk from the dig site, but that was at odds with the Pikachu he had out here.

It seemed, though, like the more aggressive wilderness was ready to make its presence known again. "Watch out!" called Soup as a Drakloak sped towards Kazimir, snarling.

kazimir had to take a moment to think of an answer for the doctor. if he looked back on his team and every pokemon he's gotten so far...he didn't really have a preference now that he thought about it. he just caught whatever he thought was cool. he still had a fondness for a certain type however, "fighting types. i exercise a lot so they're really good partners for getting into shape with. the only exception is incineroars, love those guys." he thought about taking out his own to let it show off for the doctor only for the blonde to be tackled to the ground as a dragon flew right above them.

"whoa! what the?!" he didn't get a chance to get a good look at it but he did managed to get a good look at soup's face and he had to admit, this scientist was pretty cute. above his pikachu got to work handling the dragon and let out a thunderbolt to strike it down and leave it twittching on the floor as kazimir pushed himself back onto sitting up right. "thanks for the save. forgot pokeon around here can be pretty aggressive. you alright yourself man?"[break][break]
