fernando finds himself in an office that's unfamiliar to him. only its owner has a recognizable face. this is his first time visiting her at work and it shows in his expression. he stares at her intently, observing her reaction as she reads the comments and case notes he annotates on the operation they're about to conduct. a portion of the league wants to investigate after some dubious rocket activity alludes to the rockets having inside information. suspicion runs high and even dahlia is bold enough to outright state that they've been penetrated prior to the expedition to the dessert ruins.

"are you sure about this, senna?" fernando has a personal interest on the case. he's been vigilant on ensuring it pulls through even thought he outwardly serves as opposition against it. his words vouch for nikolai, advising against conducting an operation without consulting the rest of the league, but the hints and evidence he provides only pushes them to pursue the endeavor. he knows just how to push senna's buttons. all he needs now is for her to trust him, to allow him to execute it himself.
