Given the amount of times he'd come to this place since the end of the summer it was a given that he'd begun getting a lay of the land. He walked the paths and relaxed his eyes to all the sudden movements.

He walked alone until he knew what pokémon to use as backup probably a water-type given the circumstances. He hadn't grown tired of visiting this place and it seemed the team still liked coming here as well.

Given how close it was to Lavaridge it was actually perfect as a means to do some headhunting and then relax a bit at Utah's house

Clearing his head as he walked like he tended to do here, he pondered where he would go next in the endless journey to expand his team.

A Numel; he'd seen one of these before in the Granite Cave. His hands ghosted over the first two pokéballs throwing them out with a battle plan. He gestured Gan's attention to Kiri giving him the hand signal to transform.

With Tirtouga before him he yelled in urgency, startling the Numb Pokémon. With Kiri and Gan being part of his team for nearly twenty years they moved with an experience and confidence a wild pokémon couldn't match.

After withstanding the HYDRO PUMP the Numel's legs wobbled as it stumbled about the follow-up attack of wet tail slaps from Gan knocked it over to its side.

Gan used TRANSFORM; transformed to Tirtouga!
Kiri used HYDRO PUMP; its (double) super effective!
Gan used AQUA TAIL; its (double) super effective!

Slumped over and washed out the Numel sputtered its legs still trying to escape as Sénon got just close enough to hit it on its side with a Premier Ball, letting it fall into the puddles left over from the HYDRO PUMP.

Crimsen attempted to capture Numel!
