With a stomp of his little paw, Goodcop summoned an ELECTRIC TERRAIN that spread throughout the eighth basement floor of Mauville Hills in all directions. Like a visible radar, the electricity that now permeated the landscape would release signals that reached the Morpeko, who then translated them into information. Right from the start, the little critter sensed something approaching them fast.[break][break]

It appeared one of the wild pokémon here didn't take kindly to the oddly-coloured Morpeko's influence.[break]

To think that the Morpeko's single tiny stomp would attract the ferocious stomps of a Tauros only seconds later...[break][break]

Despite the size difference (and the intense anger brimming off the beast), however, Goodcop was determined to stand his ground and protect Atlan. Rather than duck its head and use its horns to its advantage, the reckless bull came THRASHING in with its hooves. Small and speedy in stature, the Morpeko ducked and weaved past these iron feet before summoning a RISING VOLTAGE that shocked it to all hell.[break][break]

Practically medium-rare at this point, the Tauros weakly neighed before stumbling away down the opposite hallway. Goodcop, in the meantime, looked over at it limping away and snickered. This was his terrain now, loser![break]

An AURA WHEEL. An ELECTRO BALL. A hail of BULLET SEED that only bounced back to strike Goodcop (now slowly morphing into Badcop) in the face. It appeared, somehow, the Mime Jr. had actually trapped him in a box?![break][break]

Atlan, in the meantime, was dying laughing in the corner. He had no idea why or what a Mime Jr. was doing here, of all places. After all, he'd only ever seen Electric or Steel-types roaming about. But the little tyke certainly liked to have fun! Pleased with the show, even as Badcop raged inside his invisible box, Atlan pulled out the last of the candy bar he'd been eating and crouched down to offer it to the cute baby pokémon.[break]
