At first, when Priam mentions fuschia, Gavin's interest is piqued. As he continues, however, it becomes more evident that his fellow Rocket is simply trying to come up with a more interesting name for purple.

Mauve? Plum? Violet?

"Fuschia is more of a pink, isn't it?" It doesn't really matter. He laughs, shrugs his shoulders. "Mine is a 'boring old purple', I'm afraid. I don't know if they have 'shiny' versions... I can't say I've seen any that are different colors. Even then, they could be like Florges or Vivillon, and come in a bunch of different — but not exceptionally rare — colors."

Gavin steps carefully over a Durant that crosses their path, but otherwise ignores it.

Gavin curses as a Doublade lunges toward him, narrowly dodging the bite of its steel. Cradily's immobility is ill-suited to deal with the ghost-type, so Gavin returns the fossil as the Rotom in his phone disconnects from the technology.

It fires off a thunder wave, slowing down the swords before engaging with them.

To Priam, Gavin says, "No, I don't think they'll be back." He's frowning, and it's clear there's something on his mind. He thinks of Ultra Space, of the way it had seemed to fall apart around them. "If they do come back, we'll be better prepared. You're a veteran of an alien war," he chuckles, "how's that feel?"

Doublade falls to Rotom's hex, and Gavin tosses a ball at it.

Gavin's smile is crooked, eyes shining in the gloom of the tunnel. "Those that need to know are very pleased with what you and Clayton did."

To deny the League of not just one, but two Megalopolan generals had been the highlight of the war from a Rocket standpoint. priam conrad and oscar clayton's move had been critical.

Teeth line a dark crevice in the wall, revealed to be attached to a Mawile that lurches forward when Rotom strays too close. The ghost-type vanishes from sight, reappearing some feet away and retaliating with its telekinesis; rocks clatter against the tunnel wall, some of them striking true. Hairs rise along Gavin's arms as an electric terrain ripples through the cave.

"Rotom—" Gavin sighs, one hand making a vain attempt to smooth back his fringe while the other fumbles for a spare pokeball. He tosses it at Mawile.
