he's pretty sure the safari warden is eyeing him now, though kyle just ignores the stare as he goes. he'll be going in for more anyways until he hits the coveted ninety-four.

with his mightyena on tow, kyle enters the area once more. there's ice everywhere because he guesses that's the theme the safari people are going for, though kyle doesn't bother to wear a jacket since hoenn climate means there's no snow outside of the safari zone.

kyle sees another darumaka. it's only his second one, but he's already tired of seeing it because it looks stupid and dumb. at least it has a broken ability, but that's metagaming. shiv please don't read this.

the mightyena lunges at the darumaka, opening his jaws so the pokemon fits in his maw. fire fangs burn the pokemon inside as it screams in agony, waiting for the fateful end of its life finally come.

kyle throws a pokeball at it before it actually dies.

he picks up the pokeball that caught the darumaka and moves on to the next. the wooper was the next unfortunate victim and the mightyena goes for it as soon as both the pokemon and the trainer notices it.

the ice fang forms on the mightyena's jaws before it clamps onto the wooper. there's no reaction at first before frost starts to form on its head. it starts trying to wriggle free, but there is no escape for the wooper for there is only death awaiting it.

kyle throws a pokeball at it before it actually dies.

he wonders how long it will take before the arctozolt's appearance becomes normalized for him. apparently, not too long as he's reaction at it lessens with each one he meets. granted it's only the second one, but still.

the fire fang forms on the mightyena's jaws before it clamps onto the arctozolt. it flails as it tries to get the mightyena's grip out of it before flames creep up on its body. it tries to attack back with powder snow, but kyle manages to stop it before the wild pokemon's attack fully manifests.

kyle throws a pokeball at it before it actually dies.

with the arctozolt finally captured, next comes the bergmite. it's so small and cute that kyle feels bad that it's going to die one point or another.

the fire fang forms on the mightyena's jaws before it clamps onto the bergmite. its icy armor starts to melt off with the move's intensity as the pokemon screams in agony. the only way to save it is to catch it and sacrifice it to necrozma.
