[nospaces] [attr="class","sbody"] [attr="class","ihead"] [attr="class","aname2"] what's public, what's not [attr="class","ipad"] AN EXPLANATION[break][break] A good-natured kid who recently left home to go on the gym circuit...by running away from home. After being stonewalled by his parents for so long, despite his achievements, he decided to prove himself whether they wanted him to or not. He doesn't plan on going home for a while, and for the time being, he'll be traveling all across Hoenn - and collecting badges along the way.[break] [break][break] PUBLIC [break][break] - He's blind.
- He participated in the Hoenn Star Tournament. Though his win:loss ratio was fairly average, he still proved his capabilities as a trainer despite his disability.
- As of mid-August, he left home to do the gym circuit. His parents did not approve of this beforehand, and want him back home.
- He has a preference for psychic-type Pokemon, usually traveling with at least one out. However, his main lineup is diverse.
- He has 4 siblings: one is a Ranger, one has been under the radar and nobody knows what she's been doing, one is a NEET, and one is a student.
- Generally very pleasant to be around. Charming.
- Very skilled at training Pokemon, though some of his Pokemon are noted to have discipline issues.
- Has 7 badges. He's stated his intent on trying to become Champion, but he hasn't gone for the 8th badge yet for some reason.
- Is currently a Gym Leader over in Littleroot, running a library-themed gym. Mainly uses psychic-types there.
[break][break] WHAT THE LEAGUE KNOWS[break][break] - The legality of his departure for the gym circuit is messy: he does have a trainer license, has proven his skills in the Hoenn Star Tournament, and already has one badge. However, he is a minor with a serious disability, and he left without his parents' consent. Not to mention he left shortly after Rocket re-emerged.
- Though he has been spotted throughout Hoenn, it's unknown where he's staying overnight. As far as anyone is aware, he's traveling on his own.
- He was involved in the Meltan incident at the Seaside Cycling Road, and he provided footage of the incident via his Rotomdex.
- Seems to have a good relationship with John Sullivan , who mentored him for a time. Hideo has even managed to earn Doug's Gym's badge through the non-traditional challenge.
- Involved with the rescue of Andy Blackadder .
- Was present for Necrozma's arrival. Helped summon Uxie of the lake trio.
- Attained the consent to run a gym from his parents. They are aware of this, and have admitted to giving it willingly. However, Hideo still lives away from them.
WHAT ROCKET KNOWS[break][break] - Is the littlest brother of a Rocket member. He could be used as leverage if she ever acts up.
- Known by some Rocket members on good terms. He hasn't said anything in favor of Rocket, but he hasn't opposed them either.
- Was present at the Seaside Cycling Road incident. He recorded the incident via his Rotomdex.
- Was present for Necrozma's arrival. Helped summon Uxie of the lake trio.
PRIVATE[break][break] - Is aware his eldest sister is part of Rocket; keeps it a secret from everyone (even her).
- Although he maintains a diverse team, he's starting to trend towards Psychic and Steel Pokemon.
- His camp is located in the woods of route 116.
- Traumatized by the loss of his Ariados during the Lilycove Museum incident. Terrified of losing any more.
- During Necrozma's arrival, was marked by Uxie with an Uxie-shaped tattoo on his left wrist. As of Rocket's raid on Littleroot during the meteor crisis, Uxie joined Hideo's team. Although it does have a Pokeball, it frequently leaves its ball of its own volition. Hideo has not yet developed any powers since Uxie accompanied him.
- Currently spends most nights at Melody Miro 's house.
- Obtained the consent to run a gym from his parents by using his Pokemon, mainly his Shadow Alakazam. They believe they gave their consent completely willingly, and he used them to stop trying to bring him back home. He avoids spending time with them out of guilt.
