Regardless of how Sabine arrives in Petalburg and the situation surrounding that, the woman is most likely in a foul mood.[break][break]

This mood does, however, brighten at the sight of the Wooloo in the back field. Their familiar mewlings are music to her ears in terms of business opportunities. She is, however, exceedingly mindful of Wooloo patties in the road leading up to the house. She side-steps one in particular before pushing open the door. [break][break]

Unfortunately, before she's able to do just that, masked robbers grab her from behind as they breach the building. Sabine's face is in a permanent, bewildered scowl as she struggles against her captors. More than likely these masked marauders are Rocket grunts trying to make a quick buck on expensive Wooloo wool - but she can only think about how absolutely stupid they must be.[break][break]

If Sabine won this business over with her charms, she would literally be hand-delivering a fruitful, prosperous business right to Rocket's front steps. How stupid could these people be?[break][break]

J.J. can't help but wince in pain at the sight of the newcomer being shoved into the room. His face still stings from his own brush encounter with the masked marauders which left him slightly bruised and beaten.

Despite her unfavorable situation, the new hostage continued to struggle against her captors which could only lead to an even worse situation for her. How fucking stupid. He quietly thinks to himself as his blue eyes lock onto the other masked men whom by now seem preoccupied and distracted by the woman. Thinking of how unprepared and unprofessional they are, J.J. nearly scoffs but stifles his reaction as he quietly loosens the watch around his wrist and slips it just over his knuckles.

The men seem so caught up in their own little get rich quick scheme that they hadn't even bothered to check their hostages for any additional valuables. J.J. quickly stood to his feet and without uttering a single word or yell, sprang to action as he quickly sucker punched one of the masked robbers in the jaw using his fairly expensive watch as an improvised weapon.

The sudden impact caused the man to go down in an instant and as they stared in bewilderment, J.J. didn't hesitate to release Soleil, his Lucario from her pokeball as the two-legged canine let out a low growl as it quickly cupped its paws close to one another as it quickly gathered aura within its palms to blast another with an Aura Sphere.

There is a gloved hand covering her mouth and effectively muffling her squealing and complaining. Try as she might, she's not able to wiggle out of their grasp, and these grunts have absolutely no idea who she is. But they would.[break][break]

Her captor pins her tight against his chest as his partner handles the goods exchange over the counter. None of them are at all prepared for the young man with the watch to totally knock his lights out. The young woman behind the counter is positively shaking in her boots as she passes out cash from the register. [break][break]

What's more insulting is the fact that there is a loud business meeting going on in the back - a meeting Sabine was supposed to be involved in. Did they not notice she was missing? What kind of dumpster-ass business was she trying to get into? No wonder these Wooloo-wool clothing pieces were so inexpensive.[break][break]

Sabine gasps, a muffled squeal of surprise, as the young blonde man sucker-punches the man taking money from the lady. He goes down in a heartbeat and the woman runs to the back to ask for help.[break][break]

Meanwhile, their unsuspecting super-hero releases a Lucario and they begin tag-teaming. By this point, Sabine has been let go as the shoddy robbers attempt to make their exit before the situation got even more out of hand.[break][break]

"Well, that was unbelievably underwhelming."[break][break]

She brushes the sleeves of her outfit, appearing disgusted.[break][break]

Men from the back begin flooding out from the back room just as the subpar robbers flee through the entrance. Seeing the sudden reinforcement, J.J. hangs his head low rubbing the back of his neck, slowly raising his head upwards to coldly stare at the others. ”What the fuck took you so long?” he utters lowly – the gaze from his blue eyes as chilly as ice.

One of the grunts steps forward flaring in anger as they glare back at him. ”What was that you punk? You’re just the goddamn lookout.”yet he’s unphased against the man’s bluster, maintaining his stance and cold glare causing him to hesitate and take a step back. Finding the grunt to not be worth his time, he holds out his pokeball, recalling the Lucario through a red beam of light as he looks to the woman brushing herself off.

He approaches, maintaining a fair distance as he stares at her with a small smile forming from his lips. ”Sorry ‘bout the trouble.” he half-apologizes. Judging the woman's attitude, she seems perfectly poised and fine despite the hassle and physical mistreatment. "I'm J.J."

Just as she finishes plucking a spot of lint from the edge of her sleeve. She drops it, nose wrinkled with distaste, gaze sweeping upward to meet the cold blue stare of a man wearing a small smile. It doesn't suit, and she stares at him with indifference. The woman tilts her chin up to look down her nose at him just slightly.[break][break]

"Uh-huh.."[break][break]

She responds slowly, unconvinced by his attempted apology. His statement is followed immediately by his name, encouraging her brow to arch in mild amusement. It makes her look perfectly vindictive, though.[break][break]

"Right place right time, J.J."[break][break]

Sabine steps closer in an attempt to distract or disorient. Her emerald gaze matches his in intensity, and she brushes against his arm briefly as she makes her exit toward the back. Where everyone else - especially the poor receptionist - is still trembling with fear, Sabine is unaffected. [break][break]

Unfortunately for her, however, the meeting she was meant to attend is promptly canceled as a result of the afternoon's unfortunate interruption. Sabine's eye roll is staggering, and she ends up coming right back to make her exit from the building. Of course, the moment she steps outside, she is met with a googly-eyed Wooloo dropping a fresh pile of poo.[break][break]

"Eugh! Get this disgusting beast away from me!"[break][break]

A chuckle escapes from J.J. as he’s slightly amused by the woman’s bougie attitude. She’s clearly out of place as she seems to find everything around her distasteful and unfitting for a woman of her stature, not that he doesn’t mind though. He’s seen plenty of people like her.

”Say, what’s your name, miss?” he asks, hovering somewhat closely around her with a smile on his face as he follows after her to the back.

He’s curious as to why she’s here, but not curious enough to outright ask; though it’s obvious enough that she means business. Yet, before he can enter the back room with her, he finds that she’s already leaving causing him to momentarily peek his head through the door with an arched brow. Both he and the others in the room are left asking what happened between each other.

He’s distracted by the girl’s sudden scream of disgust, causing him to step away to check up on her. ”What’s wrong?” he asks, but upon seeing her confrontation with the googly-eyed wooloo, he simply breaks down laughing.

The boy hovers but she is unaware. Her one-track mind essentially makes him disappear entirely from her thoughts and personal bubble, and he only returns when she needs help again - typical Calcifet woman.[break][break]

His shadow looms next to her, followed by a fit of laughter that forces her to turn her head and stare at him with bewildered outrage. What could possibly be so funny?[break][break]

However, instead of outright tearing him a new one immediately, Sabine chooses to tuck her jacket closer to her and tuck herself behind J.J. The Wooloo stands and stares, blank-eyed and indifferent, as the woman continues to glare daggers at it. [break][break]

"What's wrong? It's disgusting and blocking my path. It's made a mess and-- well just look at it."[break][break]

As he howls in laughter, he can’t help but bend over. He desperately tries to catch his breath, pausing mid-laugh but he’s unable to stifle his humor as it breaks out once more. After ten seconds of the unexpected and poor attack against his funny bone, he finally straightens himself, wiping away the tear leaking from his eye.

”Sorry, sorry…” he teasingly apologizes once more, fully understanding the girl’s upper crust upbringing. Now knowing her personality, she probably has more than half a mind of mangling him, but he’s unbothered by such thoughts.

Managing to avoid the Wooloo’s defecation, he ruffles the animal’s cotton like wool and pats it away. ”Go on, git.” With a single pat and on command, the sheep baas at him and the girl before hopping forward once, rolling away as it takes its leave. J.J. slides his hands into his pocket as he slowly turns his attention back to the girl.

His blue eyes seem to lock onto the girl, briefly scanning downwards and back up to her face as he momentarily examines her. ”You never told me your name, miss.” he suavely repeats himself, wondering if she’ll even bother answering him.

Sabine's face contorts into an extragavant display of disgust and rage. He was humiliating both himself and her by bending over laughing like that. She could feel the burn of eyes staring at her from inside, and she had half a mind to take hold of this man's arm and drag him away before further harm could be done to her self image.[break][break]

He apologizes, but his expression is so painfully, obviously not apologetic that she averts her eyes. There is a storm brewing in their emeral depths, a promise of pain and misery to befall this young man. It's far too intense for his eyes to see, and she manages to reign in her temper as best she can. When she does speak, her voice is thin and tight-lipped.[break][break]

"Sabine. My name is Sabine Calcifet."[break][break]

The woman steps away from him, then, no longer needing to use him as protection against the Wooloo. Though his eyes are.. quite captivating and she finds it difficult to look away now that he had locked onto her own. [break][break]

”You know, you don’t really seem the type to hang around over here. What even brings a gal like you over to a place like this?” he asks curiously, trying to probe the woman’s intent.

Her attitude and attire certainly contrasts against the country life, and her presence must’ve had a much more important reason. It wouldn’t even occur to him that she might be part of Team Rocket; after all, she’s far too upper class to potentially throw her life away like that.

Then again, he’s not one to talk considering his own upbringing.

His smile only grows as he towers over the woman. ”Well, Sabine, It’s certainly been a pleasure.”

"Wooloo wool is extremely valuable when handled and processed correctly - and I know how to make sure they're doing it right."[break][break]

She tugs the scarf hanging from her neck, raising an eyebrow in response to his smile. [break][break]

"Premium quality wool, imported from Galar."[break][break]

Well, not imported, necessarily, since it was family run and she'd just brought it with her, but... same difference, right? She had come with the full intent of buying out the business here and stamping the family name on unfamiliar territory. Sabine Calcifet had no qualms about taking over everything in her path that she thought valuable to her.[break][break]

And, given her recent affiliation with her big brother's beloved 'Team Rocket' that meant spoils for them, too. [break][break]

"... I'm sure it has been."[break][break]

She smirks, shaking her head. The woman readjusts her purse and smooths the scarf against her chest. When she leaves, she only glances back at the man once before giving him a slight half eye-roll and a shake of her head.[break][break]
