The world was peaceful once again. No aliens to try to eat you at every corner, no hysteric woman having her goons hunt you down across the region. It was pure, relaxing peace. Hoenn was free from turmoil temporarily. For how long? Hard to say. But there's no reason to seek trouble now, is there?[break][break]

Still, taking it too easy wouldn't be a good idea. Training and remaining active was always a good idea. So anyone can be ready to protect what they love the most. Which is why Balder was now out in the fields, at route 116, to train himself and his pokemons. He also needed to recruit some comrades to assist him, as some of them had fallen during the war.[break][break]

Thinking about these events.... It was sad. Lots of needless death for everyone. People suffered and died, so did the pokemon around them. While the natural option would be to move on, some would have a hard time doing so. And Balder still had some of his fallen friends in his mind...

What's the best way to have a man get out of his line of thought? Have a cleaner bunny appear before him, cleaning the garbage that people had left on the ground. The Cincinno, even though it was a wild creature, still prioritized cleanliness as much as possible. Thus, seeing it proceed to do the cleaning... She was true to her nature.[break][break]

When she noticed the man, the creature proceeded to be on the defensive, backing away from Balder. To show he meant no harm, Balder proceeded to grab the garbage on the ground and discard it in the trash can. He then waved at the bunny and proceeded to move forward down the road, letting the rabbit do his job.[break]

Not long after the bunny, Balder saw a familiar creature: a Rufflet. One of his usual partners had been a Rufflet, now a Braviary due to the evolution. But seeing him... that brought memories back to the man. Of the good times the small bird and him spent as they traveled across the world, exploring and living their lives.[break][break]

The alolan man smiled. Maybe a trip down to memory lane was what he needed in the end. And doing this like he did when he caught his initial partner... That wouldn't be a bad idea. The man proceeded to take some pokesnack out of his pocket before whistling to get the bird's attention. It didn't take long for it to turn its head and stare at Balder, confused as to why he would request his presence.[break][break]

Noticing the food the human held, the bird started approaching him slowly. After feeling that Balder wouldn't hurt him, the bird proceeded to eat the snacks rapidly before slowly backing away. The alolan man smiled and crouched before it. "Want to join us little one? I can show you more fun stuff, and get you more food." With a chirp and a nod, the Rufflet acknowledged the trainer and proceeded to join his team.[break]
