Long ago, the man had received a ticket, an invitation to return to the safari. A prize from an activity he took part in they said. Yet it had been so long since he had acquired it that Balder almost forgot about its existence. Even almost forgot where he needed to use it. But due to the events of the war, he was now standing in front of the gates of the safari once more.[break][break]

Ticket in hand, the man entered the location and handed it to the caretaker of the safari. Once everything was checked out, they proceeded to guide the Alolan Man to the entrance of the park, where he was granted 4 pokeballs to use for his excursion.[break][break]

Balder proceeded to call Zeraora to assist him and smell out any creatures in the vicinity. The feline, ecstatic of being able to discover a new area while assisting Balder, began to ran around a bit before focusing on his task, which made Balder laugh a bit. Hopefully the future additions to his team would be as lively.

As the man proceeded down the path before him, he reached an area that was covered in ice. Had the weather gotten that cold? No... It was most likely the work of an enemy pokemon. Balder summoned his Camerupt upon the field and proceeded to advance slowly, listening to the sounds around them to locate the source of the ice.[break][break]

After a few minutes, the culprit appeared: a Bergmite. A pokemon essentially made of ice, which explained why the area had gone frigid. A perfect first catch, one could say. "Vulcan, let's do this quick. Lava Plume, make sure not to hit the trees." The Camerupt advanced forward before unleashing a plume of lava from its back, striking the ice pokemon.[break][break]

Before it could melt, Balder threw one of the Safari Balls at the creature, aiming to capture it and spare it from too much suffering. Damaging it too much would definitely not bode well for the future of that creature.

As if attracted by the noise and the flames, a small Galarian Darumaka emerged from a pile of snow, observing the situation. The creature wasn't sure of what to do now that the Bergmite had been defeated. And yet, it knew it needed to act. The Camerupt looking at it was threatening enough to make the critter proceed with an attempt to attack.[break][break]

Starting with a Blizzard, the Darumaka used the cover of the storm to hide. As Balder and the Camerupt looked around, the critter would sneak behind them to try and use Avalanche. "Do it." Sadly, the plans of the creature were foiled as Vulcan proceeded to use Eruption, covering the area in flames and smoke.[break][break]

Once the carnage had calmed down, the smoke clearing out, a fainted darumaka remained behind them. Balder dropped one of the safari balls on it, capturing it.[break]

After calling back Vulcan, the Alolan man proceeded to move further into the park, heading towards a patch of sand and dirt. Knowing there was a bunch of Trapinch recorded in the area, it would make sense that they would stay in the element similar to their natural habitat.[break][break]

It didn't take long for one of the creatures to emerge from the sand, wondering who trespassed on its territory. The trapinch looked at the alolan man before deciding to use Sand Tomb to try and imprison him. "Tough luck. I don't have time to play around." The man surrounded by sand called out a pokemon.[break][break]

The big blue body that formed the Gyarados emerged through the sand, tearing down the sand tomb. Panicking, the Trapinch attempted to use Earth Power to stop the snake from advancing, but the monster proceeded to Hydro Pump the small pokemon, knocking it out rapidly. Thus, Balder proceeded to throw a safari ball at it to finalize the capture.

The capture of the Trapinch was now completed, Gyarados had no reason to remain on an unfriendly territory. The Alolan man called the leviathan back, proceeding further into the area. The variety of the ecosystem for this Safari session didn't seem to be all that variable. While the usual trees remained, it seemed like the territory leaned more towards frosty areas and sandy fields.[break][break]

Thus, it didn't take long for Balder to stumble on a new frosty area. Trees covered in ice, as if something had woven that ice through the forest, or left its scales all around. The area of a special Snom, most likely. And it didn't take long for the critter to show its face and be aggressive as a trespasser entered its territory.[break][break]

Balder proceeded to call his Cinderace on the field. Knowing his duty, Noya proceeded to generate a ball of flame, kicking it in the Snom's face. As soon as the attack struck, the man lobbed his final safari ball, attempting to capture the insect.
