Oscar was getting tired of volunteering. In an effort to turn public opinion of Mauville General Holdings from negative to positive, Oscar had been running himself ragged lending a hand to those left suffering after the war. All this community service was starting to nauseate him though, he was spending every ounce of good will he had to help the down trodden and it was taking its toll.

This could be clearly seen as he showed up to his latest outreach mission: Helping some stranded wooloo across the ruins of cycling road to Mauville. Bags could clearly be seen etched under Oscar's eyes, his expression dragged down from overworking and scrambling from one side of the region to the other. As the wooloo's caretaker greeted Oscar, the rogue shamelessly popped some caffeine pills and provided a half hearted greeting in kind. Oscar was ready to press on immediately, but apparently they were waiting for another escort. They had better get there quick, lest Oscar get pushed over the edge and just steal these wooloo for himself.

"hey!" a voice called out towards oscar as the figure of a running blonde was fast approaching wiht his own small herd of wooloo right behind him. "sorry about the wait! found these guys wandering around and figured they got away from the group. hope your as-uh...you ok man? you look...tired." had he been here all morning? kaz had the luxury of at least sleeping in till it ws time to work so he was well rested, this guy on the other hand looked like he could use a good night's sleep on a whole bed of woooloo actually.

Oscar was about to collapse right where he stood, I mean he was surrounded by living pillows he might as well. Then he heard a voice behind him, the apparent second escort. At first Oscar turned to deliver a weary glare, but then he recognized the jolly face joining the mission. He wasn't sure whether to harden his glare or smile, he's had a turbulent relationship with mister Kazimir. Not that Kazimir would recognize Oscar, the criminal was masked the last time they met.

Oscar decided upon a neutral expression, "I've just been busy, no time for sleep. In fact we should get moving." The caretaker agreed, and with that they would begin traversing the ruins of cycling road. For now the job was just keeping the wooloos out of trouble as they were herded to their destination. Yet Oscar could not help but be paranoid. Perhaps it was just his lack of sleep, but he could have sworn they were being watched.

"y'know i think they say that wooloo wool is the comfiest thing there is. you could probably use one of these little guys as a pillow and catch up on some sleep afterward. i'm sure they wouldn't mind." he gave the other man a smile as the two walked, the energy in kaz letting him walk just a bit faster and get ahead of the herd. that's when he noticed something, something in the water that suddenly disappeared when he turned to look. he could have sword he saw something looking at him, or rather, the wooloo. "you think there's anything dangerous about this route ever since it got blown up? hell why are they even making us walk through here in the first place?

Kaz seemed keen on a conversation, and Oscar wouldn't deny him. It would help keep Oscar awake after all. "I got pillows at home, I'll just sleep there after my next job." That's right, Oscar had another job after this one. It's been nonstop, this quest to redeem MGH. After all, he had a decade of ill-will to erase and reshape.

Oscar didn't have to think hard to provide an answer to his fellow trainer's second inquiry. "Oh no doubt, and those things wanna eat these fuckin' wooloo guarantee it. Poor fucks are probably starving. I mean that's why we're here, to keep predators away while these guys get home." Almost on cue, something would emerge from the water and block the wooloos' path. A toxicroak stood before them, its frame gaunt and eyes cruel. Oscar heard a splash behind him, and found another toxicroak blocking their escape. He rolled his eyes, "Well this is why we're here."

as the toxicroaks appear and kazimir readies a pokeball from his belt. "just a bunch of frogs, dealt a few of these myself. easy to deal with." with that he sent out his arcanine who let out happy bark until kazimir pointed at the poisonous frogs. "hey firepaw? go get 'em, and make them hurt." with that the large fire dog rushed forward with his psychic fangs bared and clamping down on one of the toxicroak's arms and wouldn't let go.

Oscar pulled out a pokeball of his own, sending out his malamar: Malum. Malum cooed as Oscar pointed to the frog Kazimir wasn't fighting. "Beat down that fuck right there." Malum chuckled before charging forward, unleashing a series of whips from his glowing tentacles (Psycho Cut). The wooloo cowered around their trainer protectors, completely terrified despite how easy it would be to deal with these would be sheep choppers.

as his arcanine was making quick work with his opponent he was a bit too slow to stop it from slipping through and charging at the wooloo. the small sheep saw this and many began to cry in despair as it jumped at them only to be tackled to the ground by kazimir himself. "not so fast ya-gah!" as he wrestled with it on the ground the frog was able to at least get in a good hit at kazimir's face that managed to have the trainer roll off of it. however it wouldn't enjoy its victory over the human as it was suddenly tackled by the arcanine who grabbed it by the leg and threw it back into the water and helped kazimir up to his feet. "ok...see? no problem at all."

Oscar raised his eyebrows as he witnessed Kazimir's wrestling match. It was more than a bit impressive, not because toxicroaks were particularly strong but getting hit by those claws would hurt like a bitch. That's why when Kazimir was clawed Oscar would react with a wince. He couldn't imagine how that felt on his face, holy shit. Oscar was so busy watching Kazimir, that he didn't even notice Malum drag the broken body of his opponent back into the water. The haughty malamar strode back to his master, tapping on his shoulder as he expected praise.

Oscar gave Malum a few pats before turning his attention to Kazimir, "Are you alright dude? That looked like it hurt." The herd had begun to move once more, so Oscar followed along as he waited for Kazimir's answer. It should be an easy trip to Mauville from here.
