Bryan had just finished visiting verdanturf town and was walking on route 117 looking for some new friends to make. He had just finished dropping off corsola at the daycare hoping that she'd make some Pokémon friends there and not be so shy afterwards since well she only ever came out of her shell for bryan and that could be a problem in double battles.

As bryan began to walk down the route it wasnt long before he ran into a random pokemon that blocked his path.

Bryan ran into an illumse, it was a cute Pokémon who seemed really busy at work for trying to find a Volbeat to partner up with. They were native to hoenn and now that Christmas time was approaching they would normally hang around this area and light up their bodies to communicate with one another. Bryan decided not to really disturb her since well she was busy before he continued down the route and walked into another pokemon.

Bryan suddenly bumped into an absol...it's white mane and beautiful red eyes pierced Bryan's own. He was amazed by their appearance, they were Pokémon typically who could detect disasters and other unfortunate events. Bryan felt bad, people labeled these creatures disaster bringers, maybe they just had bad luck? maybe they knew what was going to happen and wanted to help? Regardless Bryan could understand what it meant to be mislabeled so he felt relatable to the creature. taking a page out of hit's book Bryan decided to try and befriend the Pokémon this time. He put honedge away in it's ball and crouched down and sat on the floor. Calling to it "So...how come you let me see you?" he asked curiously "am I the disaster? I think my mother would probably agree with you.." he said as he outstretched a hand to the absol. [break][break]

Hopefully the Absol would accept his gesture of friendship, as it approached him his heart accelerated a little bit as he wondered how it would react, did it want to become friends?
