A terrifying terrorized the Hoennian country side.

A wide eyed, frowning young man stared at anything and everything that dared move within his line of sight with such scrutinizing intensity that lesser pokemon could not help but turn away and run.

"This is the lowest I've ever fallen." He said to himself in a low mutter, brows furrowing further as he tightened his grip on his net.

There was not a bug in obvious sight. Of course not. Why would there be? No bugs resided on this route.

No. This was a route of dragons. Of rocks. of fairies.

If he wanted to find the bugs, he would have his work cut out for him.

But that didn't matter. It wasn't the reason he was there.

He looked down to his phone, where a trading app was open. He had been browsing it casually, as he usually did, for he knew he would never be able to trade his own pokemon, no matter how tempting.

Or so he had thought, until he saw the Escavalier.

He had found himself browsing the owner's wish list before he could even think twice.

"I do this for you, Escavalier." He said, fixing his face into a deep, focused scowl before stepping into the tall grass.
