Let it be known that River Montgomery is a softie when it comes to his Pokemon. He had literally named his Luxio 'Baby'. [break][break]
So he's out in the snow - and oh, he had words about the snow - with Baby the Luxio, tossing the sparking kitten a ball with feathers on it. When the feline eventually got bored of River's lazy gameplay, she would toss the ball herself, leaving the ball to his own devices.[break][break]
And he quickly realizes that he's been surrounded by several Pokemon much bigger and much scarier than his Luxio. While she seems nonchalant about all of this and happy to entertain herself in drifts of snow and falling leaves, River tucks his hands into his pockets and glances around wildly.[break][break]

Honestly, he's not really sure why he bothers to call out to the stranger sitting near a rock, but he takes a few quick steps to try and get closer, side-eyeing the guys Pokemon as he does so.[break][break]
