Crying Wolf [Solo Wild]

Well it looked like it was time to turn in and head back… at least that what Ash had thought. A loud crashing sound coming from behind the girl and her Pokémon had her do a quick 180 to figure out what was going on.
Rushing to the scene of the crime she was surprised to see an Ivysaur that apparently just got done beating down a bunch some trainer and his Pokémon. So this was their culprit? Ivysaurs weren’t particularly known for being hyper aggressive so why was this one in such a tizzy? Perhaps it was just being extremely territorial?
No, she felt there was more to it than that. Maybe this trainer was trying to catch the Ivysaur and got his ass handed to him, either way it was kind of funny seeing how much the guy was in disbelief.
Her smile quickly disappeared when she noticed that this trainer and his Pokémon were already surrounded by a bunch of beaten Pokémon. It didn’t take much for Ash to get what was going on here. ”So you were the one going around terrorizing people and Pokémon for kicks huh?” She stepped forward, walking to the side of the Ivysaur.
The guy began squawking about something but it was too late at that point Ash wasn’t listening to him. As he went on about some bullshit about the weak and strong and enjoying smacking people and Pokémon around Ash looked to her Metagross and that was enough of a sign for the steel type.
The Metagross used Psychic on the man and his Pokémon sending them flying into a tree, knocking him out. Ash shook her head before turning to the Ivysaur who was a bit shocked by the whole thing. ”That’ll take care of them for a bit but for now let’s patch you and your friends up.” She petted the Ivysaur before getting to work.
Pokémon after Pokémon Ash did her best to patch them up whipping her brow after the last mon, a big smile on her face. ”Alright, that should be everyone!” She let out an exhausted sigh, a smile still on her face. With a job well done she packed up her things and was ready to leave but was stopped by the Ivysaur. She blinked, not sure what the Pokémon wanted but it made things clear. It kept gesturing to Atlas at her side, the Pokémon wanted to battle.
Ash was opposed to this at first but since the Pokémon insisted she gave in. ”Let’s give our friend here a good fight, Atlas.” The Ivysaur managed to beat that moron earlier by itself and it managed to come out mostly unscathed. It clearly was battle hardened and Ash had a feeling given by its eagerness to fight that it sought out the trainer on its own to test itself.
The Ivysaur made the first move, using Vine Whip. Atlas tanked the attack, grass type attacks weren’t going to be that especially effective on a Pokémon like a Metagross.
The retaliation was a Zen Headbutt attack which did considerable damage. The difference in strength between the two Pokémon was clear and the Ivysaur was well aware of it. The Pokémon kept trying however and charged with a Double-Edge attack.
It was stopped in its tracks by Psychic and with one last blow the battle was over. ”You did well.” Ash squatted down next to the Ivysaur, a pokeball in hand. ”How about coming with me? Plenty of fights in our future and you’ll just get stronger!” If the grass type agreed She’d press the ball gently on the Ivysaur’s head to let the capture device do its thing.
