Billi had been requested to help out clearing some pokemon in Mauville area. Where they were running the show, and causing too much issues, along with protestors. Luckily Billi was quickly able to get in without being caught by anyone but now the hard part was finding his way around the damn plant that he’s never been inside. And not to mention, magnemite and magneton were brutal pokemon to get away from electricity because they were essentially giant magnets.[break][break]

“I guess…..I’ll wait until someone gives me a good plan, because im lost.” he sighed to himself because Rotom wasn’t much help either.

Mason hummed softly to himself, matching his steps to the rhythmic beat of the song that was currently being played through his earbuds. His eyes lazily glossed over his surroundings as he sauntered through the building. According to the text he received earlier, this place was supposedly swamped with aggressive Pokémon, and yet, he was as isolated as could be. That is until he spotted a silhouette of a man standing near the entrance. He cupped his hands around his mouth, took a deep breath in, then called out to him. "Helloooo!"

It didn't take too long for him to reach the stranger. From the looks of it, he was absolutely at a lost -- probably because most people didn't spend their childhood rummaging through an abandoned facility like himself. Figures. He's probably here for the same reason, Mason thought to himself.

"Welcome to New Mauville. Would you like a guide?"

The guy’s gratefulness briefly made Mason consider the idea of intentionally leading him deeper into the facility before just vanishing, buuut given the mission, it would be a serious waste of manpower. While he didn’t doubt his Pokémon’s ability to fend off a few wild Magnemites, he certainly didn’t feel the need to risk it. Especially if they were contacting multiple people to do it. “Just follow me, I know this place a lil too well.” As he began taking his first few steps towards the generating, Mason shoved his hand into his pocket, fished out Polo’s poke ball and promptly released the rambunctious little guy. ”Sooo how did you manage to sneak in without so much of a scratch? Did you distract them with some news crew or something?”

Billi had very little to say because of how thankful he was, and his two rodents were cute enough to follow him along. The sound of magnemites echoing down the way, added to them getting closer to the generators. “Oh wow we’re getting close,” Billi’s fingers touched the pokeballs in his pocket. He’d probably have to use Dinn to remove them, but then again, he’d give the rodents their chance.[break][break]

“Oh I just kinda used my Rotom to distract people with a trick,” he shrugged as he arrived at the entrance to the generators. “Okay so we’re here!” he stared and there was a TON of magnemite and a few magneton. “Okay….thunder!” he ordered as the little pokemon shocked into it magnemite but it didn’t do much, “So what about you? How’d you get in here?”

As they approached their destination, the party was greeted with the sight of a bundle of pokemon hurdling around the generator. "Polo, use crunch." Mason ordered with a small nod. Excitement emitted from the small Luxio as he launched himself towards the Magnemites. Unlike his other two pokemon, who were as prissy as their trainer, Polo always enjoyed the thrill of battle.

The brunette's bored eyes flicked back over to the stranger. "I snuck in through the back window. Like I said, I know this place way too well." The luxio, still quite under developed, attempted to sneak it's teeth into one of the wild Magnemite. While it caused some damage, it wasn't too effective. "Keep at it, Polo. You got this!"

The boy was crafty indeed, and definitely small enough to get through windows. Now Billi he wasn’t that graceful, and with a hand that wasn’t one hundred percent functional he would struggle to do such a feat. Now the luxio was great and all, but Billi worried about it’s little teeth, “Aren’t you worried about Polo’s teeth,” Billi asked as he moved to grab his pokeball as the Megneton’s moved out, shooting out gyroballs towards them.[break][break]

“I think we angered them a bit,” the blasted and Billi dodged grabbing his mice. In a red flash of red light, a small snom and sizzilpede appeared sitting on Billi’s shoulders, The icescales from Snom being shook onto the generator. “Fire Lash,” he ordered as the centipede quickly jumped up creating a fire whip, and slapped magnetons out of the air as snom went and used powder snow on the generator to make it stop. “We...should figure out where the leader is,”

Mason didn't answer the man's question. Unlike those who often proclaim their deep affection towards their Pokémon and go wild about their strong connection with them, he doesn't mind a little wear and tear when battling. It's just the nature of this world. Worrying about trivial things like whether Polo will hurt his teeth just felt unnecessary. The teen swiftly slid himself safely away from the Magenmite's line of fire. Polo, who was much closer to them, was just barely able to follow suite. "Yeah, no kidding," He sighed. This was going to take much longer than expected. Copying the blonde's movement, Mason snatched another poke ball from his pocket and threw it away towards the horde of Magnemites. A flash of red erupted from the ball, eventually forming into the shape of a Sylveon. "Swift!" The Sylveon rolled it's eyes before sending a barrage of stars towards the magnemites, coupling Centipede's fire lash. The combination was enough to wipe most of them out. Those who survived ended up fleeing away into the darkness, most likely going back to their hidden leader.

The brunette nodded at his words. "My guess: he's sucking up the power from the main generator." He jabbed his thumb to the right of the generator they were currently staring at. "It's allllll the way in the back of the facility." Turning towards the direction he just gestured at, Mason began to make his way further into the building, his Pokémon trailing shortly behind. Sounds of nearby Probopass filled the silent halls as they marched forward.

As they grew closer to the generator, the sound of sparks filled the air, reassuring them that they were nearly at their destination. Their swift arrival was met with the sight of two angry Electrodes blocking the entrance of the back room. "I'll handle these guys. You keep going, I'll catch up."

Naturally one would assume Billi was a natural at this type of thing, but to be honest….it was ptsd at it’s finest. The crackle of electricity roaring through the air as he dashed with the other trainer, who apparently was acting like electrodes were a big scary enemy. But really….they just kinda explode which could be dangerous but if one was careful you’d see it coming. Blue eyes glanced back as he kept his bug pokemon on his shoulders, and the two smaller mice clinging to his pant legs.[break][break]

“Okay buddy I’ll move on ahead,” Billi yelled out grinned as the building began to open up, “alright!” he heard the sound of metal crunching up ahead and quickly released Dinn from his pokeball, allowing the yellow spider to spring forth, “go get it,” he ordered as he climbed on top of the spider, and it skittered along the walls crawling and avoiding magnemite.[break][break]

The spider hardly was a weakling and knew danger well enough that when the Probopass spun it’s magnetic field, that it allowed it’s webs to pull it along. “Get closer and take it out,” but it wasn’t...that easy sadly. It started to rumble the ground, creating an earthquake. “FUCK” Billi called out as his spider jumped back, and more magnemite and magneton showed up. “There’s a lot!”

I am the misery you crave

Mason knew the two belligerent Electrodes weren't much of a threat. They were most likely just looking for a victim to catch off guard, but unfortunately for them, the group was well aware of their intentions. He didn't even need to bark out a command, as his two Pokémon knew exactly what to do and how to do it. So, as they swiftly dealt with the two raging electric types (Dandy much more elegant than his partner), Mason took a moment to peer into the adjacent room the man had just sprung into.

From the looks of it, his hypothesis was correct: the room was flooded with Magemites, and of course, some magneton sprinkled in. "Tsk." His eyes flicked back onto his Pokémon. Both Spance Dandy and Tsuni were at a serious disadvantage against these Magnemites, leaving only Polo, who was currently the very definition of a novice, to be the only one capable of taking more than a single hit. He gnawed on his bottom lip. This mission was such a bad idea. The two Pokémon swiftly finished their anticlimactic battle with the two electrodes and returned to their trainer side, victorious smiles spread across their faces.

A sudden curse erupted from the direction of main generator. The group instinctively jumped into high gear and dashed through the doorway of the room. As they did, Mason reached into this pocket and released his final Pokémon, Tsuni, from his ball. "Be careful! One clean hit and you might be toast." He warned, his voice stern. "Now, Dandy use light screen, Tsuni hit that snot nose with hydro pump, and Polo use scary face. Focus on not getting hit." Just as he finished barking out commands, the army of Magnemite released a screech and threw out a wave of Gyro Balls, aimed directly at the two trainers. Similarly, the few Magnetons of the group screeched before releasing several different beams of pure light.

These attacks came from a multitude of directions. Both Mason and his Pokémon struggled to dodge these attacks, as there was generally no easy way to maneuver between the barrage of gyro balls and the several flashes of light. While Space Dandy and Mason managed to barely evade the relentless attacks, Tsuni and Polo unfortunately became the victim of two different Gyro balls.

Within the few seconds of peace that followed the attacks, his Pokémon carried out their trainer's orders. Luxio used scary face on the horde and Dandy created a shield of light to protect the group. Tsuni, who was much more battered than his companions, gritted his teeth before blasting out a high volume of water straight at the Probopass.

Billi watched as the pokemon turned against him, each attack seemed to fail or attract more for the sake of causing more damage. Even worse Billi had to figure out a way that he could attack without causing damage and drawing attention to themselves. It took a moment of deep breath while the spider dodged the attacks that flew towards them, “Frosmoth,” he released the elegant ice pokemon, with it’s large angelic cry filling the area, as it’s icy scales protected it.[break][break]

“Blizzard,” Billi commanded the ice type that quickly whip up a powerful blizzard, while painful to his own pokemon, the rock and steel types struggled against it as the storm froze them, and the battle ended, “Well we finished that! Thank god….now we just gotta get out….kinda made a mess though,”
