Less than an hour ago the ranger was sitting alone in a warm cafe, nestled comfortably in the corner of the building with a soothingly warm Latte in front of her. She was comfortable and well protected from the capricious weather outside. But, of course, this moment of serenity didn't last. With one single ping from her phone, the dutiful ranger leapt out of the building and began marching towards the winding dirt path that led straight to route 12-. According to the message she received, a local had just been reported missing by her worried father. He informed the officials that he last saw her right before she left for her morning stroll through route 120. And, to add salt to injury, she isn't the first person to go missing around here. It seems like there has been a handful of missing locals recently, and she was just today's lucky picking. "Who the fuck goes out for a 'stroll' in this weather," She cursed under her breath. Whenever reports like these come in, she can't help but question whether these people genuinely don't know better or if they just have a death wish.

Danny climbed down a ladder and began trudging through the thick blanket of snow that covered the ground. Her eyebrows were deeply furrowed as her expertly trained eyes swiftly scanned her surrounding environment for any hints that could possibly lead her towards the victim's location.
