ohai, so I'm just throwing this here, but I'd love for Mila to help Hendrix as a designer. As a ex-Interpol officer, I'd love for Mila to help him out as a confidant of sort *A* as he would've had access to old information about her as a defector of Rocket.

It's nothing that might seriously get her in trouble, but just as an additional helper to his superhero persona. In essence, I'd like Mila to be Hendrix's Melvin to Daredevil, Edna to the Incredibles. While he's capable of building the technology his suit uses, I'd love for someone to help him put it together and kind of add on the necessary protective features that keeps his suit lean, safe, and practical(?).

Seeing as she's a fashion designer, I feel like this might prove to be an interesting challenge for her.

Hello! I present Lex for a possible recruitment thread into Team Rocket. She just arrived in Hoenn and is, at the moment, very paranoid. She's just kind of scurrying around, constantly looking over her shoulder and never stopping in once place too long. She's a wanted woman by some dangerous characters from back in Jhoto and is seeking a means of protection of some sort here in Hoenn. Perhaps joining Team Rocket will fill this wish? She is a skilled thief with a knack for manipulation. She would be loyal to whoever can give her a comfortable place to stay and sense of security. Thoughts? Opinions? Ideas? so. hear me out. mauville U vs. slateport U.

angelo is currently on a gap year from mauville university, currently doing odd jobs and the like. maybe (if the timelines add up) both of them toured one of the campuses at the same time back when they were looking into being freshies, vibed but they ended up going to different universities. i can imagine them both getting along well enough, they seem to be friendly sorts! but maybe there could be a little bit of harmless rivalry there - playful banter, really - about their rival colleges?

mila alexopoulos & mateo martinez

i actually really like your character. i love that she's a fashionista. so, my plot, is that i think she should design sygna suits and bring them to reality. if you wanna battle good you have to look good, right? which is where mateo and sceptile come in. their battle bond creates some sort of brain blast in that big, fashionable brain of hers. in doing so she has chosen to use him as her personal model. at first, mateo is a bit weirded out by that big, fashionable brain of hers. but then he kind of digs the idea of it, but secretly hates it.

then boom, mila is the headliner of hoenn weekly for her sense of fashion. other than that i am running on no sleep and barely functioning, but she just made me think of sygna suits and how fashionable and pokemon friendly they were.

ooh! i'm loving this! OKAY, so angelo just finished his 2nd year and is currently taking a gap year to make some money (his family struggles, so he's currently working hard to send back some extra cash their way). he started college a little later than usual, too because he was helping out at home and working. he'd probably have been 20/21 at the time of becoming a freshman. not as old as leo when he started but both would technically be more 'mature students' just because they didn't jump straight in there from high school. so maybe they visited the colleges at the same time, clicked because they aren't all baby-face from high school but ended up choosing different locations?

plot twist: oh god. i love. this. so! angelo is a pretty athletic guy. he's currently cycling all over the region while working, enjoys being active and back home used to compete in the tour de alto mare. if he was to be in a team, it would probably be the swim team. he was a pretty busy guy back in high school and college, though.. so he probably wouldn't have been part of the team itself, or at least wouldn't have competed just because he didn't have the time to properly train. going to sporting events and just swimming on his own time though. thats a different story. so they could have bumped into each other then! :eyes:

maybe they keep in casual contact and now that angelo is off on his little gap year, they have more time to hang out? still keep that playful little MU v SU rivalry going on though. >:3

yes pls. i'm liking mila already so it would be fun to have angelo and her become friends but i agree, we'll see how they vibe in the dual wild thread! i like that idea of him running deliveries to her studio in mauville, maybe after he drops things off for her angelo sticks around and they catch up. please don't hate him for his fashion choices by the way ; w ; he doesn't have a lot of money so all of his clothes are either basic af/scruffy/old and well loved. (feel free to tell him he's unfashionable and that he needs new threads, not like he'd buy any LMAO)

remiel + mila

as friends: Remiel definitely vibes with the straight-forward, confident type who aren't afraid to say what they mean. He's usually got an indifferent personality to things and isn't very excitable (if at all, really), but I think that's contrasted nicely against the fun, flirty, and charming type in the past. In the modeling scene, I think Remiel's personality might even be preferable/sought after tbh haha. Speaking of, as nonchalant as he can be, he does take great interest in seeing others live out their passions. Talent, regardless of the medium in which he sees it, draws him like a moth to the flame. I think he'd have great respect for Mila's work, and he might have even come across it on occasion before. Wealthy and royal, he's been to his fair share of fancy events and premieres.

as enemies:

Unfortunately, Remiel's indifference can often come off as rude or demeaning. I think the possibility of Mila snapping at him during one of her fits can be pretty high, depending on the situation. Whichever route we choose to take with the two, I think Remiel will most likely be aware of her former connection to Rocket, and that may be part of the reason he takes an interest in her in the first place. I don't think he'll hold any resentment for that fact, however. But he does he take his duties as admin seriously, and if he thinks she is a danger to the secrets or secrecy of the current Rocket, then he'll most likely have to act. How this manifests (whether they battle, bicker, or try to ruin each other's reputation) remains to be seen.

as an ex-fling:

so they live in the same city, and remiel was in hoenn for several months before meeting his current main squeeze. back then, he was still working with the devon corporation as lead anthropologist. if you'd like, we can say they met during a gala or something and had a brief but eventful relationship before parting ways.

thread prompts: a fashion show in rustboro set during new year's eve, a tour of the calcifet winery/draciary north of rustboro, a bump in at the park/café, remiel knocks on her door to return a jacket she left at his apartment many months ago, etc??

remiel + leo

as friends: Leo seems delightfully easy to befriend, and I'd love to see something like him trying to get Remiel to lighten up or smile every once in a while. Remiel finds exuberant optimism annoying if it's too much, but he doesn't get riled up either. I think people underestimate his patience for others in social situations, and never really bother to really try pushing his buttons and seeing how he reacts. It's for this reason I think a friendship between he and Leo could be fun, and probably lead to some silly situations and maybe even a bit of a bromance. He may be older than Remiel by a year, but he definitely gives off that little brother vibe. And hey! They look alike, too!

as enemies: I don't think there's any reason Remiel would antagonize him at all, to be honest. The closest thing I can imagine is Remiel paying a visit to the apothecary shop he works at in order to purchase some plants for, well... less than holy purposes. Maybe some Rocket grunts have been routinely sent to said shop to try and extort it, and Remiel is sent to try and persuade the owner to sell (though not as aggressively, in a totally non-threatening legal way: 'I see you're having criminal problems, why not sell and leave it in your rear-view mirror?') In this sense, I suppose, Leo could see him as an antagonist. In other words, the guy who is trying to get his boss to sell away the shop and cause him to lose his job.

thread prompts: a visit to the apothecary, remiel attends leo's university as a speaker, the two bump shoulders while eating street food out in slateport, etc??

remiel + jayden

as friends: Yeah, touching upon Remiel's preference for people that I stated in Mila's section, I definitely don't think these two would become friends unless they were stuck in a room and forced to work together haha. BUT he's a current Rocket member. Which, of course, means they could have some sort of professional relationship: an admin and a grunt. In that aspect, Remiel could also be some sort of a mentor, role-model, or older brother type to Jayden. I know he wouldn't mind taking someone like him under his wing and molding him into the ideal member of Team Rocket.

as enemies: There doesn't appear to be much reason for Remiel to antagonize Jayden or vice-versa. Though, I suppose, depending on their interaction, Jayden could maybe see him as some sort of asshole or something. Remiel can be pretty demanding, cold, and calculative as an admin, and I'm sure that's rubbed a few of his peers the wrong way. Either that, or they choose to demean or antagonize him because of his royal background: although his true identity is kept secret from most people in Team Rocket, especially grunts and the like. There's also the possibility that Jayden's parents had a hand in some criminal activity with their company that affected Remiel directly somehow, but that sounds a little too complicated than it's worth right now.

thread prompts: the two are literally stuck in a room together at Rocket HQ (maybe the library?), Jayden is hired for an assignment with Remiel and he meets his alter-ego (The Fox), Jayden attends a Rocket boot camp with Remiel leading it as The Fox, etc??

remiel + kris

as friends: Kris seems like the man Remiel once aspired to be (and, on some level, still does). He's honorable on some level, but he gets shit done despite his checkered past. I definitely think the two would get along well for that, and his loyalty to Team Rocket definitely would not go unnoticed. Considering he's about five years older than Remiel, I think my guy would probably look up to him a bit. Even the aspects of his 'unlikable' personality seem to mesh well with Remiel's own, as he doesn't get fazed easily by such remarks or behaviors. They could make one hell of a team, in my opinion.

as enemies: Still, Remiel is an admin and he's from royalty, too, for that matter. Considering Kris is angry with the world, Remiel's royal background might make him feel a bit prejudiced towards him. If Kris disrespects him a little too far or a little too harshly, things could go sour quick and he can find himself butting heads against the cold, merciless dragon-tamer. In addition to that, Remiel holds great respect for Alethea Ivanova at the moment, and we're still in the process of threading but, if they end up becoming friends, that could be another little reason the two end up clashing.

thread prompts: a meeting at Rocket HQ, an assignment for Team Rocket, a training exercise at Rocket HQ, etc??

Following up on our brief talk about having mila alexopoulos design / create some gifts for Fernando. As someone who doesn't know much about the field, most of his approach is to find a professional and seek their advice or just follow what they say. Might go a good chance to explore that connection and see what comes up?

Aside from that, Silph Co. has recently been working on prototype clothing to allow people to persists through extreme heat / extreme cold. Stormy Silph, who can light herself, has had incidents of burning her clothes and Fernando had the company create some clothes that stick around. However, that doesn't mean they look nice. We could maybe create a relationship based on business and that's how they get along / know each other?
