[break][break] he releases his towel, setting it on a nearby set of stones before sinking into the warm water.

[break][break] "thanks though," he says, glancing at the other man. his smile is genuine. he leans back, stretching his arms over his head. "fuck knows i needed this."

flynn's not got many friends, so it's a bit surreal that he's making plans with THEO BECKETT of all people. then again, the whole situation is a little surreal.

[break][break] flynn's grin is wry as he walks over to the other. "not gonna take off your shoes?"

[break][break] he leans into the space next to theo, the cushions deflating slightly as he sits next to the other. his approach is more gentle, so there's no rising dust. "you like watching tv?" he says, a bit of surprise in his voice.

"hm." he clicks the button on the computer screen titled new report and begins inputting the information. "your friend got a name? or - that other person?" might as well be as thorough as he can, if he's gonna be doing this. wouldn't want the c/o on his ass for delinquent information.

[break][break] speaking of delinquent information... there had been an uptick in cases lately regarding poaching. flynn was more than aware of it, though he usually tried to lie low. not that, of course, he was gonna give vic any of that info — vic didn't need to know. he was still a kid, in flynn's eyes.

[break][break] "you're a ranger?" he asked with a bit of surprise, but then nodded. "that'll help."

[break][break] suit him? he doubted it. cop was the last thing he'd ever imagined being.
