It was still cold, bitter cold. The ground had a thick blanket of the fluffy white stuff, about three inches or so. The young woman sniffed, brushing her white glove on the tip of her rose col nose. At first, the trainer appeared as if she was about cry as soon as her winter boots hit the wilderness of the safari zone. She shivered harshly, snuggling herself in her jacket. ‘I can do this,’ Eleanor told herself, forcing herself to further herself in the safari zone, ‘I want one.’

The cool chill in the air sent a wave of goose bumps across her delicate skin underneath her jacket. Her body shivered, a puff of heat escaped her mouth. She hated the cold so much. It was just too cold for her. But with the rumor of a few pink pokemon being spotted in the safari zone, the coordinator could not resist the temptation to get a few herself. Her sapphire eyes flickered at the sound of a ghostly ghoul. She frowned as the pokemon materialized before her, snickering darkly. “GO AWAY!” She yelled, storming off bitterly.

This was a terrible mistake. She should have just waited for warmer weather later in the month or hoped that someone else would get them and offer them up for some kind of trade. But, it was too late to go back now. The young woman already spent the money to get in here. She had to find the pokemon she wanted. A sigh escaped the pink haired woman, shivering in her designer snow boots as she pressed forward deeper in the wildness of the safari zone. In the distance, the woman spotted a Taurus but only gave it a glanced and moved on. It wasn’t pink so she didn’t want it. Hugging herself, she could only hoped to find what she was looking for sooner rather than later. It was too cold for her and although these boots were made for the snow, she was sure this was ruining them.

The sound of crunching down under her boots was like white white to her. She sniffled, rose tipped nose wiggled. The cold was already starting to get through her designer winter jacket, goose bumps rose on her delicate skin. She shivered, letting her cool orbs flickered over the never ending blanket of snow before her. At this point, Eleanor didn’t even know where she was heading. She could feel her toes and fingers start to get cold. If only she had a fire type to cuddle or warm up with.

A few feet away, something moved that caught her attention. Her brows scrunched together, squinting in an attempt to see better. Her eyes sudden widened, a smile slowly appeared across her expression. It was pink! The new wave of adrenaline forced her body to listen to her demands to move. And when she got close, the oddly colored buneary’s head titled to one side. “Hi,” the pink haired woman greeted, kneeling down to the creature’s level, “I love your fur. You take really good care of it.” The wild pokemon blushed, hand rose to her mouth shyly. “Will you come with me please?” The coordinator asked, offering a pokeball to the pokemon, “I want to be the best coordinator ever. We will have so much fun together too. Plus, I love pink like your fur.” Eleanor offered a friendly smile, tossing the ball to catch the creature. It hit the creature gently on the head, opening and pulling the creature in. The woman waited anxiously for the confirm capture, hoping she would catch it and search for the other pokemon she wanted.

As soon as the safari ball clicked in confirm that she caught the cute little pink bunny, Eleanor jumped out and cheered. A squeal slipped her, feeling the new determination to get more pink colored pokemon despite the cold. After a few jumps of joy, the young women put the ball safely in her jacket pocket and let her gaze flickered over the vast wilderness of the safari zone. Something moving in the distance caught her attention, squinting her eyes as if it was going to help her see better. In theory it worked, but she wasn’t interested in a dedenne. It was cute, but not pink. Yes, it had to be pink for her to get it.

With no leads to give her guidance to where she should head next, the pink haired woman pushed her way through the blanket of snow more towards a cave in the distance. The next pokemon she wanted to get was a shiny chimchar. Unless she was mistaken, they were fire types. Fire types might be seeking shelter from the cold this time around. Despite being a fire type, the cold probably bothers them. Right? Either way, Eleanor set her target on a near by cave. It would also give her a chance to get out of the wind and warm up too. That is, if nothing dangerous was already in there.

Upon entering the cave, a growl like sound got the pink haired woman’s attention. Her orbs flickered franticly, fearing that she was about to get kicked out. Her sapphire gaze found a sleepy dragon was resting deeper in the cave, a snore echoed in the cave. Eleanor let out a sigh of relief, snickering to herself quietly at she was fearing the worse. She sniffled, moving further into the cave just to get out of the wind. Her gaze casually examined the dragon, hoping he wouldn’t mind some company while he slept while she warmed up some.

Being careful not the wake the dragon, the woman sat down on the cold and dirty wet floor closer to the entrance and let her eyes watch the blanket of snow before her. She draw her knee close to her chest, wrapping her arms round her legs and tried to warm herself up. Another sniffle came from her, already feeling slightly warming from just being out of the wind. Eleanor wasn’t planning on staying too long in the dragons home, just enough to warm up a bit before heading out again. Of course, she would keep an ear out for an angry dragon and an eye out for a pink colored pokemon who might appear before her.

The woman stared blankly out at the vast blanket of white snow, spacing out while she tried to warm up. It wasn’t until she spotted something that looked dark red frost pass her vision, blinking rapidly to clear the daze from her mind. It was the first pokemon she seen for the last ten minutes. But seeing as it wasn’t pink, the woman decided to get the creature go and keep herself in the cave just a little bit longer. She sniffled, shivering in her boots. “Just a few more minutes and I’ll leave,” she told herself softly, being careful not to wake dragon that slept behind her, “Just a little but longer.” Tightening her bear hug around her legs, the woman lead her head forward to rest her chin on her cold knee caps. Despite still being cold, she was starting to feel a little warmer.
