He had been given some time off after the last Op at the desert, and honestly, he kind of needed it, given what he had seen there.

With that in mind, the youth had turned all of his attention to an old project that had been gathering dust for a couple of years now.

Strictly speaking, he didn't have the official qualifications to make a dissertation on any subject, much less the taxidermy of pokemon.

Practically speaking, whoever had any complaints was free to try and disprove the results of his research after it had been posted.

With net slung over his shoulder, Doug stood in a route well known for both bugs and water types, the most common form of Anthropod in the Pokemon Kingdom.

"Awright. Time to catch 'em subjects." He said as he rolled his catching net arm, brows furrowed into a serious expression.

"That's not what I was hoping for." Said Doug dryly even as he readied the Net, giving the Greninja an apraising look that sent chills down the poor frog's spine.

"But... yes." Said the youth darkly, smiling wide at the creature. "You'll be fine trade fodder."

Greninja finally understood the terror assailing him when he saw that smile. He turned around, and ran.

He got clobbered by a flying net rod before he could escape.
