With not luck in new manville, genesis decided to head out the lower district of slateport. There were several different steel type pokemon she was looking for. However, there was three in specific she was hoping to find here today. Wearing her thick black jacket, skin tight skinny jeans, and snow boots, the woman headed out to venture the lower district. Her cool gaze flickered over the little food truck, offering warm hot chocolate on this cold winter day. The woman shook her head no, not feeling like she wanted to sweeten her palled.

Instead, the woman tried to move out of the man hustle and bustle of the area and move to somewhere she hoped wild pokemon would be hiding this time of year. With the cold weather and snow, many have retreated to either in door activities or warmer areas. If she was lucky enough, more pokemon have started to appear more often with less humans crowding the area. A cool breeze send the bare branches in a dance, loose snow whipping up and smacking her in the face. She huffed, shivering in her boots. “Come on,” she complained to her creature, “I’m already cold.”

The hunt for stronger pokemon was on. Despite the miserable cold, Genesis felt optimistic. Her green orbs flickered when she heard something rustle in a near by trash. To her surprise, it was a wild pikachu. Her alolan native pokemon gave the creature a dark glare, forcing the electric type scurry away. The female huffed, shaking her head. Pikachu’s seemed to be one of those higher sought offer. Either way, the team rocket member wasn’t interested in them. Not spotting anything she wanted in this area, Genesis and her fire and ghost creature continued the search.

She could not believe her eyes.

Her hand stuck out in front of her creature, stopping the creature in his tracks. He turned his gaze to her, head titled to one side puzzled as to why his trainer did this. Genesis eyes were wide, mouth agape as she observed this rare creature floating carefree in front of her. The creature turned to see, spinning his flaming bone and ready to attack. Fearing she might lose such a gorgeous creature, Genesis tapped the male pokemon’s head and lifted a finger. It wiggled, indicating it was not what she wanted. He huffed, staring at the oddly colored rotom. Reaching into her back, the woman summoned another creature.

The foongus materialized before her, shifting back and forth in her spot. “Use sweet scent to get that rotom close, then spore to knock it out.” The tiny mushroom turned to see said pokemon. The creature bounced in place, sending out a sweet smelling aroma. Genesis quickly hid behind a tree, peeking around to see if it would work. And to her surprise, it worked. The rotom suddenly turned direction and floated closer to the foongus. But when the rotom was close enough, the poison creature sent out of sleep powder that drenched the wild pokemon. It blinked before scrumming to the sleep, gingerly floating to the ground.

Genesis grinned, reaching into her pocket for an empty ball. “Please let me catch you.” She darted up to the creature, kneeling down and tapping the ball on the sleeping pokemon. The ball opened, sucking the creature inside and closing behind it. Her eyes were glued to the ball as it wiggled in her hand. “Please let me have you.” It was not only one of the rarer pokemon, it was also shiny. What are the odds of that? Genesis didn’t really care for the shiny version but would gladly accept it. Her should feel her heart racing, her breath shallower with each passing moment. “Please…””
