[attr="class","light"] a buneary had been seen whimpering from behind an oran tree. she seemed hungry, staring up into the oran berries above. as he eyed the hungry pokemon a sigh escaped him. removing lab coat and rolling up his sleeves. zenji would take the liberty of fetching the buneary something to eat.

it was surprised by the human's generous nature. once zenji successfully retrieved the berry, he'd return to the ground to hand it to the buneary. staring at the pokemon expressionless. his mouth would come to form a small smile. "i guess i'll have to take you back to the lab," he softly spoke. the pokemon would begin to feast upon the berry. as it did so a hand would come to be placed atop of its head.

"wanna come with me?" a ball was placed before it. "there's more food where that came from," god he sounded like a predator luring a child back to his minivan. if the buneary chose to come along with him then that was one objective taken care of.

zenji would pop the dedenne on the rump. but before the orange mice could scamper off, he'd reach into his bag to pull out a treat. handing it over to the pokemon, he'd say, "something for your troubles." and thus it scampered off.

[attr="class","light"]upon sending the little mouse pokemon off. a new pokemon would spawn just as zenji turned around. the pokemon was...very close to his face. zenji stared back at the one-eyed duskull. pondering on what exactly it wanted?

the duskull would then FRISK zenji. coming to notice the food he'd been carrying. it wanted some and began to levitate in a circle around the professor. "alright, alright. but first it's checkup hour, come here." he'd gesture for the duskull to come. thus did its examination begin. "well, considering you're already...dead? there's not much to really examine." he'd give the duskull one berry.

"i wanna take you home, there's more food where that came from. what do you say, duskull?" the duskull, with a merry attitude, would choose to come with the professor. so with a single pokeball, he'd gently tap the ghost-type upon the forehead. upon absorbing it the ball would shake, awaiting for confirmation of its entrapment.

[attr="class","light"]the drampa was thoroughly nursed by the professor. his infected wound became sterile. their wing was no longer damaged.

"alright, be sure not to fly too much on it. you're still healing, but you should be good as new by tomorrow with enough sleep." he could entrust that the caretakers of this safari would ensure it. "alright, onto the next."

[attr="class","light"]a chimchar would come to be seen hanging from upside down a tree. "oi, get down from there!" he yelled. zenji would wave for the fire-type to come his way. pulling out of his briefcase, he'd hold a banana up. "let's get a check-up, i rather not chase you this time." yeah, he was familiar with the newborn troublemaker.

the only way to get it to cooperate was with its favorite fruit: bananas. zenji would offer it to the chimchar once it made its approach. "now, stand still and eat." he'd begin to perform a check up on the fire-type. "yup, you're doin' fine." just as he'd hoped. "you ready to come home, troublemaker?" the chimchar would merrily yell its name.

it wasn't exactly sure as to what it was excited about, but as long as there was food involved it was in. "okay, let's go. taking you back to the lab." he'd offer the ball before the curious chimchar. with a simple touch upon the button, it was absorbed into the ball.
