Billi’s eyes went wide as he flexed back up, rocking the hammock, making him hold the man's shoulder with bright beady eyes. “Really?!” he asked, almost vibrating. “That's soo cool! I went there once when I was a little kid! I’m from spikemouth! Web hammocks stretched downward a bit from their combined weight, but held them firmly above the now wet ground, as the sky darkened more and the rain raged on.[break][break]

“yeah I’m the petalburg gym leader- creativity badge!” he grinned and stared at the man. “oh. I’m not that kind of one hell of a guy!” he noted the man’s eyes lashes, which..were..different and it made him curious, “Do you wear makeup on your eyelashes?” he needed to know if he had to be envious or not. “do you do stuff with your hands?” vague question, not intentional, “Like build things!”

"Spikemouth..??"Derrick repeated after Billi, closing his eyes deep in thought. As a kid he pretty much stayed only in Motostoke, and didn't travel to other cities when he was older either. It didn't help that Derrick's knowledge of geography was pretty limited. Not knowing what else what to say he briefly stayed silent only to be alarmed by the sudden thunder that came from outside. "Man, glad that thunder can't get in here." Derrick said to Billi with laughter.

Derrick never really had thought of putting time into challenging gym leaders, but he was very impressed that Billi had been one. The only thing Billi really knew about gym leaders was that they were extremely difficult. "Sounds cool, never been to petalburg but if I'll have to check it out when I'm there." Though Billi wasn't sure when that would be, he personally liked staying in rustboro. Derrick was a little off guard with Billi mentioning his eyelashes, not many people talked about them or expressed interest. "Oh their natural, I think it makes me look weird though." Derrick said his laughter becoming louder.

His eyes grew wide, stunned when Billi suddenly mentioned building. "I do! I'm a mechanic" The answer himself was vague, but did not lack enthusiasm at all. "I don't make much, and still have a lot to learn but man I love doing it. " Derrick told Billi with a big grin.

Thunder raged on outside, starting the beginning of a storm. It took a brief moment away from their conversation. Billi’s eyes watched as the lightning blasted through the sky, and they showed some concern. As much as he enjoyed rain, this storm….wasn’t on the manifest that he looked into before arriving. It...seemed of a dangerous calibour, and the Leavany stopped worked, and the concern was on their face, as they wandered deep back to make their own nest for the night.[break][break]

“you don’t seem very familiar! That’s alright! My mum made me memorize them all because she said being educated is important!” he nodded and looked down some, “Though I never graduated highschool! I’m kinda just..a drop out!” he laughed more and looked away. “oh petalburg is totally fun! People there are nice,” he nodded.[break][break]

Looking at the lashes more intensely he huffed, “naw man! Those lashes make you look cool,” he gave a thumbs up, “Mine are garbage, cuz their blonde so it looks like I don’t got none,” he mused, “for me to have any I gotta wear make up,” he shrugged more, “What do you mean you don’t do much! I wish I could build cool stuff!” which was true but Billi wasn’t a Builder he was just lucky he knew that he could stick an electro web around a metal rod, and it’d power his house.[break][break]

Well it had been a long day, and Derrick was ready to get some sleep in. Though this was the first time Derrick had actually been 'camping' if you could call this mission camping. As he listened to Billi talk, he felt that his eyelids were getting pretty heavy. Just as about sleep was about to close in on him a sudden roar of thunder scared it off. With a blink he nodded towards Billi - yeah he had totally been listening the entire time he was talking. Derrick was definitely not dozing off.

Hearing something about Galar again Derrick swiftly nodded. "Yeah maybe we can go there together sometime." He had been looking to go back to Galar sometime, now a days he's been busy. They would need to spend a week on the island after all. Derrick was a little caught of guard when Billi's face inched closer then expected. A small blush flushed onto the mans cheeks. "Thanks, never really saw them that way." He said with an awkward chuckle. Derrick didn't really care to much about how others had perceived him anyways. When Billi asked about what he made, his mood brightened up a bit. "Oh well, I mean.." He thought how he should phrase the next words he would tell Billi. "I haven't been doing much because people really haven't been hiring me." Derrick explained with a shrug. Scratching at his scalp.
"Well, I work on all kinds of machines and build parts." Derrick added on. He nodded when Billi explained that he made clothes from his pokemon's materials. "That's really creative.'

Billi noticed the man falling asleep and moved over to let him lay down some, as the first day slowly ended. “Oh yeah buddy! We definitely can! I think you're a cool guy it’d be fun,” Billi mentioned as he stretched out and relaxed as the thunder cracked on. Though he hasn’t been hired to do much, which is a damnation to all those kind of workers.[break][break]

“Oh well I can help you find work around Petalburg somewhere! I’m sure someone needs help! My gym could use help too~” the blonde smiled offering the man some work at least! Well that being said Billi also had pokemon fixing everything, which was great and all but they couldn’t fix a washing machine, maybe possess it, but not fix it. “yeah cloths are fun to make, and my pokemon help me make them! Butt uuhh maybe we should sleep,” granted Billi’s size was huge and took up a lot of the space, so not touching was impossible.

Noticing that Billi had made some space for him to lay down in, Derrick gave him a thank you pat on his shoulder. Laying down next to the man. He was pleased that the hammock that the leavannys had made was comfortable. The silk felt very soft, it felt like Derrick had been resting on top of poofy clouds. His eyes closed but Derricks ears and mind still had listened to Billi, he didn't want to fall asleep while the man was talking after all. Chuckling from Billi's enthusiasm Derrick felt happy he managed to meet him, his goal was to find treasure while on the island - looks like he found the best kind of treasure, in the form of a friend.

"Yeah? That'd be a big help." Derrick responded his eyes still shut. "Your a generous guy. I only met you today yet you offer to help me out in more ways then one." He added not really thinking straight due to sleep beckoning him. Derrick wasn't really bothered when he felt Billi next to him, it beat sleeping on the floor. Plus he saw nothing strange about it, even though they have met for the first time. He felt that they already formed a close bond. They were chased after by dinosaur pokemon, their bond was now practically unbreakable.
"Sounds like a good idea..." Derrick agreed, letting out a yawn. "Hope you know I snore and grind my teeth as I sleep.. anyway goodnight. " With that, Derrick grew quiet and quickly fell asleep.

Sleeping went well, needless to say, the storm raged on like a torrent. Waking up, Billi couldn’t tell if it was daylight, or night, regardless he had to get a move on to find something good to eat. So he scavenged the cave, finding some mushrooms, and plants that the leavany thought were safe to eat, and began to slowly cook them up. “hmmmm yummy yummy”

Derrick awoke to the sounds of Billi shuffling about in the cave, briefly covering his eyes so they'd have time to adjust to the light. He rubbed them to see what Billi had been up too. "Morning.." He greeted with a yawn, he still felt tired but slept pretty good considering that it was his first time sleeping outdoors. Glancing towards where Billi was Derrick noticed that he was preparing food. "Oh mushrooms huh? does sound good." Derrick didn't know much about the wilderness, or what was edible. From memory most mushrooms were edible right..? At least that's what one of the books he read said. Though he could have been wrong. [break][break]
Giving a wave towards the leavanny who had been helping out Billi, Derrick felt like the odd one out. He needed to help out somehow. Tossing out King's pokeball, the coalossal emerged with a mighty roar that shook the cave. "I'll have him start a fire for us." He hoped that'd make things easier.

Billi looked at the man and nodded, “Oh awesome! There’s some blue ones, some red ones and some brown ones! Oh ones that are shaped like bushes,” truly he didn’t know what ones were what but he really didn’t care nor did he think much of it to be honest. “bring the big guy! I’ll cook something on him,” he chuckled and started to cook the mushrooms before they were done, “ooooh they smell yummy and yummy”[break][break]

The blonde grinned, “do you wanna try one first,” he held out the pan with some yummy yum yum shrooms.

Derrick wasn't expecting for Billi to have a large variety of mushrooms. He gave the assortment a closer look and felt a little uncomfortable seeing blue ones with in the batch. He wasn't no expert but weren't colorful mushrooms poisonous? Giving Billi an uncertain look, he felt a little more at ease he assumed that Billi would know, since he said that he was used to these types of situations. "Alright no problem!" Beckoning the coalossal to come forth, the pokemon seemed a little flustered when Billi began to use him as a makeshift stove. Derrick only laughed, finding King's reaction to be amusing.

Curiously eyeing the pan, Derrick nodded. "Sure!" He grinned, taking a few of the mushrooms and immediately dropped it on the floor, not realizing that it was extremely hot. "Whoopsie" Derrick said as he went to pick the mushroom back up. "Was a little hotter then I imagined." With that said he wiped away some of the dirt that got onto it, he wasn't going to waste it besides he had been a hungry. Gulping it down in one bite, it didn't taste like anything special though maybe he had forgotten to take off some of the dirt because he felt like he tasted dirt as he ate the mushroom.

Giving a thumbs up to Billi, "Not to bad" He grinned, suddenly he felt lightly dizzy - but he ignored the feeling. Thinking that it was because he hadn't had food in a while. He continued to eat away at the mushrooms, being careful not to drop them like the first one. "Hmm, these ones are better then the one I just ate." Derrick said laughing a little bit to much. " Didn't think mushrooms would taste good!"

AS the other munched on the food, Billi watched and smiled, at least his cooking was sufficient enough to get them by with something good. “Oh sweet! Mushrooms are totally yummy! Like you can’t go wrong with mushrooms in any dish!” he nodded and started to eat them too. “Of course Leavany found them, I don’t know what ones are good,” he mused but of course leavany only knew mushrooms they could eat and not humans.[break][break]

Needless to say the cave started to change a bit, look a bit brighter, “Oh the cave has lights or something,” he pointed out then looked at Derrick, smiling in awe. Somehow the mans forearms got MASSIVE but they were cool, and he leaned out to touch them. “WOOOW your arms are hug!”

Upon Billi mentioning it, Derrick did feel slightly strange. The room felt like it was spinning and he was a little nauseous. Clenching at his head it seemed Billi was seeing things while Derrick just felt sick. "Heh, You think those were poisonous?" Derrick hoped that it wasn't the case, if they were that would be bad news. The nausea gradually faded and Derrick felt different, he had used drugs before so he remembered this feeling. Things began to look distorted, Billi's face in particular made Derrick even more confused as it looked strange with distortion.
"I think we ate some hallucinogens or something." Derrick said to Billi with a stifled chuckle. He was glad that they weren't poisonous but he wasn't so happy that he accidentally ingested them. Luckily for him, this wasn't the first time so he managed to get a good grasp of things. He was still slightly buzzed but it was nothing major. "So uh, you good brother?" Billi didn't look like the type of person to take drugs it probably will be difficult for him to deal with the weird imagery.

"Think it'd be best to lie low for a while, until you feel a little better. " He told Billi with another chuckle.

Yeah this is a little wild….The blue haired man that was normally slim fit was becoming a giant...buff guy with robot hands and like a triple but chin, but still had some kind of- wait was that a metal nose. Billi leaned over to touch the others nose, which was well! Indeed a normal nose in real life but he didn’t feel nose, but rather metal.[break][break]

“Wow your nose...is metal too.” granted Billi was a little too close and a bit out of it. “Oh?” he asked hearing the man. “so like magic shrooms?” he asked confused more and trying to figure it out all the same.
