Yui had been sent to help out the recent institute that the league was sponsoring. As a silph she had to put on a good face and represent Silph co, sometimes she cursed her gifts for giving her more work. She sighed though, it was a simple task at least, she just had to help some guy get the login credentials and set up their work area with him. However Yui was NOT built for manual labor, in fact she absolutely abhorred it in any sense of the word. However she had to keep up good appearances for fern since she was one of the "good" or "useful" ones to him, his version of a compliment. [break][break] She was wearing casual clothing today since a regular office outfit wouldnt be very useful for cleaning up now would it? She opted to wear a black tanktop with an oversized flannel jacket covering it and jean shorts and her flats. She walked over to the lab by herself, she told the person...what was his name? Oh yeah hendrix emmerson instructions on how to reach the office and that after they finished cleaning she'd take him on a tour of silph since fernando wanted him to be familiar with the new work enviornment. When Hendrix arrived he'd see a girl sitting on a computer as the screen reflected back onto her face as she was typing away. "Frickin frick, of course the login they gave me wasnt working. I'll have to fix it myself." she mumbled to herself as a porygon-z stared blankly at the screen observing the coding at work.

Hendrix felt a bit of apprehension coming into Silph Co., not because of intimidation but because he’d been using Evol as a platform for his research and development of the Rider system. Prior to their move, the redheaded engineer made sure to scrub the system and add additional protection should anyone ever try to access his database, but knowing FERNANDO SILPH ’s machinations, he doubts there’ll be much protection there.

Thankfully, Evol’s Littleroot location hadn’t been fully shut down, so he’s able to use it as a base of operation of sorts.

Setting down a heavy box, Hendrix wipes some sweat off his brow using a clean handkerchief. ”That should be it for the important equipment…” Looking around, he quickly realizes that something, or rather someone, is missing. ”Oh, right, didn’t they say that someone was going to give me a tour around?”

He scratches the side of his head with a small frown before heading out of his new workshop. He briefly wanders down the hallways and into the lab where he spots a blonde sitting in front of a computer with a Porygon-Z by her side. Arching a brow, he approaches, leaning over her from behind. Much like the digital pokemon beside her, he quietly observes and scans the code on the screen.

”You’ll probably want to delete that line if you want to get in a little faster.” he says, pointing at a particular line of coding.

Yui was typing away, not even really paying attention to the fact that someone had entered the room. He came up to her and criticized her code, she turned her head to him and shot a nasty stare, "Who the heck are you?" She said before turning her head back to the computer and continued to type away. "Dont need advice when it comes to this stuff. That's there for fern to know it was me. Lest he thinks someone's trying to hack into information. Fern and my staff know how I code, everyone has their own style." she said as she continued to type away and Codey turned to stare blankly at hendrix, it then slowly turned back over to the computer creepily only offering a small cry at the computer. Which Yui then deleted and fixed over and offered porygon a small pat on the head. "Thanks codey." she said as she realized who he might be "Ah, wait are you one of the new researchers? which one are you? zenji?" She said curiously asking who exactly it was she was meeting.

Digging out an almost crushed and nearly empty pack of cigarettes, he pulls one out and places it into his mouth whilst casting his gaze down at the girl with his nearly crimson eyes. ”You basically did more than hack into information, you pretty much created your own little backdoor into the system.” he retorts, lighting the cigarette in the process.

He pointlessly shakes the lighter in his hand like a match, causing the tiny ember to flicker and disappear before slipping it back into his pocket. The redhead can’t help but to stare at the young-looking girl, wondering who would let her wander the facility unsupervised.

Suddenly remember her mention a ‘Fern’, he surmises that she’s referring to FERNANDO SILPH. Shrugging his shoulders, he leans down towards the girl to stand face to face – the cigarette in his mouth roughly a foot away from her face. ”Yes.” he answers the girl teasingly with a smile. Understanding that the smell of nicotine might be unsuitable for a youth, the engineer pulls himself away, straightening his back in the process.

Hendrix glances around the facility before looking back down at the girl. ”So, how about that tour?”

There we go, a compliment instead! Yui smirked a little bit "Thanks, nice to know I can still weasel my way in if I want. It's just for now at least while I fix this damn thing, no one's used it in a while so all the stuff for it is outdated." she said explaining why she's going through all of this trouble. She did however glance at him as she apparently was right in guessing that he was Zenji, it was her fault for unknowingly being wrong since she was told who he'd be and forgetting it so easily. She didn't really react to the nicotine, she was around those older than her all the time who partook in that hobby. Meetings, brunches, etc.

Right." she said standing up from the computer abruptly, "Good timing, I just got to let it sit here and update. It might take a while, let's go." She said as she picked up her flannel jacket and begun to lead him around the offices. "First off is the cafeteria. Here you'll find a lot of fast food chains for a quick bite to eat. There's a couple of healthy food spots if you care about that stuff." she said as she talked.

Hendrix quietly wonders why someone would allow a teenager to wantonly rummage through the intricacies of their system, but he doesn't argue what is FERNANDO SILPH's questionable decisions.

Instead he follows after the girl, maintaining a fair distance as she leads him into the cafeteria. Feeling the rumbles of his stomach which then echoes outwards, his cheeks momentarily flush red as he passes her an embarrassing grin. "Do you mind if we actually grab something to eat? I'm famished."

Yui simply nodded in agreeance with the man known as zenji jabami . She didn't have lunch yet and besides, the food in the cafeteria always smelled really good. So she eagerly agreed "Sure." as she walked over with him to one of the cafeteria shops and began to order "a Burger and some fires for me please. Oh! and a soda!" as she told the cashier what she wanted.

Afterwards she'd find the researcher at whatever table it was that he chose and sat down. After a few awkward moments of silence, due to yui's inability to decide on what to talk about she finally broke her silence. "So, what exactly is it you're gonna be doing research on?" as she raised a brow in the man's direction, not exactly looking into his eyes but more so staring at the bridge of his nose to mimic the look of meeting someone's eye.

Finding the young woman to be much more amicable than he first anticipated, he beams with a happy grin as he nods. ”Perfect~” he says, as he follows after the girl into cafeteria.

While the sound of fast food doesn’t seem to appetizing, he doesn’t hesitate to order, only pointing at the blonde girl beside him. ”I’ll have the same thing.”

It doesn’t take very long for them to get their food and as he reaches out to grab to the tray, he simply turns back to the girl quizzically. ”Research, huh?” he ponders for a moment, thinking back to his project of Pokken Rider. ”Spoilers~”

Huh, she didn't expect a researcher of his caliber to be so...easy going...and so young as well? He seemed around her age yet people her age weren't as bright as her...at least very often. "Hmmm, must be REALLY interesting then if Fern so easily decided to promote you" she said as she held a french fry in one hand and holding up her cheek with another. After some idle conversation Yui's phone began to buzz, "aw dang. I forgot I had a meeting with the other software engineers in 5 minutes." as she scared the remaining amounts of her food. "But here's my number." she said using her airdrop to send her number to his phone device "Call me if you guys need stuff or your tech's on the fritz. I can lend a hand." she said as she grabbed her bag and ran.
