Party Pokemon

Sakuramochi- female, natural cure (starter)

moves:

lifedew, healing wish, soft boiled, helping hand, disarming voice, sing

Gifted to him by one of his mentors in the temple, Sakuramochi is the soft gentle mother to the baby pokemon. Even when they grow out of that phase and evolve, she still treats them as her babies.

Yatsuhashi- female - scrappy (starter)

Moves:

crunch double hit, stomp, reversal headbutt, sucker punch

Mochi actually found Yatsuhashi's egg and hatched it himself. It was a bit tricky to raise the pokemon but he managed, even playing the role of a mother kangaskan by altering his apron to serve as a pouch. Like Sakuramochi, she's kind and nuturing, however she's the mother that is willing to use tough love on other pokemon. She's the more firm mother who enforces discipline.

Yokan- male- torrent- (starter)

Moves:

watergun, rapid spin, withdraw, shellsmash, aqua tail, bite

The only thing connecting him to his parents is Yokan, the squirtile was found with him.

Akame- male- static- (Starter)

Moves:

thundershock, play nice, tail whip, sweet kiss, nuzzle

This pichu was one of the pokemon in the daycare at the temple but they took a strong liking to Mochi. Resulting in the lad taking them in. They tend to cause quite a bit of mischief.

Rajah- male- Sheer Force (caught in Granite Cave)

Dig, Rock smash, strength, heavy slam

Encountered in Granite Cave, MOchi was startled by this large pokemon and struggled with reacting. Through dumb luck, he managed to catch the elephant. Funny enough, they have a rather fatherly personality and is a classic gentle giant when you don't tresspass on his turf or catch him by surprise as well.
