A yawn broke loose as he made his way down the Fiery Path, it was always a rare thing when he could walk the whole path and not come across a single pokémon.

In all his visits in the past year, he'd never been able to ascend the path and then descend without seeing a single pokémon.

So if there were none of his way up. Starmie would take care of any on the way back down.

Before long on their path down a familiar fire type made its way past. "Starm-" Before he could even get the word out, Starmie was forcibly washing away the little guy with SURF.

Starmie used SURF; its Super Effective!

Luckily the move was used facing the core mountain-side rather than the cliff side. It seemed Starmie took a gamble on what he was going to ask for, moving to anticipate his orders rather than wait and listen for them.

It worked it fine this time. He tapped the unconscious Cyndaquil with a Premiere Ball. Moving forward he would be mindful of such brash behavior in the future.

Crimsen attempted to capture Cyndaquil!
