When the new rotation of the Safari Zone was made public, Sénon was ready to go on another themed safari.

Keeping the same castle grounds as the last cycle made it easy for the Ranger to quickly go about retracing his steps.

He was eager to see what new pokémon had been gathered here as well as the grounds he ran of time to see last visit.

A new pokemon he's never seen before approached and tilted its head in a smile at him.

"What's up, little one?" He leaned over the smiling fairy. "What exactly are you?"

Pulling out his phone he used DEXapp to fill in his gaps in knowledge.

Now knowing what a 'hatenna' was he looked up to see she had trotted off to a nearby berry bush. Too short to reach it Sénon came over to shake a few of the berries free.

While she had her fill of the berries and gathered the rest in a napkin pulled from his pocket, making her a proposition.

"How would you like to come with me?" He gave her another berry when she ran out.

Crimsen attempted to befriend Hatenna!

Advancing through the castle grounds he kept his eyes sharp one species in particular.

Despite his best attempts to capture two, the goldeen from last cycle slipped through his fingers.

He wouldn't let that happen this time, no many how many hours he had to put in.

As a shellos slid on about its business, Sénon did the same.

He was here specifically for a specific catch, and many of them.

It was paramount he keep his eyes on the prize.

Cute as the little sea slug might have been, he only had a limited amount to time to act and a limited amount of safari balls to act with.

He was almost startled to see a Minior in the wild for the first time. It wafted in the air like it was born to it.

Hesitant at first he reached out scooping it into his hand and bringing it close to him.

Sénon was curious about how the Safari Zone managed to keep the Minior from floating off into the atmosphere. His best guess was that they were fed until full and simply sleeping off a big meal for hours/days at a time.

Heavy as it was he was able to hold the minior as it mostly supported its own weight in the air. Before it could even register to defend itself from him, he shoved a berry unto its face.

He wasn't sure if minior ate from pores in their shell or from that little mouth but either way it had a berry to contemplate rather than the atmospheric dust it usually ate.

Crimsen attempted to capture Minior!

Calling the Minior into a Safari Ball the berry it held (or rather that Sénon held for it) hit the ground where a Ponyta of galarian features came over to eat them were they sat.

As he nibbled on the berries the Ranger patted down its coat.

Being a big fan of that Wild Wild Redemption game it was fresh in his mind to not only pat down a ponyta but brush its coat if you had one.

Which, for this very purpose; he had.

With even a slight brushing, he'd tamed the happy ponyta

Of course when he tried to move on, the galarian pokémon began to shine supernaturally as it used HYPNOSIS on the ranger, putting him to sleep where the Ponyta soon joined him.

Crimsen attempted to befriend Ponyta!

With only one Safari Ball left Sénon was keen to make his way about the castle grounds to find one more minor ended quite swiftly he rounded a corner too fast only to feel the cruel reality of his inertia being inverted in an instant.

From his back he felt a sharp sting and a ache that seemed to spread out like a glass splintering from a single cracked point of contact.

His nerves were figuratively on fire and screaming at him.

As he opened his eyes a Happiny smiled wide and innocent to his face.

He'd nearly stepped on her rounding the corner too fast but after defending herself with a SEISMIC TOSS the baby seemed to forgive him and urged him not to move in his injured state.

Although she couldn't heal him herself, she used what little she knew to keep him from making it worse.
