He had been awake for a while now; even their late night into near dawn activites couldn't keep the man's body from being up and alert at 6 am.

Strangely enough however, he did not feel like a man who had only gotten 3 hours of sleep. He felt better than he could ever remember in the past decade. Gwyar had thought he might have been slowing down with age, but right now he was certain he could have made his younger self eat his dust.

But who cared about that? A bright smile graced the man's lips as Eva groaned besides him, a soft laugh leaving him as he watched her face shift in distaste for the morning light.

His arm wrapped around Eva as she snuggled closer, his body rolling to face hers before pulling her closer yet, shielding her from the light as he settled his chin atop her head.

The day and his newfound youth could wait; there was nowhere else he would rather be at that moment.

His frame shifted with hers, pulling her close into his embrace and tightly against him. The warmth of his bare body against hers was an intimate comfort she never recognized she missed so much until this very moment. The realization made her dread the thought of the following lonely mornings, but now wasn’t the time to focus on anything but the present.

Gwyar’s laugh stirred her from the verge of sleep. He was awake, she could feel it, “Morning person, I see,” she grumbled from against his chest with a smile. Eva's head shifted back, sleepy eyes peeling open to look up at him.

Very much so.

"Don't mind me." He said, meeting her gaze and grinning brightly before he leaned down to kiss her forehead. "Sleep as long as you like."

He wasn't sleepy, but he was fairly sure that if it was with her, he could stay bedridden all week. Of course, if they were going to stay in bed all day...

His eye twinkled, his grin gaining a raunchy edge.

"Unless you wanna pick up were we paused." They were not finished yet; simply taking a break.

There’s something oddly comforting about a forehead kiss. It made her smile, eye growing a little brighter when they met his gaze again, “I’m awake now,” she yawned, stretching lightly before relaxing into his embrace again.

The salacious grin didn’t surprise her. If Eva had learned anything about Gwyar last night, it was that he has an insatiable appetite. He was lucky Eva had the enthusiasm and energy to keep up.

The hand on his chest slid up onto his neck. A finger gently traced his strong jawline, an enticing draw to bring his lips to her own, “I wouldn’t be opposed,” she smiled with a devious sparkle in her eyes, lips parted slightly in anticipation.

Drawn in by her touch and the parting of her lips, Gwyar did not resist his desire to indulge for even a moment, kissing Eva hungrily as his hand found its way atop the curve of her back, calloused fingers slowly making their way south.

What a blessing it was, that she be so patient with his unconstrained desire; he would have thought so many years of celibacy had tempered his will, but no; if anything, they had eaten at it, eroded it until there was little if any of it left.

Or maybe Eva was just irresistible to him.

"I'm not ruining your plans for the day, am I?" He muttered teasingly as he broke from her lips and kissed his way up to her ear, wrapping his lips around her lobe softly.

He kissed her with a familiar hunger. It excited her, quickly displacing any sleepiness she had left. The hand that drew him in with a tantalizing touch curled into his blonde hair. A leg gently slid over him to pull herself even closer. Between the warmth of his body and the alluring movement of his rough hands down her soft skin, she was almost completely lost in him again.

That was, until he broke away from their kiss. It took her a moment to gather what his deep voice asked as gentle pecks moved up towards her ear, “Plans?” she faintly repeated, distracted by the lips teasing her ear, “I don’t have any today,” she managed to utter before goosebumps rose across her back and down her arms in anticipation of break time being over.

A grin slid over his lips at those words, releasing her earlobe to speak. "You do now."

Her grip on his hair was rather convenient, he thought as he began to pepper a path down the length of her body, kissing his way from her ear, to her jaw, to her neck, to her chest, to her stomach-

Strong arms slid down and over her thighs, digits curlign around flesh and attempting to coax them to spread while he focused on her navel, letting his teeth drag gently over skin.

Eva couldn’t help but let out a soft laugh, “Oh, really?” she questioned, a teasing tone mixed into an intimate sigh as his lips moved down her body.

He unraveled any will she may have had to get out of bed with every soft brush of his lips against her. She was pinned down against the mattress by nothing but the weight of her desires. Her body gave way to the pressure of his fingers, letting him manipulate her as he saw fit. Despite an extremely satisfying night, the carnal instinct that had surfaced craved more. It seemed his did too.

Both were willing participants and easily swayed to give into their craving. The rest of Eva’s senses dulled to heighten the sensation of touch. She relished in the feeling of him and slipped right back into a familiar place of indulgence as the intensity of his touch grew and they tangled themselves together until she was left breathless.

The pleasure lingered on her skin like a light tickle, moving softly as she shifted to catch her breath. She glanced over at him with a soft, satisfied smile, “I hope whatever you have planned involved us getting out of bed,” she teased, knowing that while staying wrapped up together beneath the covers was tempting, it would probably be in their best interest to force themselves out of bed. Shower, eat, hydrate: things they really shouldn’t put off much longer.

Gwyar looked up at her, looking slightly out of it as he smiled.

"Not at all." He admitted shamelessly as he licked his lips clean, before pushing off against the mattress to stand up. Stretching his arms above his head while grunting, he glanced over at the curtain-less windows, getting an estimate of the time before his arms flopped back down to his sides.

He turned his gaze back at Eva, feeling his heart beginning to pump blood yet again at the sight of her... before he shook his head, reaching over to smack his face with both hands twice.

"But it's probably a good idea." He finally forced himself to say even as his body vehemently protested, the man glancing down and huffing. "Never mind that."

He raised his arm once more, sniffing at his pit before flinching.

"Let's hop into your shower!" He said, grinning as he approached the bed, rounding around it. "We can continue talking about what we'll do with the rest of our day there."

Talking. Sure.

Lowering himself, the man attempted to snatch the Doctor off the bed and onto his arms.

"Where to?"

He was overflowing with energy; Nevermind a decade younger, he was in the best state of his life, period.

Eva rolled onto her side as he hopped off the bed. She’d be caught shamelessly admiring the view with a small smile when he looked back towards her. She shook her head playfully. Insatiable.

The doctor eyed him curiously as she followed him around the bed. She sat up at the mention of a shower, “Good idea,” she agreed. Eva certainly needed to clean herself up and get this bedhead under control before venturing out into the world.

“Oh!” she laughed in surprise when she was scooped up off the bed in one swift motion. Her arms gently wrapped around his neck and her head motioned towards the door on the other side of the room, “That way,” she grinned, letting him carry her over towards the master bathroom.

Once her feet hit the cool tile floor, she hopped over towards the walk-in shower, sliding the glass door aside to start the water, “Do you have any plans today?” she asked as she let the water run over her fingers, adjusting the temperature until she was satisfied.

She reached back to gently grab his hand, leading him into the building steam.

"I'm afraid last night threw any plans I had for a loop." The man admitted with a laugh as he set her down, looking none too disappointed about the fact as he watched her start the water.

Not that he had much to do to begin with, given that he was vacationing and all, right? Right.

He did not put up even a lick of resistance as Eva grabbed his hand and led him into the shower, feeling goosebumps spread over his skin as the coolness of the spring morning and the bathroom tiles was washed away by the steaming water.

"Ah... that feels amazing. Maybe I'll just stay around for a while." He said with a grin, pressing up against Eva, his hand reaching up to brush away some strands of hair from her face. "I'm sure I can be of some use."

Fun notwithstanding, Eva looked like she needed some help unpacking her... well, everything. But that could wait until later.

Reaching around the blonde, he grabbed the soap on the shower rack, fully intending to 'assist' the other blonde.

"Let's go on a date after this." He said after a moment. "It's been a while, hasn't it?"

Not a terrible lot, but definitely too much. Plus, they hadn't dined before their marathon.

"How about a picnic?" He said a after a moment, grinning wide. Then his stomach rumbled, loudly. "... A take-out picnic."

No such thing as time for cooking.

The warm shower really did feel refreshing. Eva immediately moved under the flowing water, leaning her head back to let it soak her blonde hair and run down her chest. Her eyes popped open when she felt him press against her. The shower was small, but not that small. Still, she didn’t mind, “I’m sure I can find something for you to do,” she grinned, watching him retrieve the soap from behind her. When he failed to use it on himself, she could only assume what he meant to do with it. She brought her hands to rest on top of his shoulders, happily accepting the assistance.

“A date?” she repeated with a small frown, she hoped he didn’t think it was something he had to do after last night, “A picnic does sound nice,” she agreed, “I think it’s supposed to be a beautiful day,” although, she didn’t really even know what time it was.

When he was done assisting her, she wanted to return the favor. An extended hand asked for the soap so she could get started, “Yes, take out,” Eva wasn’t a cook, and she certainly wasn’t prepared to make them anything, “I think there’s a good deli down the street. It’s where a lot of people from work go if they don’t bring lunch. I haven’t been there but . . . I’ve heard it’s good.”

"Is... there an issue?" He asked her softly, worry rising in his chest. She had seemed to like the idea of a picnic, but the small frown that had marred her pretty features and the tone to her voice as she echoed the words were hard to ignore.

He was eager to do a little more than just help clean her up, but he gave back the soap when asked... before his arms pressed against the wall behind Eva, effectively pinning her.

"Just helping out." He said casually, a cheeky grin adorning his lips as he let her work.

He nodded with a hum at the mention of the deli, happy to just eat whatever. He usually watched his dietary needs, but he was starving enough he figured anything would be great, high-carbs or not.

"I'll cook next time, promise." He said with a chuckle; he wasn't a super cook himself either, but he had raised 2 children more or less on his own; he knew his way around a kitchen. "Just too hungry to do so now."

A moment passed, before the man grinned again.

"My turn to pay." He said as if bragging, looking properly smug about the fact.
