His first venture into a Hoennian Safari Zone.

His Wailmer, Fayle, seemed to have a boundless amount of energy today, even after their morning swim. So Lev had decided to let the whale bounce free in the vast wilderness for a day. It bellowed happily as it did so, guiding its trainer towards the beach. If it happened to run out of energy and air before then, he would return.

As things were, however, the Wailmer could maintain its presence on land a little more self-efficiently than most people thought. Pulling moisture from the air (MIST) and coating its body with it (WATER VEIL), breathing became no concerning issue.

The stars shooting from the sky, though...

A Shellos had strayed away from the Safari Zone's beach area and somehow managed to get itself lost in the forest. It seemed pleasantly calm despite the fact, however. In fact, its mood brightened upon spotting a red toadstool nearby.

But, just after it began slowly crawling towards said toadstool, a massive shadow engulfed it. It looked up, and it saw a massive dark blob descending upon it. Before it could do much of anything else, it was squashed by the weight of a Wailmer.

The entire thing had been accident. Regardless, Lev produced an empty ball from his belt and tossed it at the now unconscious Shellos. "Heh... unlucky bloke."

The mischievous Galarian Ponyta was intent on trying to pop the 'balloon' that fell from the sky. It raised its head and galloped, trying its best to aim its horn as the 'balloon' continued to slowly fall.

The Wailmer, in the meantime, seemed blissfully unaware of the threat beneath it. It only continued to suck in air and extend its floating for the purpose of enjoyment. Eventually, the pony just gave up and galloped off.

He shakes his head, and watches as the one he's crouched in front of takes the rice cracker he's offered. It scarfs it down hastily, chirping a melodic coo afterwards as it sways its hips gently and fans Alevander's face. The pirate laughs.

"Well, you're a gay little fellow, aren't you? Maybe I'll keep you around."

Eagerly, the Oricorio leaps onto his shoulder and perches itself there.

Like a child at a festival, a Happiny ran out from the forest and stood upon the trail to see the floating Wailmer in the sky. It wanted to be a part of this, too! Alevander watched as its eyes glowed, and as a mysterious power effected GRAVITY itself and suddenly sent his Wailmer shooting downward.

Just as he realized he was about to be crushed, however, the Happiny got a grip on its power and reversed the gravity surrounding the round whale. Fayle bellowed happily as she rose to the sky above, almost completely weightless for once. The Happiny cheered. But, as soon as they found their chance to slip away, Lev and Fayle departed.

A Happiny without a grip on such powers was a scary thing!

A meteor crashed down on the route just a mile ahead, kicking up a gigantic cloud of dust before Lev rushed forward to see it up close. Eyes glittered with a fascination he hadn't seen since his days at the Hokulani Observatory.

And, as he had predicted, it was a Minior! Considering one of his very first pokemon was a Minior, he had a soft spot for the energy-based lifeforms. Fayle, on the other hand, descended from the sky without care and squashed it just as it slowly began to arise.

Devastated by the sight, Lev quickly produces an empty moon ball and proceeds to capture the Minior within it. They'll head out of the Safari Zone and get that broken shell patched up nice and good. He just hoped it didn't dissipate or explode before then.
