HELLO, EVERYONE! We're entering our 7th Arc on Hoenn! The setting and timeline will be updated to reflect this. Stay tuned as we explore the year of the dragon (or draconids?), while the site narrative brings Hoenn closer and closer to unparalleled dangers.

JCINK OR PROBOARDS? We're currently deliberating upon this potential move to the Jcink platform. Jcink has several tools that allow for automation of staffwork. hoenn is inspired by, but not associated with nintendo's pokemon franchise.

skin is created by pharaoh leap with graphical help from red. we would like to thank leap and meulk for their additional templates (staff temp, custom pc).

next, garden/swarm spawn, ranger raid, black market, pkmn contest post templates were coded by ulla.

teal has created the wild spawn, endeavour list, league card, exhibits. he and spiral also created the gachapon script, while the former created the gachapon template.

loreq has assisted us with many quality of life changes on site involving coding fixes, plugins and more.

lav has coded in UI accessibility features on Hoenn (cogwheel icon on the navigational sidebar).

characters belong to the members who write them, and all posts and templates on site are credited to their respective authors and artists. we claim nothing that is not ours. thank you for stopping by.

SYNOPSIS: the hoenn league has successfully diverted the 99943 meteno meteroid into an alternate universe. consequently, the region has experienced a violent planeshifting, a bombardment of terastal crystals, and now sports various rifts to realms in the ultra wilds. as megalopolan activity begins to rise, trainers who embark in expeditions to these realms uncover secrets behind the condition of the multiverse.
meanwhile, team rocket and the league amass resources to aid in their conflict against each other. the crime syndicate is poised to take more of the region territorially, while the league ponders a direct offense. legendary pokemon roam the region as potential benefactors or ruinous omens, leaving many to ponder how the hoenn region will ultimately be responsible for the end of all worlds.

Given the look of her, some might expect for Calliope to be afraid of fire.

Maybe she once was. Now she understood that a flame would always burn inside her chest, hot and angry; there was no semblance of sense in fearing herself. The rocky outcropping of Lavaridge Town reminded her of Cinnabar- craggy and hard to traverse where humans hadn't laid claim with settlements. That had always been one of her favorite spots.

Prism traveled next to her, the Wooper's short legs barely keeping up with her longer strides. While covered in scars, Johto had been good to her in the recovery department. She no longer had to worry about weak muscles or malnutrition and her physical recovery had went well. Aside from the scars, she was... okay. Enough.

An empty pokeball was clutched tight in hand as she moved.

A tired eye scanned the high grass, watching as the tough and waxy strands shifted in the breeze. She caught yellow shifting between the blades, a Scraggy that was minding it's business as it passed by. Pausing, Calliope considered the pokemon. Fighting and Dark would be useful. Yet, she felt not attachment to this particular pokemon. No real desire to raise it. It wasn't special to her.

So, she shifted, allowed the Scraggy to pass without bothering it, then continued deeper into the wilderness.

When the Ponyta lifted it's head from grazing, Calliope stopped still in her tracks. Perfect. She pointed Prism at the wild pokemon. The Wooper waddled forward on his short legs before taking a deep breath. A stream of water shot from her mouth, the force knocking her back and soaking the Ponyta.

The Ponyta whinnied and reared on his hind legs. When it did this, Calliope flung a pokeball at the horse pokemon. Excellent.
