Casey's father had an important but minor local government job, and he could never break into the national stage for one reason or another. It dogged him, but he did a good job as the Comptroller of Fallarbor. His mother on the other hand was a radio operator for the fire department. His father was frequently absent, but when he showed up, he was nothing but kind, making it hard for Casey to stay mad at him. This would go on to inform his relationships with his cousins; barely there for them, nothing but smiles when he could make time for them. Being in the seat of some minor power gave him an in with the fire department, though he wasn't physically cut out for moving the hoses and ladders. He'd likely be a radio operator like his mother, but first he had a job as an administrative assistant.[break][break]

One day, the fire department was one man short, on the day that they shot their horny firefighter calendar to raise funds. Casey was drafted to be Mr August. The experience taught him nothing by itself, but the numbers don't lie. He immediately packed up and moved to the east coast of Hoenn to live in Lilycove, the home of the coveted Contests. Following February of this year, he dropped off the face of the earth, only to resurface five months later with arms covered in tattoos and his purple hair dye fading; giving way to his family's natural pale red. The incident where he went missing was a rockslide during a routine hiking trip, during which he was concussed, and had to have his arms operated on. Now 90% rehabilitated, he's no longer the cousin It of the family, trying to be more outgoing when he was shown how easy it was to die suddenly. [break][break]
