[attr="class","spiral"]Lilycove is teeming with life. An abundance of stores wash the seaside city in colored roofs. Each one is a symbol of industry, distinct with a personality beholden to its proprietor.

There is no chance of boredom within this bountiful feast of option. Each one, no matter the result, is an experience to be had. And Fernando samples them on days gone by, bestowing each one with a chance to entertain his taste for quality.

The door creaks open as a bell chimes—quaint. A common little touch that dolls a store up with a cozy, humble impression.

He enters, eyes forward, curious eyes reaping the décor. His pace is leisurely, dwelling on a whim rather than with purpose. Eventually, it brings him toward Lottie.

“Good afternoon,” a cordial greeting between patron and seller. “I’m looking for a gift. Something fashionable.”

He expects a spiel or inquiry.

It's the bell that alerts the seamstress to a customer entering her store and lucky for her because it gives her some few moments of time to spare to prepare herself for dealing with people in general. A long drawn in breath through the nose and slowly out the mouth and Lottie stopped cleaning her back storage room and went out to see who'd come into her store and see what help she could offer. Positioning herself behind the counter, her hands folded over one another on top the surface as she stared at the well-dressed man who looked a very busy fellow, an important figurehead probably. [break][break]

"This isn't a gift shop. What exactly is it you want?" blunt and forward is Miss Dalton's trademark mood and this man will learn it the hard way. But now she was a little irritated at the fact this man comes in and asks for a gift as if she can read his mind on what he wanted. Only clue she got was something fashionable and that could be just about anything. Lottie will wait though, wait with a slightly irritable look on her face and hands rested on the counter while she counts the seconds until this man gives her more information.[break][break]

"Well?" Lottie prompts, having a been a touch impatient.

When prompted for more, Fernando picks a random article that graces his peripheral vision.

Brows raise as the thought crosses her mind about giving this man a hard time and tease him on whether the dress is going to be worn by him or for his boyfriend. Those don't make it past thoughts though as she lets out a soft breath. [break][break]

"You will have to give me more than that. What is your lady friend's taste in fashion? What is her figure like? Does she normally wear dresses? If she does, what length?"[break][break]

The poor guy will have to deal with more questions than those first fired off few. But what do you expect when you come into Lotties shop and are extremly vague about asking for clothes.

There’s no bite or sarcasm from him. Fernando’s entire success lies in trusting and relying on those who specialize in their crafts. Lottie, in his eyes, is no different. Someone who sells, spins, or just surrounds themselves with clothes should understand it much better than himself.

He pulls out his phone to pull up the pictures of his intended targets. cait alfric, illeana reyes, even Stormy Silph make up the people he cycles through. All their pictures are official ones that can be found online, some highlighting their figure better than others.

Well, that's unexpected... A gift he wanted earlier implied he was shopping for one girl. But to be shown images of three and cyan eyes narrowed in slight irritation at this possible player before taking a look at the images once more. [break][break]

Out of the three, there was only one face she recognized. That aside though she can somewhat tell what kind of dresses they'd possibly like. [break][break]

"I assume you don't want anything custom made and want something off the shelves..." [break][break]

Lottie stepped out from behind the counter and made her way to one side of the little shop to start filing though the hangers of dresses. [break][break]

"Come here, I need you to hold some of these."

Fernando is about as picky as the Gulpin that scours the streets after night. As long as it doesn’t have any obvious flaws, he’ll accept as much. At least in a subject he knows little about.

He follows her like a dutiful chaperone—at her beck and call. The ones she does end up passing his way get a second glance through as he tries to understand the methodology behind her picks.

By the look on his face, it’s safe to assume he’s none the wiser. That’s why he asks, “How do you know which ones to pick?”

If she were any other person and had a personality that was more open the maybe... Maybe Lottie would have happily explained with passion on how she knows what to pick for people or something along those lines. Instead, all that came out of her mouth for an answer was; [break][break]

It was the truth in a sense, but this man's brain would probably melt out of his ears if she took the time to explain to him to the point he understands. And by a glance at him, he looked confused so it was best to spare this poor man who looked like he had to poop... [break][break]

A dress was plucked from the rack after a moment and with a up and down look at it she held it for the gentleman to hold then resumed her search for some other selections.
