Hazel had finally bloomed for the springtime! It was time to let the Deerling run free for a little while and greet the season. Adelaide knew no better place within reach than Route 101! So, leaving her hotel back in Oldale behind, she summoned her Deerling to travel alongside her as they followed the route.

Before long, of course, the wonders of nature surrounded them at all sides. Grass and Fairy-type Pokémon happily went about their day as the sun shined bright above. A gentle breeze carried with it the sweet fragrance of flowers and fresh honey. Adelaide inhaled deeply then happily sighed as she let the springtime fill her with a sense of a joy.

A Rimbombee danced around Hazel as he pranced through a field of flowers nearby. The two seemed to make instant friends as they frolicked about. Adelaide had half a mind to summon her own Ribombee, but the wild one left to rejoin its family just then.

Though sad to see its new friend go, her Deerling quickly bounced back when it caught the scent of honey in the air. Reinvigorated and ready to find this honey, Hazel bounced away as Adelaide chased after him. "Hey! Not too far now, okay?"
