He’s used to having people come at him straightforward, no holds barred—

So seeing this kind of fighting style was completely new to him. Wait, wait a second where did the other one go—

He had a few moments’ notice before he felt his balance trip and his center of gravity shift that made him end up on the mattress.

“Shit,” he gasped out as he pulled himself back up on his feet—very narrowly missing getting knocked over again.

“What the hell,” he hissed, the fighting style exotic and strange. There was no way he was going to get this in any conventional manners he knew of.

how well will he adapt?

he'll have little time to figure it out as the third closes the distance again. they swing another kick in an arc, then pushes off their back to throw a straight kick right into yamada's jaw.
